• Julie (6/5): Okay but no gold star - Reasonable property, for 4 people, in a quiet location. Pool area was pleasant. Pool maintained a reasonable temperature. Good communication from the host/manager to check arrival and keep us informed when issues arose with pool pump. Nice to have a washing machine and a dishwasher. Our stay was okay but could have been a lot better. There was black mould in the ensuite bathroom and the main bedroom was a little damp and fusty. Duvet cover on double bed needs replacing or repairing, seam is split. Tiny holes in the bottom sheet also. No guest information provided regarding the location of the nearest supermarket or restaurants. Would have also been useful if information on the local bus route was available...cost/timetable/location of bus stop etc... and the exact location of the nearest rubbish and recycling bins. A "welcome pack" would have been appreciated...a bottle of water, milk, maybe some bread and butter, tea and coffee. Arriving later in the evening then having to source basic provisions was not ideal. A "tea towel" would have been useful. (There were a couple of cloths but thought these were for general cleaning not dish drying). The garden needs attention, lots of weeds which made it look unloved. We didn't want to BBQ which was just as well as it wasn't usable, grills were rusty.

• Amanda (9/5): Idyllic villa for a family stay - The location was perfect - quiet and private but a beautiful 10-min walk to nearby restaurants. Plus there was a supermarket a few mins away. We loved the heated pool. There was a problem on our second day with the heating but Juan had a technician out ASAP even though it was Xmas. He was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay, which we really appreciated. We had the best time exploring the nearby beaches and driving to the north of the island to visit the cactus garden and caves, then returning back to the villa, which is well shielded from the wind, to laze in the sun by the pool and lovely garden while the kids played. Bliss! The beds and pillows were really comfortable and proper blackout blinds meant we all slept well. The outdoor furniture was well-maintained and we ate most meals outside. A few more breakfast bowls and another chopping board would have been useful. A fitted sheet for the main bed would also be nice. Very minor things.

The pool was perfect, a little cold but didn't affect us. The host was really friendly and checked in with us regularly - loved it here The back sliding door mechanism was a little hard to use

• Rebecca (10/5): - The villa was in a lovely, quiet area with a row of shops/restaurants 10 minutes walk away and a 10 minute drive from the main stretch of Playa Blanca. Everywhere was spotless when we arrived, and the pool was cleaned throughout our stay. Juan was lovely and kept in touch regularly via WhatsApp and even accommodated us a late check-in, which took the stress away from our last day. We would definitely return! Thank you. Nothing.

Easy communication with host at any time. Easy to find and collect keys. Quiet area. Comfy beds and sunbeds. Fully equipped. All you need is suncream. Nothing.

• Alan (8/5): Family New Year holiday. - A nice villa in a very quiet residential area, a few bars, restaurants, and supermarkets within a ten minute walk. Also, a stone throw away from the sea front in which you can walk straight into Playa Blanca centre, which is roughly an hours stroll. The villa itself was quite spacious for 3 adults with a nice pool and outside dining area, we had great communication with the management team throughout. This was before we arrived during the stay and after. They also allowed us to stay until mid-afternoon on the day of checkout with was an added bonus as we didn't fly until 18.30. I would highly recommend this villa if you want a quiet gettaway to relax from every day hustle and bustle. I didn't realise how far out from the centre the villa was located, but that's my fault for not researching properly, I just wanted a villa to go to for the new year. The one main dislike for me was the lack of taxi's available each night, having to que at the taxi rank for 40-50 minutes to try and get home, I have never experienced this on my previous visits to Playa Blanca.

• Christopher (9/5): Perfect Villa in a nice area of Playa Blanca - Enjoyed the Villa location, the well kept pool and the overall experience & value. Hot water sometimes insufficient - but I understand the limitations involved.
• Matthew (9/5): Overall 8-9/10 experience in the villa. Would 100% come back. Just a few teething problems which I noted. Small moan - Beautiful clean and comfortable villa. Tv could do with English channels if u are after that, we didn’t use the tv so didn’t mind. Just thinking if people take kids. Has YouTube and Netflix etc though. Space outside was lovely, could do with more shade during the afternoon hours (not complaining full sun from morning to evening) . We used the parasol but it broke, again just accident so no negative on property behalf but an area with more shade is probably needed as windy island parasol struggles. Dish washer stopped working second to last day, again things happen so can’t say it was a negative. Bedrooms clean and comfortable, air con handy during the night. Sun loungers now have straps so no problem there! WiFi awesome. Kitchen cookers fridge freezer all appliances great washing machine etc … Overall a lovely stay! I’m unsure the pool got cleaned during our stay, confirmation of when the pool cleaners come is needed for customers I’d say. Pool was fine up to about last 1/2 days of our 12 day stay. Better driving instructions needed for entrance, hard to see and find in dark for night arrivals as entrance isn’t on front of property from the road address. Then lots of entrances down the back road . Couldn’t see villa writing on back of wall, again if told what to look out for would make it easier for everyone .
• Fiona (9/5): Lovely relaxing break good clean villa and pool. - Location was quiet. Close to amenities shop and beach promenade and restaurants. Kitchen lacked a few items. Pizza cutter another oven tray and shelf. Would have been nice to have some dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid, sink plug or basin to wash up. Did get a plug from the lovely maintenance man Leonardo when he was there for another small issue. Sun lounger cushion straps were broken so didn’t stay on when sat upright and with the wind.
• Zoe (6/5): We’ve come to local villas once or twice a year for 10 years and have never not had a number of someone to call if probl - Very comfy beds Sheets on bed not deep enough so every time you move they come off. Kitchen was very Ill equipped, no bread knife and most annoying no chopping boards, Uk tv didn’t work just said scrambled. No change is sheets and towels in 11 days, pool was checked 1 day after we arrived and needed nothing doing but never returned again and pool was dirty with green stuff forming on bottom and water level was way below filter level (I have pic), sunbed cushions had no straps so shot off every time you sat down. Made it worse pool man turned up 8am on leaving day and cleaned pool and put straps on sunbed obviously getting it ready for new people.
