• luca (9/5): - vicina a 2 linee di metro(rossa e gialla) e 1 di bus che porta direttamente a piccadilly, molti negozi bar o ristoranti. appartamento con 1 camera con 1 letto matrimoniale e 1 singolo più un'altra stanza con 1 letto singolo. sala con divano tavolo e tv(senza canali live ma solo netflix ecc) piccola cucina attrezzata ma mai usata. Contatto costante tramite whatsapp con i gestori per qualunque esigenza. Enorme centro commerciale a 5 minuti a piedi il bagno ha bisogno di alcuni piccoli lavori per poter rendere il soggiorno veramente stupendo l'asta della doccia sta per rompersi, dal water c'è una piccola perdita d'acqua, la maniglia esterna della porta sta per rompersi. Sono tutti piccoli lavori che comporterebbero mezza giornata per essere sistemati ma porterebbero la valutazione ancora più in alto. il nostro appartamento era al 3 piano senza ascensore ma in zona le case sono tutte così.
• Lucy (10/5): Ideally located, friendly staff, perfect for when you’re not spending too much time there - The property hosts are very friendly and very easy to communicate if there were to be any issues (we lost our luggage on the flight over and they accepted the delivery for us so we could still go out and enjoy London) the apartment we had suited our needs, good water pressure, in the winter a good heating system and very close by to 2 underground’s plus lots of bus stops near by. Would stay there again if I was to visit London It’s not a case of ‘we didn’t like it’ its more for other people awareness that it’s up a few flights of stairs so it’s not accessible but it didn’t cause any problem for us

• Lena Anna (9/5): - Super Lage, total netter und schneller Kontakt mit den Gastgebern :) Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Betten unfassbar bequem, wie im guten hotel. Sehr ruhig für London und gut angebunden durch 2 U-bahn stationen, der overground und zahlreichen bussen. Sainsbury direkt daneben, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Würden uns immer wieder für Charmstay entscheiden. Die Heizung im bad ist super gefährlich!! Hat uns öfter am knie verbrannt (rote stellen die noch stunden gebrannt haben, und das trotz nur millisekunden der berührung) da sie direkt an der Toilette ist. Man kann sie nicht einstellen und entweder sie ist eiskalt oder brennend heiß. Haben wir angemerkt und es sollte jemand kommen der sich das anschaut. Wir haben leider nicht mitbekommen dass jemand da war… wenn man mit kindern verreist definitiv ein wichtiger aspekt. Aber konnte man gut mit einem Handtuch abdecken. Trotzdem ein Punkt der definitiv gefixxt werden muss, das erste mal als wir uns beide so verbrannt haben mussten wir danach den ganzen nachmittag/ Abend im Zimmer bleiben weil unsere haut so weh tat!

• Jessica (8/5): - Apartamento muy amplio y limpio. La manager súper atenta y pendiente de que todo estuviera bien. Muy bien comunicado con la principal línea de metro. Los colchones eran muy incómodos.
• alessandra (9/5): Ringrazio la nostra host Lucy per la gentilezza e disponibilità - Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento con due camere da letto. Ha risposto perfettamente alle mie aspettative. Comodo, spazioso, pulito (non c'è moquette) e ben collegato sia con metro (due diverse fermate) che con bus. La cucina, ben equipaggiata, dispone anche di macchinetta a capsule per il caffè, bollitore, tostapane e forno a microonde. Tavolo da stiro, stendino, ferro e asciugacapelli. Letti comodi con caldi piumini e ottimo riscaldamento. Abbiamo trovato delle capsule di caffè, marmellatine, qualche bustina di the e questo è stato molto gradito. Nelle vicinanze (5 minuti a piedi) un enorme centro commerciale con una quantità di negozi e ristoranti. Molti servizi anche sulla stessa via della casa... La strada su cui affaccia la camera da letto singola è piuttosto rumorosa anche a tarda sera

• Doc (8/5): Shepherds Bush stay - Great location near tube and shops and large shopping centre with food outlets. It felt safe to walk about. Nice tray with coffee Pods, biscuits, jam etc nice touch. Easy to get in get keys. Good value for money. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Thank you. Kept in touch checking all was well. It was warm. No window but a fire exit door that could be opened. Just be aware 3 flights of stairs to room fine if you are fit. Hard if more senior with heavy case. Ok for me but caution for others! Bedside lamp electric lead not long enough to use at bedside- please extend? The fire exit is a thin ladder on a wall its high up not everyone could use it - again ok if younger, fitter. The railings to get to it are high would make it hard/awkard to get over railings. A small gate would be better but may not be possible as 3rd floor and risk of falling. Nonetheless I am not sure an older person could use the escape tbh. If younger/ fitter - likely fine. Just to be aware if you are a bit more senior. . Unless you do yoga lots!

