Guest Reviews
- Paul (8/5): - Quiet location Surprised there was no cooker
- Pearl (10/5): - Location is brilliant...loads of walks and runs from the door. It's so well equipped and the garden is gorgeous. Bathroom is stunning too. Really enjoyed my stay. Bed was a little soft for me, because I get back ache easily.
- Clive (10/5): Unique little gem - Unique ,great value, cosy very clean great facilities near to good road networks local shopping centres Only thing it lacked in my opinion was a bath but I’m probably in a minority so over all can’t fault it
- Ray (9/5): Great stay in newly refurbished apartment - Everything Nothing
- Alana (10/5): -
- Ajay (10/5): - Beautifully executed property! Lovely ambience upon arrival with music playing and exquiste scents
- Tiffany (8/5): Overall I would stay again, the place was beautiful and I’d happily park my car on the road to avoid the bird poo situat - The property was lovely, nice and private. Bed was comfy and the sofa reclined so we could watch films comfortably.
The host left fresh milk in the fridge and a selection of coffee, tea and snacks.
The bathroom has recently been renovated and is lovely and fresh.
The host messaged us to ensure we’d checked in and even gave us an hour or so extra to check out due to me doing a running race and needing to return for a shower which was very kind of them!
Lovely pub around the corner called the Brown Cow. We loved the property and would definitly return however we kept coming across a few flies in the annex, no matter how many times we got rid of them, a couple would come back.
As I said the bathroom was lovely and new , but the privacy of the bathroom door is limited due to it being a sliding door, and if staying with friends or a new partner your not 100% comfortable with them hearing you in the bathroom that could be an embarassing issue!
Only other thing to comment on is that I had my car washed the day prior to arriving and I don’t know what the birds eat in that area but their poo was like you’d dropped a water balloon filled with it on my car and especially all over the driveway too, but I’d just park on the road next time away from the tree’s.
- Cheryl (7/5): - Cute & well styled granny annex. Space was very clevely used. Good quality poducts left out e.g. the handwash, hand lotion, utensils etc.
Welcome ambiance of soft music playing & fairy lights and lighted tea light was such a lovely touch.
Convenient location for my needs.
Lovely selection of teas , discuits, & fresh milk left out.
Parking was a massive bonus but I used the on the street parking as advised by previous reviews. Big bath without a plug or taps so you can only use it as a shower.
Outside area was nothing like the pictures, very disapointing to look at. Host stated they only set it up during spring/summer. It was an eye-sore though.
Motion Ssnsors in the bedroom and walkways that kinda shocked me at night with the red light flicking at me, while in bed🫣
Kitchenette is a microwave oven.

- Jan (10/5): - Very comfortable bed. Everything you need for a short stay. Great location for getting to and from other places and walking the dog at Templenewsam Kitchen sink very small
- Jason (7/5): - Nice rooms, off street parking, quiet Was no breakfast although it was in the booking.
Only one big towel for 2 people and not changed daily, Bed too small, and cobwebs behind the headboard h
- Kathleen (10/5): Best o/n stay enroute home - It was very well situated for dog walking. Loved that there was fresh milk in fridge, tea, coffee and morning biscuits/cakes.. It was very comfortable and the bath towel was super fluffy There was nothing to not like, parking was on quite an incline but that's just the way it is . Personally would just park on the road next time. So not really an issye
- Ray (9/5): Great place to stay for work - Another great stay for work Nothing
- Ray (9/5): Like home from home with everything you need at hand - Like a little home from home with everything you need when staying away for work. I could make my own food and didn’t need to eat out and be unhealthy. Nice pub nearby and a quiet local area. Spotless, hot shower, sky tv, bookcase of various titles, music playing on arrival and a very comfy bed. Very impressed- already booked again Nothing it was great
- Cliff (9/5): A wonderful surprise - A beautiful apartment with excellent, clean and new facilities. Fresh milk, tea, coffee and cakes. Flawless… Nothing to not like
- Phil (10/5): - What a great little find! Absolutely ideal, and had everything in it that we could've wanted. Will definitely return.
- Rhona (10/5): - Very comfortable for me. Ideal for travellers with a dog
- Philmtb (10/5): Exceeded all our expectations! - We really loved this property from the moment we walked in with gentle music playing and all the neat little touches that make all the difference to a stay.
- Lizzie (10/5): - Beautiful hidden gem, the apartment is done to a very high standard and the outside area is beautiful. The bed was so comfy I had a fantastic night's sleep. I would definitely stay here again
- Slavin (10/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): Fabulous property - A fabulous property. Small but perfectly formed.
The outside area was a bonus and well used during our short visit
- Becky (9/5): Gorgeous little place! - The bed was very comfy, the outdoor part was lovely! Very comfy, with a TV, blankets and lovely decor. The skylight in the little front room was lovely, as was the little kitchen. The shower was great too. Everything was left for us to make tea and coffee, including fresh milk in the fridge. Gorgeous little place. We would stay here again! The ONLY thing: no plug for the amazing, huge bath, which I was gutted about!
- Paul (10/5): - The apartment was all on the ground floor. It was particularly attractive in its finish and furnishings and very comfortable. The covered outdoor area and courtyard were a little gem and great to lounge in with a glass of wine. Has its own parking space. Everything about the apartment was great. With having to recharge a scooter battery each day, it was difficult to take the battery from the car to the apartment. Also a bit difficult to find with only the driver looking out for it. But we'll worth it (a little gem

- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): What a great find in Leeds!!! - The apartment was perfect for our needs. I loved all the little touches from the Purdy and Fig cleaning products to the variety of teas and coffee. The Alexa speaker was on playing lovely music when we arrived. The apartment itself was spotless and had everything we needed including quality linens and comfortable pillows. There was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, make up remover wipes and a variety of other items that made our stay perfect. Highly recommend if staying in area. Definitely better than Premier Inn, which is not far. Just a minor comment that did not spoil our stay, but there are trees around and obviously they bring birds; if it were my place I would wipe down the gate and check other areas for little droppings. Apart from that, it is a beautiful place and very thoughtfully done.
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Jackie (9/5): Great accommodation for single traveller or couple. - Very comfortable, very clean. Great location for dog walks and manageable commute to York
- Ady (8/5): Very good - The place was spotless every thing I needed The drive was quite steep to get in. The drive and the patio area was covered in bird crap. Also I was attending a car show in Sherburn in Elmet and in the morning my car was covered in bird crap very dissatisfied with that as I had specifically told the host I had a show car they must know of the problem as the place is covered in bird crap
- Sandi (10/5): Lovely, cosy property with everything you need for a short stay. - Private entrance, parking space, nice furnishings & cosy. Everything you need for a 1-2 day stay. The tv reception wasn’t good & we couldn’t get a signal on any terrestrial channels. Fortunately we were going out & didn’t need to use it for any length of time.
- Sara (10/5): Super comfy & cosy stay! - Perfect remote location with temple newsam park literally on your doorstep. Warm & cosy place with really comfy recliner sofa and a super comfortable bed! Nice and clean, easy check in, lovely breakfast bits and friendly host. Will definitely book again when visiting the area!
- Gaynor (6/5): Letdown - Location To cluttered,tv kept going off wifi signal not good. Not what I expected definitely not stables 🤣
- Naveed (10/5): Exceptional -
