Guest Reviews
- Dylan (2/5): Very poor stay that did not match the Booking.com listing, with multiple hygiene, safety and comfort issues that forced - N/A The property did not match the description on Booking.com and was uncomfortable and unhygienic. Breakfast was advertised but not provided on any day. The room had dirty carpets, loose floorboards, broken drawers, broken and extremely squeaky beds, a strong damp/mouldy smell, and non-functioning radiators, making the room cold and difficult to sleep in.
The bathroom was unkept and dirty, the shower was blocked, and the kettle was heavily limescaled. Bins were not emptied during our stay, fruit flies were present, and there was a serious health and safety issue where a drawing pin was embedded in the carpet and caused an injury.
Additionally, the lounge/pub area advertised as a facility was not fully operational. Due to these issues, we left a day early.
- Gillian (4/5): -
- Alison (1/5): Rubbish - Nothing Breakfast that took an hour and half
Uncomfortable beds
Locked bar
People arguing and fighting in hotel
- Joanna (8/5): Great value for money. - Great value for money. Within walking distance of centre - and good taxi options of course. Staff checked us in nicely.
- Luke (1/5): Very disappointed - Nothing Everything it was cold and damp and smelt really bad of damp it was dirty the breakfast was vile the bar was open 6pm till 10pm there was one staff the whole time and we felt like an inconvenience to him although he was very polite definitely wouldn’t recommend this place
- Aileen (8/5): -
- Peter (6/5): it was fine for my needs - breakfast was ok room was ok table in breakfast room that was for all the breakfast stuff did not have much on it and looked like it had not been cleaned for days same with the bin looked like it had been cleaned out too also i noticed the carpet in front of the door to the room was soaking wet and mold was showing too
- Deborah (1/5): never stay in this property again very diry cold wants closing don - nothing nothing never go again very dirty
- Krisztina (1/5): Very bad avoid at all cost not worth it. if you still planing to go there, do not wear white clothes - Only good point for the hotel is the yare close enought for the blackpool centre, nothing else. The Family room was completelly dirty, smell of mould throughtout the hotel. They selling parking ticket fair enough, but they managed to oversell the front parking and they tell you to park on the fire exit/ assembly point. that means if anything happen you blocking the exit from the hotel. the hotel receptionist/everything he had no idea and the owner too that nobody allow to park or block the fire exit/ assembly point. The roo mlook like its never been cleand since opening as the carpet dirty/ behind the bed have left over food or some other particle. even find lost nail as well. the shower bearly working, needed to be re cleand before use. you can spot mould throughout the hotel as i mentioned earlier that the smell of mould is very bad. the bar open on request but the still have crisps from couple of months ago with best before date expired. At least he mentioned before we ordered. the Bed was very bad. Unconfortable, the bed frame broken and they put some kind of wooden furniture sheet over the top to make it stady. Everithing was falling a part. Wardrobe was broken, some chair was wobbly/ unusable. under the carpet you can find random big holes, feel like if you step on it yu will end up floor below quickly. Absolute disgusting. The reception not open 24/7 as advertised if you need to reach them you need to give them a call. I would avoid for all cost. The cost / satissfactory is unmeasurbale as below standards. Most of the homeless shelters are in better shape.
- JOHN (1/5): poor - NO BREAKFAST NO STAFF NO HELP Managed to check in okay and on first exit got in and out okay but after visiting friends in Bispham and returning around midnight I found myself locked out and unable to either gain entry or rouse any staff, it took a friendly policeman who found me an alternative place nearby where I completed my stay.
- Angela (1/5): Stay away - Absolutely nothing my advice is do not book this bed and breakfast Everything it's dirty uncomfortable unkept smells what a dreadful place never stayed in a bed and breakfast like it very disappointed ☹️
- Anderson (5/5): - Nothing The TV had no signal and no WiFi.The room had mould on the wall and called owner and did not answer.would not stay here again.
- Guest (1/5): Awful - Didn’t bother Not having any staff on site , no bar open , pictures on web site from previous owners
- Jackie (10/5): -

- Steve (1/5): LANAYR HOTEL - It was within walking distance to the illuminarions and the town centre. Upon arrival I jad to pay an additional £10 for parking. I had already paid and booked for parking. The accomodation was out dated, dirty and the family bathroom I booked was unable to be used as no hot water. Three radiators only 1 worked. No bar as advertised when booked "licenced bar". No breakfast in the morning which I had booked for myself and my 3 children. Overall not good and took the shine off what shoukd have been a magical stay to see the famous Blackpool lights.