Gestori gentilissimi e disponibilissimi per ogni tipo di suggerimento. - Niente ascensore per un terzo piano (non specificato) - appartamento storto (infatti le porte si chiudono da sole perchè in pendenza) - manca un comodino comodo vicino al matrimoniale - poca pulizia - ho dovuto richiedere altra carta igienica (4 giorni, 4 persone, due rotoli....)

The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and communication with them was excellent—quick, clear, and friendly. The location is fantastic, close to transport links and shops, which made everything very convenient. I highly recommend this place!
• Martina (8/5): Comodo soggiorno in ottima posizione a Londra ! - La posizione e la vicinanza alle stazioni metropolitane (sia central line, da un lato, che metropolitan & district line, dall’altro), la tranquillità e silenziosità dell’alloggio. La presenza della cucina con l’attrezzatura necessaria per poter cucinare. Bagno un po’ datato, sarebbe bello se fosse ammodernato e messo qualche appendino in più a parete.

It's basically a small 3 room flat It is a typical English flat with poor windows, you feel the shaking of the underground passing. The flat is old and worn, meaning the floor, the bathroom, the windows, the walls need fixing. The bath and kitchen are tiny. The toaster is disgusting and should be thrown away. There are spider webs on the ceiling of the bedroom. The TV has no live TV, no channels and you need your own Netflix account in order to watch TV! The drawer is broken. From the price and the pictures I expected a nicer flat. It's not that it isn't a good place to stay for a couple of days, but I expected a renovated flat, that's all.

• Mandy (8/5): 1. Mal London - Perfekter Mutter/Sohn Städtetrip - Zentrale Lage mit guter Anbindung an U-Bahn. Unzählig viele Essens Möglichkeiten in der Straße. Wir hatten nur eine große Bettdecke und haben auf Nachfrage sofort 2 Einzeldecken bekommen. Somit musste mein 14-jähriger Sohn nicht mit mir zusammen unter einer Decke schlafen 😆 Das Bett war etwas zu schmal. Wir haben es an die Wand geschoben, damit man zumindest auf der einen Seite nicht rausfallen konnte. Im Bad war ein Sockel vor der Dusche, wo ich mehrmals mit dem Fuß dran gestoßen bin. Ein paar Haken zum Aufhängen haben im Bad gefehlt.

The host was thoughtful and helpful when we locked ourselves out of the flat. They are friendly and offered to keep our luggage for a while after checking out. London's hard water!

Comfortable beds, very very easy and prompt communication with the hosts for any of our needs. It would be nice to have an elevator in the space just to add comfort.

• Hélène (9/5): Un excellent rapport qualité prix, bien situé et parfait comme point de départ pour visiter la ville - L'emplacement était parfait car près de 2 stations de métro et d'un centre d'achats. On pouvait se déplacer facilement d'un bout à l'autre de la ville. Fournir des linges pour nettoyer le comptoir de la cuisine après avoir fait la vaisselle serait un plus. On s'est dépanné autrement, mais cela aurait été plus facile si cela aurait été fourni.

• Angel (6/5): Perfect location near metro and Westfield Mall, great host, but unpleasant bedroom smell. - Location is on a perfect spot for traveling. Metro is nearby. Host was very cooperative and supportive. Thank you for that. Very close to Westfield Mall. Good opportunities for eating in the area. Smell in the main bedroom is terrible which comes from the nearby pub/restaurant. You cannot open the window without feeling all kind/types of smells from that kitchen. The entrance stairs was not well cleaned.
• Sara (9/5): Appartamento ideale per visitare Londra! - Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dell'appartamento: piccolo, ma dotato di tutto il necessario. Si trova vicino ad un centro commerciale enorme, il Westfield, ed è ben collegato con tutti i mezzi di trasporto, rendendo facile raggiungere qualsiasi destinazione. Inoltre sotto casa si trovano supermercati e negozi di qualsiasi tipo. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero ottimo, soprattutto considerando che a Londra i prezzi sono generalmente più alti. Un valore aggiunto è stato il supporto di Lucy, sia prima che durante il soggiorno. Lo consiglio a chi desidera vivere appieno Londra a un prezzo accessibile, senza pretese di lusso.

