• Neil (10/5): Historic Country House Hospitality at its Best - Wonderful Country House Estate B&B stay near the Mourne Mountains AONB. Lots of fantastic places to dine locally. Wonderful host and superb breakfasts which included poached pears and rhubarb from the garden and the most delicious smoked salmon. Very comfortable bed in a beautiful bedroom.

• Karen (9/5): Great stopover. Recommend this as a quiet getaway. - Simone gave such a warm welcome and we left with a great homecooked breakfast inside. We got a bit lost and it wasn't obvious we had found the House. Saying this, part of the charm of this house is its location

The house is stunning, the breakfast was beautiful with so many home made bits that were all delicious. We got married in Finnebrogue and we had our getting ready photos taken around the property. We will definitely be back!

• Kerry (10/5): Glorious to wake up in an old, elegant room overlooking gardens and trees - A delightful, old house set within rambling gardens, beautifully preserved and maintained by Simone, an amazing and generous host. Charming, quite a privilege to spend a few nights in this glorious house. Nothing.

• Alan (8/5): Go back in time with a visit to this old country home. - Lovely old (very old - historic) country farm house. Proprietor is a lovely English woman who was extremely friendly and even went out of her way to make us gluten free goodies for our room. Very clean and well kept inside. Proprietor went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was very nice We were fine with this - but you should know that since the house is quite old, not all the rooms have stand up showers. If that feature is important to you, please request one when booking. We actually enjoyed the hand held shower head in the tub harkening back to a very different time.

Nothing, would loved to have stayed longer! Welcome and comfort perfect, next visit shall explore gardens.

The beds weren't the most luxurious and sturdier solid beds would have been more fitting for the style and decor of the property but that's a minor detail. We slept well.