- Guest (2/5): Pleasant enough staff member doesn't make up for the horror show of a unloved run down hotel. - The shower pressure and temperature was good and the Wifi was good. The building is very run down and needs lots of maintenance work. The whole place seems very unclean. Carpets need changing, showers have black mould on the sealant.
My room had a shelf nearly falling off the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable as the springs were all poking through, and there was no mattress protector.
On the information leaflet in the room, breakfast is stated to be from 8-9am but we were told it started at 9 so for the first day were unable to get a cooked breakfast as we need to be at a conference by 9:30am.
They did make sure we got an early breakfast on the second day which was helpful.
When we arrived having arranged an early check in, no one answered the door. I rang the door bell multiple times and phoned all their contact numbers but no reply. We had to go to the start of our conference and then return to book in when someone eventually answered. But only when I manged to get in through the front door and ring an interior bell.
To top it off there was a large leak in the ceiling in the entrance hall. A large damp hole in the ceiling which was constantly dripping onto the carpet. This wasn't dealt with in any way during our stay as the carpet got increasingly soaked. It also didn't look like it had just happened and I wonder how long it has not been dealt with.
I think this is a picture of the level of care and concern for this business. It seems they have little interest making it a successful place. I am sure that if your primary customer is drunk stag and hen partiers then you may not want to have a very plush hotel as it may get damaged. But even in a drunken state I believe most would not want to stay in this hotel more than once.
- Marco Foglia (8/5): -
- Lindsey (1/5): - Nothing The room was absolutely filthy and smelled of urine. We stayed an hour and left.
- Kate (4/5): Slept well, but would not return. - The staff were lovely and helped wherever they could. I have no issue with them at all.
Breakfast was good, though each plate arrived on its own rather than together so everyone ate at a different time.
Bar was well stocked with spirits. There were no towels in one of the rooms, and when we asked for some, they were damp.
Tea and coffee were not replenished for the whole stay.
Staff were not always available.
The phones were never answered.
The glasses were dirty in the bar- one had mould in it.
They didn't have any cash- so we couldn't play pool one evening.
- Pat (7/5): - Good location Could do with a curtain, just a net at the window
- Keith (8/5): -
- Philip (1/5): Absolutely disgusting place - Rooms where warm, and location was good. Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing, The room was not clean ,there was dirty carpets (not hoovered in a long while) one of our rooms the toilet had not been cleaned it had last guest faeces down toilet , showers and shower curtains were black sinks were not clean and were cracked i had to clean them myself, black hair in shower and sink , an unpleasant smell on arrival, they had damp plaster from what looked like a water leak as there was a hole in the ceiling, there was rubbish in the entrance of hotel inside and out ,There was no one on site unless we rang the mobile number , I rang to say that the TV in one of the rooms was not working and it never got seen to ,they had no hygiene or fire regulations on display, they had a booking.com review reward on front door which was from 2017.
We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, I have photographs to show evidence of all of the above, the only thing that was any good for us was location to the town, and our rooms were warm.
Breakfast was always cold by the time we had it we had to ask for condiments as they were not on table and nothing was top up, The games room was opened once as another guest asked and The proprietary opened it for 10 minutes then locked it up and left, and went to a hotel over the road called The Empire.
Overall stay was absolutely disappointing.
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Sian (4/5): - The location was good not to far from the front and car parking on site There was a terrible black/mouldy stained ceiling not enough cups and tea bags and milk for three people the bathroom was a bit out of date their was a waste pipe in the bathroom and the carpet in the bedroom was badly stained, the breakfast room was not cleaned from the previous day has there was still empty butter and jam packs from the previous morning
- connor (4/5): Overall, ok but cleanliness was shocking. - Comfortable sleep
Late check-in
Freshly cooked food Don't think the whole place has been hoovered in over a month.
Walking from the shower to the bed my feet became black and fluffy.
Table covers were stained and not changed.
Bowls and glasses unstick from shelf as I pick some of them up.
Stains down breakfast counter side.
Mug provided in room was dirty.
Overall, ok but cleanliness was shocking.
- Janette (7/5): -
- Deborah (6/5): - Was clean Bed was lumpy. Fire alarm went off in the morning. No staff on site to turn it off.
