Guest Reviews
- Rachel (10/5): - Fantastic stay here once again. Really is a home from home with extra personal touches and fantastic location to explore Dornoch and beyond.
- Katy (9/5): Very pleasant and peaceful - Lovely, cosy accommodation, and appreciated the welcome gifts and cooking extras in the kitchen as I was just there for a few days. Very peaceful park surrounded by fields, was about 15 minutes walk from Dornoch. I think the owners have put in a lot of thought when it comes to the comfort of their guests. It was spotlessly clean and all the furnishings in very good condition. Light and airy and I liked being able to sit on the deck in the sunshine. The only thing I wasn't keen on and is quite minor compared to all the boxes ticked, is that I really don't like the smell of fabric conditioners, so the bedding smelt a bit overpowering to me. I struggled with the Wifi, but to be honest, sometimes a bit of digital detox can be a good thing, and I probably spent more time listening to the birdsong and watching the sun go down behind the trees as a result... :-)
- Margaret (8/5): Convenient for the golf course and town -
- kenny (9/5): - cozy and homely nice place stay
- Sean (9/5): Enjoyed our break đ - Very good location for the surrounding areas. The home itself was very well kept, clean, everything you required was there. The park is very well kept and easy to find. There wasnât anything that was negative to be honest. We werenât bothered with this at all, but internet was not working, contacted owners who said to move hub to another location, we tried kitchen area, worked no issues. But as I said, if we didnât have internet it wouldnât have bothered us. There wasnât anything we could be negative with. If there was we would, but all good đđź

- Dr Russel (9/5): A really great stay! - We stayed here during the Dornoch whisky festival and found it very suitable. It's an easy walk into town, although some of it is along the main road. We loved the gifts of crisps, whisky and sweets, and really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. Beds are comfy, the cabin is warm, and there are lots of personal touches. I'd stay again! The mattress was slightly springy for me, but not uncomfortable. The main bedroom is quite warm with the heater in its en-suite, but that was soon sorted by cracking open the window. Everything else was pretty perfect though, the owners clearly are proud of their cabin. A reminder of which cabin number to look for in the welcome text message would have been perfect, although we did find it from the directions given.

( where to go, restaurants, etc). Quiet holiday park was appreciated. WiFi is good but sometimes cuts out. Maybe a potato peeler would be useful.

- Carol (9/5): Superb - Clean, quiet, welcoming and homely
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location, great communication and really a home from home. Everything had been thought about (little things like salt/pepper/oil) and the welcome 'pack' and folders of what to do in the area and where to visit were of great help. The wider park was also very clean and welcoming.
- Jill (10/5): Excellent in every way - Had everything we needed and more. The hosts left lovely welcome gifts
Ideal for mobility impaired A minor issue. The plug in the en-suite bathroom did not work
- Linda (10/5): Great property - Peaceful and comfortable. Nice little touches like the taste of a variety of the water of life. Home from home. Beautifully kept park. Welcoming and helpful park manager. Not quite walking distance to shops and restaurants but trade that with the only noise being birdsong.
- Jo (9/5): Superb - Spacious, clean, well equipped. Great shower! Really quiet caravan park just minutes from Dornoch. The wifi wasn't great.
- Emma (10/5): A fabulous stay in beautiful Dornoch. The site is peaceful and the caravan is well equipped. - The caravan was very clean and had everything we required. The children loved their room and having the en-suite was such a luxury. The welcome drama and snacks were much appreciated. The host had left lots of information and we used this to build our week and make the most of the local area. No. There was nothing we didn't like.

- Garrett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - Property was very comfortable, there was everything we could need in the caravan Absolutely nothing
- Mpw79 (7/5): Cozy home away from home - Great central location. Quiet park. Has everything you need to cater for yourself. Loungeroom great size. 2nd room is tiny. While we had 4 adults, it was a tight squeeze. Not enough toilet paper for 4 qdilts for 5 nights. Internet signal was very week and we struggled to have any connection. Assuming it was the area as our phones were just as bad.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful caravan. Lovely quiet location. Clean and comfortable. Good value for money. The weather.
- Marion (10/5): It's a must for tranquility. - Lovely clean caravan on a lovely peaceful site. Lots to do in the local area.

- Heather (10/5): Excellent - canât wait to stay again! - Quiet location, style of interior, size, cleanliness, pleasant and helpful owners
- Florence (8/5): Very comfortable home from home - Comfortable sitting area and excellent kitchen facilities with everything we needed for our stay. Appreciated the wee drams and crisps. Pot holes at the entrance to the site that had to be avoided to enter
- Susan (7/5): Quiet site suited purpose of visiting relatives. Caravan just needed bedding upgraded to bring it up to standard of rest - Very clean, ease of access ,great location. Everything was perfect except the bedding needs to be upgraded didnât give a sense of the standard of the rest of the caravan.
- Michelle (10/5): A great wee getaway! - The caravan was wonderful. Lovely and clean, and very well equipped for a holiday. The welcome snacks and drams were a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The caravan was so cosy, given the horrendous weather at night. The actual caravan park was so quiet and very well kept. We will definitely be back. The only small thing I would suggest is possibly having a shower mat as it is very slippy when wet.

- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): Fantastic - It was fresh, clean, comfortable snd a real home from home. Nothing - although location was a bit out of the way - but that did not detract at all from the stay.
