• sally (10/5): Fantastic facilities, fantastic location, spotlessly clean - Great cottage, spotlessly clean. Every single thing has been thought about, amazing welcome basket. Great communication from the owner Jackie. The location was fantastic, 3 pubs in walking distance, lots of local walks, 10 mins from Bakewell, The 2nd bedroom is a bit small, but didn’t spoil our weekend.

• Catherine (9/5): A wonderful cottage in Youlgreave - A cosy and comfortable cottage right in the centre of Youlgreave, it was just a perfect base for our stay walking in the Peak District. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with anything you might need. A home from home, highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the local area. Jackie, the owner was so friendly and responded quickly to messages. A basket of welcome goodies including a bottle of wine, was a lovely surprise. Nothing!

The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. Youlgreave is a lovely village with 3 pubs, a shop and a couple of cafes. It’s a lovely area for walking and close to Bakewell and Chatsworth. • Anna (10/5): Brilliant cottage in the heart of Youlgrave - Wow, what a great cottage right in the middle of beautiful Youlgrave. It was very comfortable and very quiet. All the finishing touches were lovely. Do not hesitate to book here - you will not regret it. We were two couples each with a dog - there was plenty of space. The two bathrooms was a real bonus. I really hope we can come back soon. I can't think of a single negative!

• Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - A real home from home. The cottage was lovely and cosy and a great base for our visits to Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Bakewell. The owners have renovated this cottage beautifully and have really thought of everything. Communication from Jackie was very prompt.Would highly recommend Parking was a bit of an issue on our second day as we were unable to park near the cottage. Didn't bother us as the walk back through the village was lovely but might be a problem for someone less able.

The care, consideration and detail towards making our stay comfortable in every way. The cottage flowed, was exceptionally highly maintained, warm and cosy. It was an uplifting experience to stay there. There was nothing not to like.