- Aimee (1/5): Crap - Nothing Fire alarm 7.30 in the morning
Dirty room
- Simon (1/5): - Nothing Not up to what it says on booking. Com
- Michael (5/5): dated and wouldent want to stay there again. - Parking was at hotel , Breakfast was good. ONLY SHORT WALK TO SEAFRONT. The bathroom was tiny, the fire alarm kept going Off especally early morning. stated bar, was never open. £ towels for a two night stay. only £ tea bags over two days and no one around to ask for anything.
- Simon (6/5): - Ok parking. Ten pound a day. Filthy bedroom needs renovation.
- Deborah (4/5): The hotel was tired and need of updating , it was cold and needed a good clean. - Bedding and towels clean, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cold, didn't cater for dairy free or gluten free, had to provide my own .
Dining room was dirty and no heating, even the chef cooked my breakfast in his coat. The table needed a wipe and clean cloths. There was no sugar in the
dispensers, very little choice of cereal, only apples as fresh fruit, no fresh juice and the sauce bottles were
dirty.
- Michael (2/5): - On arrival we rang the bell. The receptionist opened the door and gestured for us to come through, no hello or welcome. We were led to a small reception desk where payment was taken. We were not asked to register or provide any other details which I found odd. The rooms were less than basic. One of the rooms had a hole in the floor which was badly covered over by the very thin carpet. The room didn’t look or feel like it had been cleaned and hairs were found in the bed. The other room had only one towel for 2 people and nobody was on hand to ask for a second towel. The tea making facilities were basic and one of the mugs was filthy. The shower cubicle was dirty and the radiator next to the toilet had never been cleaned. We stayed the first of the 2 booked nights as we had little choice at that point. We checked out the following day, a day early without seeing anyone to mention any of the above to. The upshot is that this “hotel” need a fully and immediate refurbishment or at the very least a proper clean and more staff available. I would not recommend anyone stay here.
- Alex (1/5): Will never stay or recommend anyone to stay here - Absolutely nothing
- stewart (1/5): - Nothing Staff not helpful wasn't informed we had to pre book breakfast room not clean asked for room 2 not given bar not open we have stayed here 10 to 15 times in last 4 years will not be staying again
- David (7/5): -
- Guest (1/5): Don’t stay here - Don’t stay here place is a dump Come back full of bites
- Michelle (1/5): Never again no heating and it was freezing - Breakfast was decent the full English was nice The room was dirty the window ledge was filthy the toilet and bath mat smelled of urine the shower needed condemning it was black with mould the toilet was stained the shower curtain was black with mould there was 2 of us and 1 chipped dirty cup left in the room with tea and coffee the landing walking down and up was dirty the carpet was black the dust on the side of the stairs and the hand rails was black
- Julian (6/5): Blackpool B&B - exactly that - It was what I expected for a Blackpool B&B. Room was clean. Perfectly adequate for somewhere to sleep after a night out on the town. Coffee / tea provided along with soap and toiletries. Decent cooked breakfast. Parking onsite. No hot water in taps/shower. Not just my room. My colleague's was the same. Thermostat control removed from radiator so you couldn't adjust / get any heat. Socket next to bed didn't work nor did the wall lamp above the bed. Colleague's TV didn't work. Breakfast only available from 9 to 10. Not a problem for us but beware if you are planning to leave ? go out before 10. Bar and games room plus downstairs toilet were locked the whole thime we were there so not available. Single room = single bed; fair enough - but this seemed to be half the width of any single bed I had slept in before and the mattress was extremely squidgy.
- Stacey (9/5): - it was close to the middle of Blackpool where we needed to be when we came home from watching the fireworks the heating wasn't on it was very cold all night. but that wouldn't out us off booking again we are just to used to having the house like a sauna
- Dominic (8/5): - Large room, good facilities and friendly staff Was bit cold in the room
Loud other guests in the middle of the night
- lisa (2/5): - Room, staircases, dinning room, front entrance all dirty. The room was freezing cold, had go out and buy a blanket just to keep warm. Parking was £10 a day to park in a back ally. No hot water till after 9am then went off again. No fresh towels,
the shower flooded the bathroom, toilet was leaking. Said on the website breakfast was 8am till 9am but its 9am till 10am. Staff only seen for 5minuts to check in and to serve breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was very poor, the coffee was something eles. The bar wasn't open. Definitely will never ever return and would never recommend it to anyone.
