- Diane (8/5): Football away fans weekend - The location was perfect for our needs The lay out of the room and the open milk left in the fridge snd a part box of cereal left on a self could do with a small table to put your brew on near the couch
- Dr Sally L (10/5): A hidden gem. - A lovely apartment, very comfortable, everything provided; a sunny terrace; hidden away and very quiet, whilst being moments from the cathedral and shops. Also very easy communication with the host - thank you! I can’t think of anything 🙂
- John (8/5): - Good location in centre. Very quiet. Easy access
Nice room rooms and decor.Well equipped. Comfortable beds Not easy to get rooms warm even after turning up thermostat.
- Hari (10/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Great 2 bedrooms apartment in heart of Exeter old town. - Great 2 bedrooms apartment in heart of Exeter old town.
- malhotra (9/5): - The location is near the City centre. The house lane is very narrow and it was difficult to locate it once reached the city in the night
- David (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Excellent apartment in historic centre of Exeter - Excellent location in historic centre of Exeter but tucked away in quiet backstreet. Great kitchen, lounge and outside decking.
- Alasdair (9/5): -
- Gabriele (10/5): Excellent in all respects! - I recently stayed in The Flat. It is a lovely, comfortable, and charming two-bedroom apartment, with a wonderful terrace and all the facilities. I had an excellent stay in all respects!
- Brandon (8/5): Nice but a few little things would make it better - Perfect location and nice amount of space Only bigger things would be .
No where in the bedroom to put clothes etc no draws nothing just bed and chair with two cubes with lamps on no where for clothes to hang etc
Need to update pictures on booking.com.as flat looks noticeably different but still looks nice
Front gate doesn't lock very well came back to front gate being completely open
- brian (9/5): Delightful.Would definitely request staying there again. - Warm, clean and homely.
- Hannah (8/5): Excellently presented home from home - The apartment was everything I expected and more. Clean, cosy and perfect little base for the weekend Access was a little difficult but the owner gave very clear instructions prior to arrival
- Michael (9/5): We loved Kealy House, and the location, right in the heart of 'old Exeter' was outstanding! - The location was outstanding! The only 'negative' regarding our stay was difficulty in communicating with the host ... I've asked several times about paying for the parking (as, according to the 'banking system', the name and account number we were given didn't match), but had no reply. And the final details for getting the key didn't come until shortly before we arrived (via email), and we didn't have access to email at that point. This created a little bit of difficulty. Otherwise - wonderful stay! Thank you!
- Anna (10/5): Great city centre home from home - Great location - really quiet and peaceful but very central. Well-equipped kitchen. Super-comfortable mattress. Very welcoming messages from the host.
- Joe (9/5): We only stayed one out our 2 days booked, this was due to a Storm, had it not been for the predicted Storm we would have - Location, right in the City Centre. It was difficult to find, even with comprehensive instructions. Our car only just fitted through the small lane leading to the parking space.
- james (9/5): -
- Martha (8/5): Keeley House is in a wonderful location, near shops, the beautiful Cathedral and museums. - It’s central location. Comfortable beds, luxurious shower rooms There wasn’t a window in the main living area, so little natural light. The main window were large patio doors from bedroom area to courtyard which people renting the other 2 apartments had to walk through to access their own apartment.
The kitchenette was beautifully organised. However, being under 5’ tall, I couldn’t safely use :
the kettle; sink to wash dishes; or reach some mugs or any glasses.
A fold up step would have been useful.
- Kulraj (10/5): Excellent little apartment in very central location, clean and very well finished. - Pre-arrival received precise instructions on finding and entering the property. Instructions were very clear. Able to open doors with code and then retrieve entrance key from a lock box exactly as described. Not a major issue but more hanging and shelf space for clothes, but was ok with what was there.
- Alina (10/5): -
- Ruby (9/5): Perfect, Clean, Lovely hosts! - Everything was really good and clean. Perfect location just a couple minute walk from town. Hosts were super helpful in accommodating us. Lovely place with gorgeous terrace! N/A
- Robert (10/5): Our short visit to Exeter was enhanced by this convenient and modern property. - This property was in an ideal position for our visit to Exeter. Close to Cathedral for the Christmas Market and the centre of town. It was very clean with facilities such as microwave, fridge, WiFi, TV, electric hob, tea, coffee & sugar.
Plus a fabulous Indian Restaurant, The Ganges only 100 yds away.
