Guest Reviews
- Sinikka (10/5): - Siamo stati benissimo. Molto rilassante. Ottima posizione, e villa confortevole. L’accesso è un po’ delicato ma con un’auto piccola fattibile senza problemi.
Non posso che consigliare vivamente. Niente.

- Tom (9/5): Lovely villa with great views in excellent location. - Central location with beautiful views of Loutra. Seva and her husband were very helpful. They were kind helping us to find the villa and then answered any queries very promptly. Villa was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Loutra is stunning. Beaches glorious. Island spectacular. Would love to come back. It’s not that we didn’t like this but it might be worth being clear on the listing that the property is up a steep narrow lane. It is probably only 100m from the port side but lane will only fit a medium car (our Dacia Duster just fit) and requires a confident driver. The villa does have a parking space but it is a bit of a manoeuvre to turn the car round.
- Eleni (8/5): Good accommodation fully equipped with problematic access - The house is nice, comfortable and super fully equipped situated in a nice location overlooking the picturesque harbor. The host was very helpful. The access to the house was problematic especially by car as you had to go uphill a very narrow street with a sharp right turn to the limit. Need a small and narrow car to make it to the private parking. Alternatively you park the car down at the port and walk uphill for about 300 meters and then you also have the 32 steps to get in. It will be kind of tough for people not in their youth.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - We very much enjoyed pur stay at Villa Mariza. Beatificazione location above the town, nice view, gorgeous and spacious terrace. Wi-Fi was perfect every in the house, including the outdoor spaces. The house was unusually well equipped and Eva, our wonderful host, had left many food items and other things for us to use. We really felt welcome. We liked everything, but the stairs leading up to the house are not suited for people who are not comfortable walking. It takes a bit of effort to get up to the house but it it worth every step!!
- Cristina (6/5): Disappointing - The house is large and well designed, a bit secluded. The view is amazing. There is a grill on one terrace and a garden with grapes and fig trees. The beds and bathrooms are comfortable. Everything is clean and tidy. The house is not bad, but it has many issues.
First of all, there is no parking place available, no matter what the host says, and it is not recommended to go by car to the house either as the street is extremely narrow, inclined and always full of people walking up and down or sitting at one terrace, definitely not a location for people with walking difficulties or carrying heavy luggage.
Secondly, we had no hot water for two days. There was something with the boiler, the host’s English was very limited, so communication was difficult.
Thirdly, on our first morning there we had no water at all. When we contacted the host she told us these are the rules on the island, no water before 8.30 (she hadn’t mentioned it when we checked in because she assumed we wouldn’t wake up before 9:). However, our friends were staying in a nearby house and they had no problem. After we mentioned this, we miraculously received water for the next days.
We lost a lot of time and energy with these issues and we were happy when our stay ended (4 nights) and moved to another house on the same island but with no problems at all.
- Negus (10/5): Exceptional - The place was amazing
- Claudia (10/5): The nicest stay in Kythnos - Very nice villa overlooking the port and with a great view. The house is perfectly equipped and Seva was EXTREMELY nice and helpful . Strongly recommended!