- Olivia (8/5): - The room wasn’t anything extraordinary (wasn’t expecting it to be) it was nice had a tv, kettle, coffee, shampoo ect, lamps above the beds. Was a little nervous based of other reviews and as it was very cheap (on a budget) but for the price there was nothing to complain about! :)) (we was in room 19) The window sill could do with a little dusting but everything else was great
- Monika (6/5): Budget accommodation - You get what you are paying for, they say. I was grounded in Blackpool for a week, waiting for my flat to be ready to move in. So I looked for a budget accommodation. It's not cheap but not expensive either. Staff very helpful and guys are doing what they can. However, if you paid more attention to details, the customer satisfaction would be higher.
- Sean (10/5): - Just the whole stay itself which has been a welcome change to normality compared to living in a falt with beyond the worst flatmates a landlord who was paid in advance without a working bathroom 4 3monthe a leak from above into & on my bed sofa to finally without notice or reason being kicked out & forced to risk being arrested for sleeping in the garage attached to the property that even now has some of my possessions!! There's is nothing to not like @this Hotel👍
- Lee (10/5): -
- Paul (1/5): Avoid!!!!!! - Nothing Bedroom ceiling leaking rain in allover the bed,no staff around so had to move the bed which was utterly filthy underneath.
Breakfast 9-10am staff didn’t even turn up so we all left to eat elsewhere.
- Teresa (6/5): - Convenient for where we needed to be but nothing to like about this property room small draws falling apart shower small needs sealing bed was unsteady no hair dryer and £10 to park fir the night ridiculous wouldnt stay again.
- Heather (2/5): Disappointing!!! - Only thing to like was the location. Very tired decor. There was a dip in the floorboard in the room and we both nearly fell down it several times. Net curtains hanging down and the room was very cold, no heating on. Even the toilet pan was slightly soiled so had clearly not been cleaned properly.
Breakfast took forever on the first day and the beans were almost cold.
2nd day breakfast room was supposed to open at 9am. It was past this when the door eventually opened. The water urn wasn’t hot enough to make a cup of tea and didn’t come to the boil for half an hr later. Although we ordered our breakfast at 09:10am it took the guy over half an hr before it was served up. Again virtually cold beans and also cold mushrooms.
It was very much like he couldn’t be bothered. Orange juice was not replenished from the day before and the cereal spillage from the previous day was still on the counter.
The bar was supposed to be open from 6pm, on our 2nd day it was still shut at 6:45pm.
- Jackie (3/5): Would never stay again - Breakfast was nice but cold had to keep asking to warm it up and it took ages to get it Rooms had no curtains and blinds were broke , bar was never open and when we had to ring them to open it they only served cans at 3 pounds a go and they wanted 40 pounds off is as soon as we arrived to pay for parking
- Tanya (9/5): - Very clean and comfy. Close to the centre.
- stuart (8/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): Friendly but not disability friendly. - The man running the hotel was very good. He seemed to be head cook and bottle washer though. He wore many hats. This hotel is not disabled friendly. I have two crutches and the lift seems to have been out of service for a long long time. There are no wheelchair ramps so I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone with a disability that stops you from climbing stairs. The rooms are all upstairs, up a narrow staircase.
- Steve (7/5): -
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid like the plague - The only good thing was the breakfast , room was not very nice door had seen better days , toilet seat was broken radiator leaked two towels for the week no house keeping i will not be going back there
- bev (9/5): - That i was able to have breakfast as forgot to order/book it
- Horsfall (1/5): What a sham - There was nothing to like, if Booking.com hadn't paid in advance I would have turned straight round and gone elsewhere. We were met and given the room and front door keys then he disappeared. The reception and bar were locked throughout our stay. No meals were available. There were toiletries and clean towels and tea/coffee provided on arrival. The towels were never changed, the room wasn't cleaned, beverages were never replaced. The room had broken blinds and filthy shower tray and curtain, broken drawers, totally shabby bedding, I was devastated but couldn't afford to go elsewhere and lose my money.
- Gillian (8/5): Clean sheets and towels friendly service - Clean towels and sheets
- Guest (1/5): Very disappointing would not recommend - There was very little to like about our stay Firstly on arrival we had to wait in a dark empty bar room with no refreshments on offer for around 30mins for our room to be ready despite being told by telephone twice it would be 5 mins, on seeing the room it was adequate although very little luxury, extremely basic, staff struggled with English no information given on departure or breakfast etc, was charged £10 to park on the carpark outside. When we arrived home from our evening late we found 2/4 beds were broken leading to very uncomfortable and disturbing nights sleep, blood on the wall in the main lounge and also on one of the single bed pillows. Every floorboard seemed to squeak and there were cables running under the carpet which left raised bumps as trip hazard and a hole in the floor which was only protected by carpet covered over but easily flexed when stood on, and as one of our party is severely disabled with mobility issues this was very dangerous!
