- Alan (8/5): Go back in time with a visit to this old country home. - Lovely old (very old - historic) country farm house. Proprietor is a lovely English woman who was extremely friendly and even went out of her way to make us gluten free goodies for our room. Very clean and well kept inside. Proprietor went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was very nice We were fine with this - but you should know that since the house is quite old, not all the rooms have stand up showers. If that feature is important to you, please request one when booking. We actually enjoyed the hand held shower head in the tub harkening back to a very different time.
