• Hilary (9/5): Cosy, rustic cabin that surprises - This property is midway between the town of Punta Arenas and the airport. It is an easy drive to the town and to Fuerte Bulnes. Loved the dogs and Melita’s cooking. The cabin was comfy and warm. We didn’t use the cooking facilities but everything you might need was there. Extra blankets and pillows too. No negatives Perfect for a dog lover. You do need a car to move around the area.
• Hilary (10/5): A rustic rural hideaway. - We had a very comfortable and well appointed cabin. The beds were of good quality and the bedding was perfect. The place was comfortably heated with heaters in each room and an excellent heated towel rail. We travelled by car and had an automated private entrance gate. We loved the three large dogs at the property. Our host, Melita, provided dinner each evening and the food was delicious. It is an easy place to access from the airport and it is midway from Punta Arenas to the airport. The conversation we enjoyed over dinner was interesting and relaxing. Do not judge the rustic appearance of the grounds. The positives out way the negatives. We found the light from the street lamp shone into our room through the opaque blinds when we first stayed at the property. When we returned for this night’s stay Melita and her husband Tito had installed curtains to block the light. A much appreciated action. Thanks so much💓Maybe if you are not a dog person you may find the furry friends a bit overwhelming but they suited us fine
• Oliver (6/5): - Super herzliches und hilsbereitws Personal. Gutes Frühstück. Einfaches schönes Bad mit sehr warmem Wasser Die Lage ist direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstrasse zum Flughafen. Die Fenster der Zimmer sind aus so dünnem Glas, dass sie weder Schall noch Wärme isolieren. Somit ist es Laut und Kalt. Das ganze Jaus und Gelände ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

• David (10/5): AWSOME STAY AT TRIBAL HOUSE - Awesome B&B outside of Punta Arenas and just 5 mile to the airport. The hosts Melita & Tito are wonderful as is the brother Jorge Super clean and tidy from the living room up to the Bedroom and Bath and super comfy beds~ When in Punta Arenas DEFINITELY stay here vs a drab hotel in town. The also have a free breakfast and for a small fee a tasty dinner with wine included that was just wonderful. Cheers Dave NA

• Maria Alicia (10/5): - La Sra. Melita es una persona muy atenta y preocupada por cada detalle de la estadía. Se preocupa por el horario de tu desayuno, para adecuarse a las salidas. La habitación es tal cual se ve en la foto, y tiene vista al Estrecho de Magallanes, por lo que puedes ver el amanecer en tu ventana. El desayuno es con pancitos hechos por la Sra. Melita. No se pierdan Río Seco, caminar por la costa del Estrecho y observar muchas aves, pasar al museo (que puede parecer cerrado, pero no lo está). Los perritos son muy tiernos y regalones. El único detalle mínimo que recomendaría es que hubiera un par de colgadores en la pieza para las chaquetas. Lo demás nos encantó.

• Bernd (9/5): Guter Stopover - Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Angenehme familiäre Atmosphäre in diesem Bed and Breakfast. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Haus ist älter, aber alles funktionierte, war sauber und gepflegt. Die Dusche war eine Wohltat. Alles war so, wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Große Menschen werden in der Dusche nicht glücklich da die Decke niedrig ist. Für uns 1,80m war es gut. Die nahe gelegene Straße ist in der Nacht nur noch kaum befahren.
• York (10/5): Quiet and cozy overnight near PUQ airport - Perfect place to stay a night near the airport. They were most forthcoming arranging transport to and from their lodge, and receiving us at 2am! Very warm welcome, great and fresh breakfast.

• Kjeld (3/5): I will recommend to find another place / pay attention regarding IVA refund if you are a foreigner - The house lady was in general very kind. I booked the place / room with private bathroom (as stated at Boooking.com) but there was a shared bathroom = you could not keep your private stuff and there is a lot of noise during night! The house is placed 50m from a 4 laned motorway = lot of noise When walking out of the front door you had 3 dogs around you legs. Not pleasant if you don't like dogs. As a foreigner the house lady initially charged me for IVA when paying USD in cash! - this was the first place out of 8 different places over 3 weeks travelling in Chile it was the case being charged IVA! After lot of arguing I got the tax / IVA refunded.
• Mz (10/5): Welcoming and warm home-stay - Beautiful little family-run business. It's a comfy and quiet place away from the city noise. Melita makes you feel at home and serves a home-made breakfast. The room is tidy, clean and quiet. Very good, with a personal and warm feel to it.
