• Haywood (9/5): - Property was clean and there are plenty of towels. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of sockets. Would have been to have more kitchen facilities. Possibly an air fryer, however, I understand the difficulties with cleaning there not being a kitchen sink.
• Ilona Isabel J (9/5): Klein maar fijn - Eigen entree. Alles was super schoon. Hele fijne douche. Kaptafel. Privé parking. Melk in de koelkast en een opstart mandje met lekkers. Fijn plekje voor een aantal dagen. Afwassen was een beetje behelpen.

• Linsey (9/5): Pure blissful comfort - Stunning little pad 🌟 superbly decorated, super clean and very comfortable. Lots of little extras and all our needs were met! Lovely and private. Owners were friendly as were their dogs....love a bark welcome and tail wag! 🐕 was nice to see the horses around too. 🐴 would absolutely recommend and we will be back 🙌 One little issue was the tv, WiFi randomly disconnected and it froze every now and again and the remote was not very reaponsive but nothing major.
• andrew (9/5): Great stay in the Scottish countryside - Beautiful location so peaceful. It was super clean and the shower was lovely and hot. Great instructions on how to get there especially in the dark. Friendly owner who communicated well on messages and allowed us to stay 1 hour later on check out due to the bad weather. The mattress was uncomfortable, felt like several springs had broken underneath. A thick mattress topper would have done the trick. Also the curtains didn't completely fit the windows letting light in, a blackout blind would be great like the one on the velux.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Fantastic overnight stay at Kirkton Rest. - We had a lovely overnight stay at Kirkton Rest. The apartment was exceptional clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Andrea for the welcome basket. Would definitely recommend. Could not fault a thing.
• Karen (5/5): Not expensive but not the best place for senior citizens to stay. - It was clean. Not easily accessible as you have to haul luggage a fair distance from the car park. The stair treads in the room were a little narrow especially at the bottom. This made it very difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. The mattress was not comfortable. To use the bathroom in the middle of the night you had to walk down the stairs (there were lights on the stairs which helped.) All-in-all, not the best place for people in their 70s to stay.

• Kathleen (10/5): Just what I needed - I needed somewhere peaceful and quiet as I booked this trip to have some time alone. It was perfect for that. Beautiful place with lovely views. Went on a superb walk around the farmland. Hosts went over and above to make me feel welcome. There was even a little basket with some treats which I couldn't have unfortunately as I'm on a little health diet at the moment. Nothing. With such beautiful views, I would have loved a high stool to sit on so I could look out the windows more, but that's it really.

• Jayne (10/5): A fabulous overnight in a lovely location. - The property was in a beautiful location and was very clean. Comfortable bed. Our only concern was the lack of a kitchen sink to wash up in, not ideal using the bathroom sink.

• Narisa (9/5): Charming Clean Cosy and Comfortable - Lovely property beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Small kitchenette area but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Beautifully clean and very welcoming. Detailed instructions and photos on how to get there were all very helpful.
• Bohdan (10/5): - Fabulous stay! Everything was perfect. The location is very quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing. We especially loved the bedroom on the second floor with the window on the roof—falling rain on it was so soothing and magical. The contactless check-in was very convenient and seamless. Highly recommended!

Super clean felt brand new, location amazing with some horses to say hi to! I loved being told when the room was ready for us which was early. The signposting and info to find the accommodation was really helpful. Thank you. Recommend and would use again if in the area. I’m sorry we found the bed a little uncomfortable. Maybe a less springy mattress as if one moves we both did 🤣. I also found the wooden sides a little painful getting in and out of bed. Sorry it didn’t affect our stay but you don’t know if people don’t mention I guess?

• Kevan (10/5): We will definitely be staying here again. - Location is brilliant, we wanted a peaceful stay and that is exactly what we got. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Short walk to the local pub for dinner and a perfect nights sleep. Absolutely nothing.

• Kiran (9/5): Superb - Charming, cosy and immaculately clean accommodation in an amazing location, surrounded by nature. The host and her family were incredibly kind and welcoming, always stopping for a chat and offering quick replies when we had any requests - the apartment is an extension of their home and it really felt that way. The place was well stocked and decorated with so much love, including cute animal touches which we loved! There was an abundance of parking and having a smart TV in the room was a plus. There's a Co-op within walking distance which was great for quick snacks, etc. The only thing I could possibly fault was the lack of kitchen appliances, including a sink, which made heating food and washing up a bit of a challenge. We made do with the microwave and bathroom sink but there wasn't much space and I was scared to chip the beautiful plates/mugs provided! Other than that, a perfect stay.
• Deaton (9/5): Lovely accommodation - used as a stopover on our way to the West Coast of Scotland - Clean, beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed & decent shower No real cooking facilities, other than a microwave, toaster & kettle - no sink, other than the one in the bathroom. Perfect as a one night stopover but not for a longer stay

• Fabrizio (10/5): Just beautiful - The place is just amazing. It is spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and very cosy, surrounded by nature. The bedroom was very comfortable and due to the quietness of the place we slept beautifully. My only regret is that we cannot stay more days or we definitely would. This has been overall the gem of our trip!

Thank you for the special touch of little snacks, they were most - It would be helpful to have some larger towels, new pillows and mattress but they didn’t impact too much on our overnight stay. Washing up was a little tricky but again we managed fine.

• Jasmine (10/5): Didn't want to leave! - Absolutely amazing and very comfortable apartment that I will be looking forward to staying in again next time. The hosts were fantastic, welcoming and easily contactable. So many lovely little touches such as the basket of treats, teas and coffees on the table, milk in the fridge, a picnic basket to use during the stay, and lots of information on local attractions/amenities etc. I unfortunately was only staying the one night for work but would love to come back for a nice weekend retreat. Absolutely no issues whatsoever