- Olivia (10/5): A lovely pleasant stay in a clean tidy studio and in a central and lovely location, we had absolutely no complaints! - We liked the location it was perfectly in the city centre but in a quiet location
We stayed in the studio and it was perfect for what we needed!
It was clean & tidy and there was everything you could have needed! Annabelle was also very responsive when we needed the heating on,
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!
- Valerie (9/5): -
- Clare (10/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Perfect for City centre and easy to get in and out - Location Nothing
- Martyn (10/5): Lovely little place -
- Lisa (8/5): - Great location! Lovely flat Wasnt able to light the fire and owner wadnt helpful. Also asled to book parking and had no response.
- Kathryn (8/5): Very enjoyable - Only issues were with slow draining bathroom basin (which owner was going to sort out) and coffee and sugar had clearly been there a while and had become damp and stuck in jar. Little sachets, including of milk would be better!
- Ashleigh (10/5): Hidden Gem in the heart of Exeter. - We had an amazing stay at Keeley house. Superb location in the centre of Exeter, but in a lobely tucked away and peaceful location.
The place is lovely and much nicer than the pictures show which was a pleasant surprise.
The house was spotless and the bedding smelled fresh and clean! We had everything we needed for the stay.
The host Annabelle was brilliant and on hand to help.
This is a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Exeter and I will be sure to book again in the future or recommend to others. It would have been nice to have instructions on the heating as it was a bit cold and we couldnt work out how to do it at first. Also, we thought it would be nice to have instructions on how to use the woodburning stove we wernt sure if we were allowed to use it and couldn't see anyway to turn it on.
- Sharon (10/5): Beautiful apartment, bang in the centre of the city but lovely and quiet at a great price - Beautiful apartment. Excellent central location. The bed was really comfy and the room was lovely and quiet. Excellent value for money and can't wait to stay there again Everything was excellent
- Sophia (5/5): Good value and clean, with a few issues - Great location in terms of being close to everything. Very clean. Comfy mattress. Lovely power shower. Woken by building works at 730 am Saturday. Stove tip wasn't working. Fridge iced up my cucumber and Tuna steak despite average setting. Contacted host regarding the stove but this was not resolved. Room was a nice temperature but duvet was far too thick for me and more appropriate for deepest winter. Not very cozy/ambient lighting. Messages from host largely generic with no personal touch.
- Jan (8/5): Great City centre location, Have booked again -
- Duncan (8/5): very satisfactory - all very convenient Nothing
- Justine (9/5): Fantastic space in a great location. - Fantastic apartment in a great location. The property was clean and tidy and well presented. A mirror in the second bedroom for hair and make up wouldn’t go amiss 😊
- Diane (9/5): Excellent location for Exeter city centre, would highly recommend. Will be back, Thank you ☺️. - Very well equipped, spacious , with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nothing.
- KIMBERLEY (9/5): Great location, cosy and comfortable. - Location was central and close to the parts of Exeter I wanted to visit. The studio is up a short narrow alley which is unlit at night. I was returning alone - it actually was fine but it’s good to know.
Very cosy studio, car parking was available so I used that. Bed was very comfortable and shower, lovely and warm .
Easy communication with the owner . Would definitely book again with my partner. Perfect if you are intending on being out and about a lot - I walked on Dartmoor so needed a base rather than somewhere to chill for the weekend. It would have been nice to have a pint of milk on the fridge . There is a Sainsburys and Tesco’s just up the road though .
- Dotski (9/5): - Very cute property and spacious, excellent location. Had everything I needed It was probably me but i couldn't get the TV to work and it wasn't the warmest of properties
- Michael (10/5): -
- Roger (1/5): Holiday almost ruined - Nothing. We did not stay there as the hostess had given my parking space to someone else and suggested that I park in a local car park which turned out to be unsecure, unmanned overnight, and closed during the night. I only found this out when I phoned her when we were just 20 miles away as she had not given me directions to the car space. I received back just 25% of my payment for a 2 night stay!!!
We are both 77 and my partner was still recovering from her 2nd knee transplant. I had to hastily book elsewhere. As above
- David (8/5): Great. - Location clean and comfortable. No nearby parking.
- Sharon (10/5): Beautiful, quiet flat in a fantastic location. - This was a lovely surprise. Beautiful little apartment tucked down a little footpath bang in the middle of Exeter. Excellent location right in the middle of the city so all the attractions, shops, pubs and cafe a short distance away. The flat was also beautifully quiet as no traffic. The flat itself was beautifully decorated with great facilities. The bed was ridiculously comfy. We loved our stay there and was extremely good value for money. We would definitely stay there again. Everything was better than we expected.
