Guest Reviews
- Simon (1/5): Shocking. Couldn’t even stay there because they said they cancelled the booking so slept rough. - Nothing Everything.
Avoid at all costs. I got scammed. Paid upfront months in advance. Got to the property at 4pm to check in after confirmation the same morning to check in at 4pm and everything was ready for then the owners not letting me in.
I phoned and said I’ve arrived for them to tell me to go away and they had cancelled my booking even though I received confirmation earlier that day.
I had no where to sleep so slept in the graveyard over the road as every hotel was fully booked for the Oasis concert that night.
The worst experience and worst bunch of people I’ve ever come across.
I still haven’t received my refund either.
Please do not and never even risk booking with these.
Complete waste of time and horrible people.
- Robert (1/5): Bad -
- Hinako (8/5): Very good -
- Jonathan (10/5): Excellent - Very quite and not busy street.. None
- Suliman (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (7/5): Family Home. Responsive Hostess. - Accurate listing.
Host very responsive to communication.
Room is at the back of the house away from road noise, so is quiet. On a very busy road, limited parking.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tyrese (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and peaceful Nothing I didn’t like at all
- Simon (2/5): Be honest - Unfortunately, at this time of year in the UK, I suffer with the cold weather, and the accommodation didn't have the heating or hot water on.
The accommodation is not what I thought, and you are living with a big family with young children.
The house was unbelievably noisy from 7 am until they left for school.
This wasn't for me, so I checked out at 9 am after the first night stay.
I was booked in for 3 nights.
I understand what the owner is doing and why, but they need to be more honest.
- Clark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Azelia (2/5): Rude unresponsive host and cold room! - There was Netflix. The host would not allow heating on, each time I tried to turn it on she would turn it off so I had to sleep in the cold. She did not respond to my queries via text and never answered my call when I was trying to get to the property, but as soon as I made a request on booking.com message she quickly responded. The room was cold and there was a summer duvet. I had to sleep curled up with the duvet over my head to try keep warm. There were kids making noise after 10pm at night and doors slamming. When I left the host shouted at me to book a hotel before slamming the door. The room was also advertised as a double but it was a small single. There was also cctv across the house right outside the bathroom! Would not come back again. She should advertise there is no heating. I don’t expect to pay for a room in the middle of winter and not have heat during the night, obviously the host wanted to save money, so she should not rent out your private home and charge people.
- Gabrielius (6/5): All basic needs met - All basics, clean property and bathroom. There was a TV set and boiler in the room, but did not use it. Even with pre-arranged time, the host was unable to answer the phone provided herself. Had to wait for a while for someone else to be let in.
Extremely small room.
Not the best location if traveling to the Piccadilly or Media City, quite a few bus transfers.
- Nasif (7/5): Good -
- Chiramel (8/5): Very good -
- Joshua (8/5): A very welcoming host with good facilities and a comfortable bed to stay in. - Very welcoming setting, and easy to use facilities. Able to get comfortable and use the bathroom as necessary. WiFi was also good, and free! (Included in the cost of the room) Also a quaint area of Manchester which I have not visited until now, and so it was a nice location. Despite slight confusion over parking, still had guaranteed space, and was just at the end of the road opposite the accommodation. Collection of key was easy, and dropping the key off as I left the property was just as easy. Family were also very kind, and the quiet chatter/movement here & there did not bother me. No major negative comments at all to note on, though there was a spot or two on my bed where I either saw a bug or some form of dirtyness. Not sure if that was a result of me however, as I saw no problems upon arrival. It is also my first time technically staying in someone's home, so that was something new that I had to adjust to!
- Tyrese (10/5): Exceptional - Location was convenient and the bed was super comfy

- Steven (5/5): Wasn't the cleanest place, kids clothing on floors, out of date milk and yoghurt in fridge - Bed was comfortable Location was poor. Inadequate public transport links to Manchester.nearest bus stop was 25 minutes walk. Local bus was about every hour and only went to Salford precinct where it's not advisable to visit and last bus was approx 8 30pm earlier on Sundays
- Lucien (10/5): Fine and very enjoyable - No breakfast , tea in room Nothing
- Mostafa (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (7/5): Good -
- Ian (3/5): Not for me. - At least the room seemed clean. I was basically a small family house, with the whole family living there. No sense of any privacy. There was a television in the room but it wasn't working. The place was in the middle of nowhere, the nearest eatery was 2.3 miles away and it was nowhere near Manchester
- Bill (7/5): Value for money comfortable room in family house - Very nice family house. Large comfortable room. Tea and coffee in the room. Great value for money Not much, great value
- William (9/5): Great wee location, lovely lady in Sophia. And made me welcome. Very helpful. Very comfy homely wee room. Netflix a b - Comfortable and easy access to Old Trafford.
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emmanuel (8/5): Very good - Its clean and nice
- John (9/5): Lovely host and a lovely nights sleep -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - I liked everything from the moment the host opened the door to let me into the property.
Warm welcome by a lovely woman. There was nothing I didn't like about staying at the property.
- Soja (9/5): Superb - The host is a lovely and open person, so willing to help. She even went out of her way (quite literally) to drop at a bus stop. What a kind soul!
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Sofia very friendly.
- Chelsea (7/5): Good -
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corrynne (5/5): Sort out the fire alarm battery! - Bus to Salford a few minutes from the door, bus into Manchester 15mins walk to other side of the river.
There are children in the house, hardly heard or saw them, they were lovely when I did come across them.
I believe that when everything is running as it should, this would be a good and safe place to stay. I stayed there 7 nights, the fire alarm low battery warning beeped the entire time I was there! The host said it was a non issue more than once, said she would get it fixed but didn't.
This cost me money, as I couldn't stand being in the kitchen where it was, so ate out the majority of the time. Slept with ear plugs in the otherwise quite house.
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional - Very confortable and clean room in new house, and lovely and very respectful little children. I would repeat.
- Nedley (8/5): Very good -
- Jeannette (8/5): Very good - My host was really helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room was small, but had everything I needed, was airy and the bed was comfortable. I had wifi, was able to park my car and was in a great location for getting out and about There was nothing I didn't like
- Mwanyanya (7/5): Good -
- Harry (7/5): For such a short stay, price was OK and location was ideal. - Host was willing to get up for my arrival at such a bad time, 3am in the morning. Host was polite and warm. Kids were a little noisy in the morning getting ready for school.
