- Gillian (8/5): Lovely accommodation in the heart of Beadnell village but definitely needs a deep clean. - Lovely, well furnished, modern house in a fantastic location. Great size for us 3 guests. In the heart of the village, close to pubs, cafes, church. Quality furnishings including towels bedding. Comfy beds. Enjoyed the small garden area at the back. Lots of board games too. It should have been cleaner. Lots of dust and dog hair, even dog hair on kitchen bench. Especially around all skirting boards and beading of laminate floor. Very dirty behind double bed when went to plug in to extension. Requires a deep clean. Mattress protector on double bed had stains on. Cream throw in lounge had dirty marks.

The original booking was in May 2024 but we changed it to March 2024 (out of season)as our daughter is due to have a baby at the end of April, but the cost increased by £200 ? The explanation was that energy costs had increased yet the energy price cap has reduced energy costs recently.
We loved Northumberland and will return possibly to Beadnell, but not to this cottage.