- stacey (10/5): Well worth a visit! - Clean and tidy, all amenities we needed. Great location! Nothing
- Helen (10/5): Brief issue with key lock code but Annabelle sorted it out instantly so my stay was not affected at all. Really lovely p - Very central, spotless, warm and cosy, well-quipped.
- Iain (9/5): Great! - Location, comfort, atmosphere Nothing particularly. More loo roll would be good
- Tom (10/5): -
- CLAIRE (10/5): Excellent stay, very pleased. - The facilities were clean and well laid out. There was plenty of space, two showers which made getting ready to go out simple and convenient. The building is very conveniently placed to town. Very central and we enjoyed the stay very much. Would definitely stay again! Good value for money and a nice stay There was nothing we didn’t like but a bit more parking would have been ideal. The hosts were great though and provided lots of recommendations so it was ok.
- Alice (9/5): Functional and cute appartement in the heart of Exeter - Location was perfect
The appartement was exactly as described and shown on the photos
The host responded extremely fast after we contacted her during our stay It was perfect for one night but might be a little bit small for long term stays
- michael (10/5): - Good location..
Excellent accommodation
Great coffee machine and loved the "kitchen"
Very comfortable and far more space than staying in a hotel room
- Caryn (10/5): -
- Toby (10/5): - An amazing location and a fabulously equipped flat. Would love to stay here again. Nothing
- Korinna (9/5): - Lovely open plan apartment, very comfortable great location.
- kate (9/5): Fantastic stay. Highly recommend - Location was perfect. Flat was really lovely. Very well equipped with everything you need Communication was excellent. Parking was reasonably close but quite expensive.
- Csandford2 (9/5): - Amazing location and the room had everything that's advertised. Can't fault it.
- Emma (10/5): Great value for money and the host was very accommodating. - Very clear instructions
- Catherine (10/5): - The location was perfect, good price. Nothing to complain about
- Kevin (10/5): Decent size bedrooms, well equipped kitchen for longer stays & excellent terrace for better weather. - Ideal location as we wanted to get a feel for the city before checking out the university open day with my son
- Amelie (7/5): - The little flat was very cosy and a nice place to stay for a night. Very clean and comfortable. We were woken up quite early by some men doing work on the building right outside of our room. We were also under the impression that there was a cooker in the kitchen and there isnt, but this wasnt a problem for just one night.
- Monica (9/5): Lovely and quiet studio in the centre of Exeter - The studio felt homely, was nicely decorated, and the kitchenette had all the facilities needed for breakfasts and other small meals. It was good value and the location couldn't have been better. Private parking was not available during our stay, however the council parking in Symthen Street recommended by the host worked very well, it was possible to pay for up to 24 hours at a time. Cannot think of anything negative to say about the studio, it provided all the comfort needed for a short stay. For longer stays I would consider booking one of the two larger apartments.
- Ann (9/5): Excellent property, this was our second visit. We will return next year. - The location is in the heart of the city centre. Excellent for public transport and sightseeing. Perhaps some sachets of long life milk, as after travelling we all need a cuppa.
- Billie (10/5): Great clean accommodation, host lovely - Clean central Nothing was wrong
- Gabriele (10/5): Exceptional in all respects -
- Nicky (7/5): - The location was perfect. No bedside tables, lamp that was far too big for the room and was in the way. Bathroom had no ventilation so smelt damp and everything wet.
Mirror in wrong place so awkward to dry hair/do make-up. Pointless rug which was a tripping hazard.
On the plus it was a lovely bright room and very comfortable bed.
- Rhianna Catrin (9/5): -
- Rule (10/5): -
- MeganH (8/5): - It was very handy to things. The fittings were of really good quality and the instructions were clear. We had to move the sofa around (it was quite heavy) to use it as a bed which wasn't ideal. There were no water glasses.
- Liz (9/5): Spacious studio flat with a friendly host - Detailed instructions on how to find the property and gain entry, with lots of email communication from the host before and during my stay. Very convenient location right in the centre of Exeter. Spacious studio flat that was spotless and had a neat little kitchen hidden away in a cupboard. Option to pay extra for a parking space. I thought everything was perfect, however some people might find the parking space a bit tight, including the entry and exit, but this didn't bother me - I have a large saloon car.