- Jim (6/5): 2 nights in Blackpool - Location is just a few minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Blackpool. Bed was comfortable and room was spotless. Staff were very pleasant, helpful, kind and respectful. WiFi was excellent. While the carpet was nice and clean, there was holes in the floor boards underneath that you could feel when walking over them. The flow of water from the shower head was was quite poor almost like a fadt drip or dribble instead of a spray. Wardrobe door was missing a handle. The door frame to the room was completely damaged from what looks like there might of been a forced entry but im assuming there could very well of been a reason for that happening and its clear there was an attempt to repair some damage the best they could. Blinds were missing a few blinds and no curtains.
- Colin (4/5): - I left day early as i was not happy with room no windows to open on hot day no staff to talk to not clean
- John (2/5): Disappointing needs attention - Had its own parking. So the room was clean but the net curtains needed a wash as were sticky the mattress was lumpy bedside cabinet was broken and only one
The banisters handrails were also dirty and sticky.
Coffee and tea was supposed to be supplied but there was no tea bags and the coffee was horrible.
We stayed last year when the current owners took over but since then it has gone downhill we won't be staying again
- Taigan (4/5): Rubbish and glad I was out the hotel most of the day - The property was close by to all the attractions in Blackpool which was nice and not a far walk The hotel didn’t feel nor look clean. All night you could hear banging which kept everyone awake. Had to have someone come and fix the lock as this was broken. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly. Shower was rubbish and were given hand towels to use as big towels like who are they going to fit exactly. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere as bed wasn’t comfy either and all woke up with a bad back
- Guest (6/5): - Property location was excellent, short walk away from the beach front and tower,
The staff was very accommodating and polite.
Breakfast was nice, good choice and wasn’t greasy. The bed wasn’t the comfiest, and could feel most springs when lying in bed,
First night the light outside the room didn’t turn off and kept us up most of the night however after speaking to staff member he managed to get the light off the second night, which was very appreciated.
- Biddulph (2/5): -
- Marcin (9/5): -
- Marcin (9/5): -
- David (1/5): - Nothing hotel and Room shocking Disgusting not clean damaged smelled
- Catherina (1/5): - Somewhere to park my car outside the premises Halfcooked breakfast
No hot water
Feel/see the springs in the mattress
Net curtain so old falling apart, brittle and hanging off the window
Black mould in the shower
Hole in the floor
- andrew (1/5): Never again. - Nothing Where do you start! Absolutely stunk vile when you walk in, carpet old and sticky creaky floorboards, that’s before we even got to the room, when we got to the room it was old, tired outdated, heater on full blast and unable to turn off in the middle of summer, the shower was disgusting we have pictures, bed was ok! The only plus point! We only stayed 1/2 nights, when we explained to the worker he agreed that the room was sub standard and in need of renovation and agreed to an immediate refund through Booking.com I would never usually complain but this was bad.
- scholes (1/5): - Nothing the place is a dump and looks nothing like its photos the toilet was broken and the shower was that disgusting it needed burning Any of the place
- Adedayo (1/5): Terrible experience - Nothing I am writing this review with deep disappointment regarding my recent stay. From the moment we were shown to our room, the experience was unacceptable and fell far below basic standards of hospitality.
The primary issue was with the toilet. Immediately upon entering the room, we discovered it was completely broken. The WC would not flush, and the water was continuously running from the tank straight into the bowl, creating a constant, loud flow of water.
This presented two major problems:
1. The noise was unbearable. The sound of running water continued non-stop throughout the entire night, making it impossible to get any restful sleep.
2. The inability to flush was unhygienic and disgusting. We could not use the toilet for its basic purpose without being left with the unpleasant result and a lingering smell.
The most frustrating part was the complete absence of staff. After discovering the problem, we immediately tried to find someone to report it to, but there was no one at the reception or anywhere to be found. We were forced to endure the entire night in these appalling conditions.