• SARA (9/5): En pleno centro, y con todo lo que puedas necesitar - El anfitrión, siempre dispuesto, y la localización Que no se puede ver la tele normal, vamos, lo que ven los ingleses. Sólo hay un dispositivo para ver plataformas (lo mismo que tengo en mi casa)
• Andre (9/5): Good place and location. Lots of convenient places nearby. - Close to two train stations. One about 5 min away and the other about a 10 min walk. The location was great, with a little market literally downstairs, which was great and super convenient. There is also a big Westfield shopping mall right around the corner, literally a less than 10 minute walk so there are all kinds of restaurants and stores at your convenience. The size of the place was just fine and the living room was good as well. Nice kitchen with refrigerator. No air-conditioning. We were there during a very warm period end of June. (We did know that this place didn't have air conditioning beforehand.) However, the one room that I was in I had to keep the window closed because it opens just a little too wide, and mosquitoes and bugs were coming in, so the room was quite warm. Aside from this, I would definitely still recommend this place.

• Stefania (7/5): Good - The apartment was clean and well connected to transport. Westfields mall and restaurants handy. The area at night doesn't look safe. The furniture inside the flat is old and damaged.
• Traveller98 (8/5): Very good - Communication throughout the whole process; from checking in, asking questions and checking out went fast and smoothly. The host was understanding, kind and also provided clear instructions on checking in (think about sending pictures/videos). The location was great, it's near at least two metro stations, a field and shops are literally next door. The room was small and clean + it had pretty much everything you needed. For me personally I missed a shelf or two in the bathroom to stall out my make-up/skincare bottles. Same for the shower, one small shelf would be perfect for keeping a couple of items considering I'd rather not put them on the floor. (As I used a "soap" bar for my shower routine, I had no place to let the soap dry other than the floor)

• Vissia (9/5): Superb - Self check in is very efficient even if you are arriving late at night. The building is very close to 2 tube stations and there are buses to city centre. The apartment is essentially decorated. There's a welcoming living room with a big tv and the kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Lucy is much more than helpful during the stay and always in touch. Bedrooms are a bit noisy because overlooking the street which is very busy at night. The toilet needs restyling, the bath is not very functional.
• Catrina (10/5): Great stay in Shepherd's Bush! - Even from before we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by Lucy's friendliness and availability. She was super helpful and easy to communicate with, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated the option of leaving our luggage at the location before check-in, even if we ended up not taking advantage of it in the end. I liked a lot of things, the location is great, close to the underground and easy to access. Close to Shepherd's Bush Station, Shepherd's Bush Market, and at a stretch Hammersmith (it's a lovely area to walk in). The apartment is roomy enough, though we didn't spend much time in it. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and I enjoyed the amenities (fridge, ability to brew my own coffee in the morning, etc.). Loads of restaurants/shops around, with Sainsbury's right at the building entrance. We stayed for four days and it was great. Not as loud and busy as the city centre, but also very close to anything we might've needed and good service/apartment. Would highly recommend. Nothing. Everything was great.

• Catherine (7/5): Good - I liked the location and that it was close to public transport and shopping/restaurants This flat was on the 2nd floor and the stairs were steep. Also, the shower in the bath had no rails or anything to hold onto
• Travelling (9/5): Perfect location for Television Centre - The location was excellent, the process to check in and out was flawless and the staff were incredibly friendly. The toilet started to run in the night which woke me but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

• David (7/5): Good - The apartment, though very small, was cozy and well-located (it’s close to central stations, has many cafes and restaurants around, is near Lidl, and about 20 minutes from Notting Hill). It had a coffee machine, mini fridge, kettle, and microwave, which is definitely a plus. The heating also worked very well. The bathroom was too small, especially the sink; the bedroom had limited natural light and few outlets. There are no outlets near the bed, so it was impossible to have a bedside lamp. There is also little storage space, and the Wi-Fi signal wasn’t the best, as we occasionally lost internet connection.

