• Teresa (10/5): Great Stay - This is a great location to the central train station. It is a safe place to be. The kitchen is big but lack supplies for cooking. Only the microwave and refrigerator work, but that was all we needed. The grocery store is near by. There is a bar downstairs, but we never heard anything. The room and bathrooms were clean.were clean It would be nice to have a trash can in the kitchen area.

• Kyt (8/5): Potential to be budget single room go-to in Syd - Very close to train station. Clean, comfortable bed. Aircon, desk, chair, lamp and window, no fan. Noise from bar below didn’t disturb. Wifi wasn’t working. Need a more secure process than visibly recording guest’s credit card number. Price could be a bit cheaper to be considered value for money.
• Sarah (10/5): Beyond excellent with some bumps - The location it was a couple of minutes' walk from Central and 15 minute walk from the gig I was attending and I was genuinely surprised by how much I loved my stay. And the bed was literally the best bed that I have ever slept on. And the staff were so exceptional and kind and friendly and there was no noise or any disturbance and that's a big thing that bugs me when staying in Sydney. I thought the room was a little small but I am a big person and I am going to stay here again whenever I stay in the inner city for concerts and this will be my number one place to stay. The Shower/bath I would recommend placing a bathroom mat for people who don't want to get their stuff wet on the floor. Unfortunately the WiFi didn't want to work for me I addressed it with the staff members. And unfortunately, my Key didn't want to work the door when I came back from my gig and I had to ask for help from the staff. I feel really bad for picking up on these things since I loved my stay.

Rudest ever when I asked about the hotel. Not a good first impression to tell the truth. But I know where it may come from.

I wish I'd known it didn't open until 10am. I arrived at 7am and assumed I'd be able to leave my luggage until checkin.

• Julien (4/5): Si c'est pour dormir allez ailleurs - Chambre propre et agréable, avec bouilloire, thé et café. La literie est confortable, et le personnel m'a permis d'accéder à la chambre deux heures plus tôt que prévu, ce qui est très sympa. Les douches et toilettes sont nettoyées chaque jour, malheureusement leur état dépend ensuite de la bonne éducation des autres résidents. Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais un bar ouvert jusqu'à 4h du matin qui propose des chambres au 1er étage. Celles qui donnent sur la rue sont extrêmement bruyantes : simple vitrage, carrefour très passant, motos qui pétaradent toute la nuit, on entend comme si la fenêtre était ouverte. Pire, le bar organise des concerts du jeudi au samedi à partir de 22h et jusque tard la nuit. Cette fois les boules Quies ne suffisent plus. Selon les concerts il est impossible de dormir tant le son est puissant et le plancher vibre. J'ai vécu une nuit blanche épouvantable et ai préféré finir mon séjour dans un autre hébergement pour pouvoir faire ce qu'on attend d'une chambre : dormir.

• Robyn (8/5): Great location, clean, spacious and good shared amenities. Will be staying there again. - The bedrooms were huge and nice and simple. The shared bathrooms and kitchen were clean and new. Lots of power points and thoughtfully supplied power board. The showers leaked water and the doors were squeaky. So you could hear people coming and going through the night. If the venue supplied a little plastic squeegee to mop up the water that would be good. Too much water to use the bath towel. The wet towels would end up in the carpeted bedroom which would not be wise. No lift. But that was advertised. Don’t like 2.00pm check in.

• Peter (8/5): Bring ear plugs/rain sound in phone and eye covers and it’s a good place to stay - More hostel like than hotel. The rooms I had was small, simple, comfy and cool. There are sitting areas, with fridges. I didn’t use these. Had an issue in my room, which the staff, listened to, and fixed when they could. (Though I did have to ask about it a few times before repair was able to be completed.) Lots of restaurants in area. Most of the time they are fine, although the day I arrived (Wednesday) nearby George Street was jam packed about 4pm. There’s a lot of light st night. Eye covering helps you get to sleep. The accomodation is over two floors above the bar. There is some soundproofing. But the acts that play at night can be heard. Was worst on Friday as instead of finishing by 11:00pm it had only really got started.

• Evgeniya (6/5): - The room had clean linen, complimentary bottles of water, coffee and tea plus milk. The aircon worked wonderfully. The location is great of course. The separate lounge area with a kitchen was a huge plus. The noise from the busy street was a problem as expected (we had to use noise cancelling headphones to sleep). Kitchen appliances were not connected so couldn't cook there but we didn't intend to anyway.

• ian (2/5): WONT GO THERE AGAIN - DIDNT BOTHER The booking in procedure required a photo id in spite of handing over my credit card, banking card, pension card, health card, travel card, they told me that what i produced was insufficient. After making more than 60 phone calls and travelling across town by cab to secure id from govt source which was unsuccessful, a friend sent a copy of my drivers licence. they then took my credit card to a back office returning with an indemnity form to be signed. NEVER AGAIN

It was a let down. I will stay there again as it doesn't bother me too much that they didn't want me there. And Netflix etc didn't work in my room.

• Raine (8/5): Affordable - I had the single bed with bathroom. I love that it's centrally located, affordable. It was clean and cosy, with kettle, WiFi TV. Two of the nights live music. One night no disturbance to my sleep but on the last night it was so loud it was difficult to get yo sleep. Also I didn't like that bins weren't emptied daily, but I managed.

• Shane (5/5): Stay here if you want convenience to public transport. - The location was the reason I chose this place, just a few hundred metres from Central station. Tiny room.Tea and Coffee was provided in the room but no means to fill the kettle. Down stairs was a kitchen area with both stove and oven not connected I would call this budget accommodation with a luxury price.