Upon finally checking out the next morning, we saw a staff member. When we confronted him about the toilet, he casually stated that he "knew about it."This admission was the final insult. The management was aware of a significant hygiene and functional issue yet still allocated the room to guests, making no effort to fix it or even inform us.
This is not just a minor inconvenience; it is a fundamental failure in service and maintenance. To charge money for a room with a non-flushing toilet and no available staff is utterly inappropriate and provides zero value.
We would never return and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and your peace of mind stay elsewhere.
- Paul (6/5): - You get what you pay for, it was just ok.
- Gulati (10/5): - The staff is amazing The rooms are small and the bed sheets or blankets can be better to give a premium touch. But still it was amazing in this price
- Wayne (10/5): -
- Clint (3/5): Good location but overall Disappointing - The location is good, only a short walk to the promenade. The hotel advertised parking, which was one reason I picked it. But they charge £10 per night, which I didn't discover until I arrived. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of major repairs and renovation. The blinds on my bedroom window were missing several slats, making privacy from the main street impossible. The room was more or less clean but in need of upgrades. Finally, there was no breakfast as the cooker wasn't working, but staff gave an £8 refund which helped a bit. I spoke with a family who had slept on the floor the night before because there were holes in their mattress. They wanted a refund or a move to another adjacent hotel as they were extremely unhappy with the property.
- Antony (6/5): - Hotel was ok ,basic but clean . Paying to park was £10 a night and I thought it was not needed . You had to ask for a clean towel on day two .
- KELLY (5/5): Very basic but clean. - Very clean The radiator was on, in the middle of summer.
The shower was cold on the first morning.
The shower water leaked out of the shower tray.
- Dave (7/5): Good location if you are going to an event at Winter gardens, room was clean. - Near the Winter Gardens, so was very handy for me. Breakfast ok, room was clean and bed was comfy. Maybe it was because it was an older property but I only had hot water for 2 of the 5 nights I was there, the system can't seem to cope with providing hot water to everyone at the same time. Fire alarm went off one morning early but no one from the hotel appeared and said if it was a false alarm or not !! It stopped after a few mins so everyone went back in their room. Only ever saw one person working there so I think he was a bit under pessure.
- David (10/5): Rebellion 2025 - Excellent value for money
Single room en-suite is plenty big enough
Tv in room
Breakfast was cereal and full English
Would stay here again
- Byrom (4/5): Passable - That you can pay extra for breakfast.. Holes in celing lights didn't work mould under windows and could not turn radiator off and window had a snap key in lock and would not open
- Alex (8/5): Very good - Everything really. Nothing made me dislike anything.
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Nice Staff . Good Size Room . Comfortable Bed . Just Down The Road From Town Centre & Beach . Good Value For Money 💰😁 Everything Was Fine 😁
- Bradley (6/5): Pleasant - Clean
- Emma (6/5): Cheap and convenient - The room was very cheap and so expectations weren’t mega high but we were happy enough with what we got. The location was ideal for where we were going, walking distance, and we were free to come and go as we pleased. Parking available at the back for £10 a day which is decent. The room itself was a bit outdated which was fine, some of the bedding didn’t look completely clean and the shower in the bathroom was also a bit grim. Bed wasn’t super comfy but we made do! The most frustrating thing about our stay was actually trying to get checked in, we were stood outside in the pouring rain as you couldn’t get in without a key, and despite ringing the doorbell twice nobody came. Thankfully a couple of guys coming in were able to let us in so we waited in the bar where the reception was. We were about 10 minutes early, so we waited until 3pm when we were due to check in and rang the bell again. No response. Eventually we had to call the emergency number and someone did come after that but you would think if you had people checking in that you’d be around to sort them out. Once we were in everything was fine, we chose our room and got on with our day.

Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. As All hotels in Blackpool could do with a bit more love, but it didn’t deter from the enjoyment and the pleasure we had from staying here

- Craig (2/5): You get what you pay for - Selected pay at property and they took the money out of my bank before I even arived, asked a few questions through the app with absolutely zero response from the hotel. Upon arivel we had to wait 10 minutes before being let into the building and after that the rooms were still not ready at 7pm. No one available on reception at any time and bar was always closed.
There was mould growing in the bathroom and the shower curtain was mankey
Be careful when walking around the floor is un even throughout the hotel rolled my ankle coming down some steps because there was a 1 inch dip in the floor right in the middle of the stairs with bo warning anywhere about it.
Heating was constantly on with no way of turning it off. Hot water lasted about 2 minuets.