- Suzanne (8/5): -
- Wyn (10/5): Keeley 🏠 - Nice and clean near to shops and bars everything you need for a holiday Nothing to dislike
- Anne (8/5): - A nice comfortable retreat close to town. Very quiet and private.
Niente, tutto molto bene
- Alison (10/5): Great place located in the city with paid parking and a garden - Love the balcony garden and the real plants great host answered my questions promptly Nothing all fabulous
- Maire (9/5): we enjoyed our stay a very clean but would have preferred a separate bedroom . - No breakfast self catering I would have preferred a private patio area as where we stayed . In number 4 we could not keep the blinds open as people were walking by .
- Hume (8/5): Comfortable, clean, and convenient! - This was a very comfortable and clean studio apartment. I needed to be close to the Cathedral for this trip and this location was great for that. Very close to restaurants and shopping. This isn't a criticism, because the location almost right next to St. Nicholas' Priory in a historic part of Exeter is lovely and convenient to many sights, but I was a bit concerned when I discovered that the door to the apartment was down a narrow and dimly lit alleyway. Just a consideration for those who might be travelling alone and may be returning to the apartment later in the evening.
- WOLFGANG (8/5): - Top Lage mit guter Preis/Leistung
- Marco (10/5): We had a fantastic time and would love to come back - Very comfortable lovely decor and fantastic location. One bathroom each!
Very inventive kitchen! Wi-Fi connection to the TV wasn’t always great
- Peter (10/5): Good central location for our family reunion. - Qurky. Couldn’t find the light switch for the kitchenette.
- Cheryl (10/5): Lovely - Our room was beautiful and clean. It was comfortable and cosy. The bathroom was perfect 👌 and the kitchenette was really useful. Nothing, we will book again!
- Julia (10/5): Lovely studio flat very close to the town centre. Very clean with great facilities - Great central location. Very clean and modern
- Rachael (8/5): Very good -
- Kiyoe (8/5): Good, thanks. - Very good location. spacious and clean room. Terrace was not really in good condition to use. There was not conditioner in the bathroom, I could bring it with me if it was mentioned about it in message or on webpage. It was just not a huge problem but inconvenient as I had to be at a ceremony next day and noticed it too late to get one. The noise from next door was so clear... not this apartment fault but it was noisy.
- George (8/5): Excellent for a short stay in Exeter. I can recommend - Central location. All the facilities we needed. Great balcony. Shame about the damage to the second bedroom, but we were given a discount for this, so good value for money.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and clean, close to lots of facilities, nice outdoor space Going home
- Julie (8/5): Enjoyable stay in lovely apartment. - Lovely modern studio apartment in the centre of Exeter. Cooking meals was a challenge due to small area of kitchen facilities.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (9/5): Perfect location & facilities for a short break in Exeter with a perfect host at your disposal. - Annabelle was a very attentive host and any issues or questions we had were resolved/answered almost immediately. Location was very central, being only a shortish walk to the charming quayside area of Exeter - a city we'd never visited. Especially loved having a 'his' & 'hers' shower & loo!
- Morl (7/5): Sons stay - I booked this property for my son and his fiancee to stay in. My son reports that it was nice and quiet
- Lenka (10/5): Exceptional - Its nice, clean and equiped with quality stuff. Perfect spor for vissiting centre and quay. Only 15 minutes walk from railway station and bus station. Many shops and restaurant around.
- Brianna (1/5): Disgusting. Rude and unhelpful host. Would not reccomend staying here. - My partner and I moved out early due to the property not being cleaned properly. There was used sanitary products overflowing out of the bathroom bin, dirty floors and a broken extractor fan (resulting in the room being humid and wet after showering, the front door to the building was wet with condensation on the opposite side of the room).
When speaking to the owner they did not offer to rectify any of this, they however offered a refund if we moved out. We moved out mid week as the owner told us she had booked a clean for the following day without us confirming we were moving out… then the owner went back on her word about the refund and basically told us we were lying about the condition of the room because the cleaner said it was clean. The worst room and host I have ever used.
- Ivan (8/5): Perfect for visiting central Exeter - Great location. The Cathedral, Quay and city centre are minutes away.
The property had everything we needed and the two bathrooms were a bonus. While the property was well equipped, the kitchenette was very small.
There had been a fire outside which meant the internet was down. The owner kindly gave us a discount. Be aware that the phone coverage is not great in and around the property.
- Peter (7/5): Lovely little apartment - Good location and decor. Good shower room. Friendly, communicative and helpful management. Ideally could use a small table for working and having meals at. Mattress could have been more comfortable.