• Alan (4/5): Disappointing - The place was clean. The host tried to accomodate our concerns. The apartment we had was poorly ventilated. The shower leaked and there was no window in the bathroom and the exhaust fan did not work. The room smelled bad and we ultimately left and checked into a hotel. There is no way of safely opening a window in the apartment at night.
• Vladimir (8/5): Very good - Good location, very good connection to the public transport (several Metro lines and buses), enormous shopping mall (if you arei nterested in this) and many other shops. The host is really nice and responsive by chat. The apartment was clean has everything you actually need for a city trip :) The building is quite old so if you look for a luxury, this is probably not your place. There was a constant noise all day (and night) long (may be from a big air conditioning or someth. similar)
• Pauliina (8/5): Very good - Great location and clean room. Shower with nice, warm water with good pressure. Especially the host's communication was very nice and caring, making sure everything was alright. Location was perfect with grocery store downstairs. Would visit there again! The pillows were thin and hard, but we could manage. We were there at carnival time and other guests were not very respectful to others - playing music loud at night and early morning. But it's difficult to influence that.
• Maureen (1/5): Be wary - Nothing The way it was advertised as a hotel when obviously not one. There was no staff. There was no lift, only unsafe stairs. Room not as shown in photos. No soundproofing. It was so bad we walked away and found another hotel to stay in.

This, I felt, was too long to be using the same towel. We were there for two weeks

• Chiu (6/5): Pleasant - The location is very good which is nearby underground and bus stations. Various restaurants and supermarket nearby. The apartment is clean and tidy although it is a little bit old. The owner is very nice and the instruction of key collection is clear. My booked appointment supposed with wash machine but it was out of order. The owner is very helpful and let the clean lady to pick up our dirty clothes to wash and hang up for us. He also return some GBP to us. So sweet and kind. Thank you. The building is a little bit old.

• Antoine (9/5): Great stay ! - The location is great, communication with the property manager was excellent, they made sure everything was ok. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen had all the appliances one would need, the bed was very comfy. A lot of shops and restaurant literally around the corner ! There was like a low-pitched noise throughout the noise, probably coming from downstairs Sainsbury's fan system, that made it a bit difficult to sleep. A few things were not functioning properly but that wasn't an issue at all and did not impact my stay at all.

• Daniel (6/5): A great centrally located launching pad for London - Fantastic location, with an easy check in-check out process. They were super accommodating, allowing us to drop off bags before the apartment was ready. Not super flash, but good value, clean and with fast WIFI. Ventilation and cooling were a bit of a challenge as London was hot when we stayed.

• Johnny (8/5): Open up the courtyard on floor 2 for your guests - Good location, close to undergrounds stations, and shops and restaurants Feel free to clean up the alley below from smelly food, so the window can be open for ventilation.

• Janaina (8/5): Very good - The location was fantastic, close to shops and transport . The apartment was well equipped i haven't missed a thing. In spite of being functional the bathroom does need some repairs and perhaps a lime scale treatment in the shower would also be beneficial.
• Hon (8/5): Very good - The location was really convenient with a large mall (Westfield) right behind with tons of shopping and good food. There are also 2 Underground stations within 5mins walk! Beds and living room were comfortable. Well outfitted kitchenette. The toilet had a couple of broken bits (shower pole and towel rack). It was a little inconvenient but alright overall! I also thoroughly washed the kettle as there was a bit of build up (boiled water was a little cloudy before the deep clean).

• Billingham (7/5): Cheap and cheerful with a very comfy bed - The bed and bedding were fabulously comfortable! The shower water was hot. I love that places like this exist, offering simple, comfortable options between the expensive hotels. It could do with some renovation, but not if that would cause any significant price increase. If you want somewhere easy and cheap to sleep, with a fridge and kitchen to save more money (vs eating out) then this is a great option. Don't expect luxury or home-from-home vibes and you'll have a great stay. Located a couple of minutes from Central & Circle Line tubes, Westfield / White City for shops & restaurants. The communal stairs have that special London smell - damp, old carpets, gel air freshners trying to cover it up.
• Mark (7/5): The property is ideal for a great family visit to London for a week. - Good connections. Convenient Sainsbury’s downstairs. Noisy area, but didn’t impact us much. Could do with a bit of modernisation.
