- Donna (10/5): - Perfect location along with the lovely neighbours ( horses ) so peaceful Had everything we needed for the night
- Hamiltom (10/5): A little gem. - Lovely lodge, it had everything we needed.

- Sean (9/5): Cozy, loved the owls(tawny)i think.very quiet at night. - Quietness No dislike.dont expect phone signal.but you were warned
- Lauren (8/5): Great stay despite some issues - Beautiful cabin & spectacular views. Cabin was well equipped & clean, stars at night were beautiful!! Amazing ! Firepit was great.
Great getaway. The mattress was really hard & hurt my back. There was plumbing issues in the bathroom which caused a leak over the bathroom floor. The key in the lock was stuck and when we reported it were told sometimes it jams and you need WD40.
We arrived and our starter pack for fire was not there yet, we went and asked and it was delivered a short time after.
No phone signal, internet signal, no tv. No means of communication.

- Peter (9/5): -
- John (8/5): A lovely spot - Position. Good heater in main room and bathroom.
Very nice Glen walk close by.
Too wet and cold to use outside bbq etc Nowhere decent for a meal within 1/2hr.
- Jennie (3/5): Uncomfortable. Hard mattresses. No bedding or towels provided despite cost of £90 (no ei-fi either) - A great location for nature and peaceful environment No bedding or towels!!!
These are basic amenities that are essential for a comfortable stay. We would not have booked if the lack of towels and bedding was clearly stated up front.
We did not learn this fact until the booking confirmation was received. We had booked at short notice whilst travelling through Scotland.
Therefore booking was non-refundable.
- Maria (10/5): Relaxing getaway in nature - Despite the rain, we truly enjoyed our stay. The lodge is cosy, spotless and equipped with everything you might need, making it perfect for a peaceful night surrounded by nature. Such a relaxing atmosphere – I would definitely love to come back! Nothing
- sinclair (10/5): - Great location Lovely wee place in a great location hosts were very friendly and can supply fire wood if needed
- Laura (10/5): - Lovely and peaceful, great walks around lovely wee firepit cabin was spotless
Will definitely be back
- Giulia (9/5): - Fate attenzione alla strada che porta alla struttura, è parecchio dissestata.
- Von (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great just what we needed to switch off and relax
Definitely be back even use the other pods if I can find them on here as my granddaughter would love it Only thing missing bottle opener
Extra toilet roll
And maybe a few large cushions to use for pillows
(We did take some )
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pilar (8/5): Perfect for hikers, posh campers or anyone looking for a nature retreat - Nice stay and close to hiking/camping routes. Loved hearing owls and wildlife from nearby woodland while sleeping. The pod was equipped with basic kitchenware to cook light meals/snacks. Fireplace outside for bonfire and complementary logs. Electric heater inside Beds a tad hard to sleep on.
- Kirsty (10/5): Beautiful place 🙂 -
- Lola907 (10/5): Wonderful - Everything. Mini lodge is perfect for one person, and extremely well equipped. I took a mattress topper to enhance the bed and I slept really, really well. Spacious, cosy and very peaceful. Fabulous walks from the site. Beautiful outlook and surroundings and perfect for watching the sunrise over the hill opposite. Nothing - All great - wanted to stay longer
- Sharon (10/5): Peaceful & relaxing - Clean & comfortable. So quiet with great views & lots of wildlife to look at. The only down side is having to bring bedding & towels.
- Carrie-ann (7/5): Good - Lovely chalet in a quiet location. Would not say it is worth £90 a night when you need to provide your own bedding and towels.
- Stewart (8/5): A really enjoyable stay! - A great location for star gazing on clear nights. A very cosy cabin with surprisingly comfortable mattresses, a decent shower and sufficient crockery. Very patchy mobile signal.
- Patricia (10/5): Excellent - Very quiet. Great walks. They accommodated me with late check out.
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Amazing - Very peaceful
- Geoff (9/5): Off the grid and quiet place to enjoy nature - Location in the parkland is great, barbecue and logs provided for the fire grate, no telly to bother me and the walking through the woods is a fantastic experience. Nothing not to like.
- Stuart (10/5): Excellent - It was great location comfy wee lodge basics all covered for what’s needed we had a great stay Only negative we would say and agreed on was maybe a full bag of firewood we brought one anyway but overall perfect
- Ffoeguk (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (10/5): Beautiful place to be - Very clean and beautiful location . Would definitely stay here again . Bed comfortable and had all the kitchen things you need to have some food . Love the fire pit available outside although we didn't have time to use it . I'm sure if I stayed here more nights I would use it Nothing
- Arthur (9/5): Kayaking Weekend - Location Location Location and facilities.
- Liz (9/5): peaceful stay, beautiful surroundings - I stayed here for a nearby field course. It was really lovely, great views, very peaceful, great surroundings. Everything worked, easy parking.
- 2202895 (10/5): Sweet glamping lodge for 2 - The setting is beautiful. We made use of the BBQ and firepit which helped keep the midges away. The lodge has a worktop oven and 2 rings. Although the field also has 2 glamping pods, there is a lot of space between the units so there's no issue with privacy.
- Deb (10/5): Relaxing and peaceful , worth a couple of nights stay as there are - Location Midges but to be expected nd there is fire place
- David (5/5): Passable - N/a
- Andrew (8/5): Ideal as a stop off location for our trip to The Open at Troon. - Location was perfect quiet and out of the way. The. Wood and kindling provided was a nice touch for the fire pit. Very well kept and spotlessly clean. It was warm. Nothing in the description at time of booking about the need to bring bedding and towels. Just a message 2 days before which if travelling would have been difficult. No hangers (minimal clothes storage) and no bin in the kitchen. Pint of milk in the fridge and tea or coffee would have been nice.
- Arthur (9/5): Perfect - Location and proximity to Loch Doon and Finlas. Views and walks from the door. No road noise or passing traffic . Lodge had everything for a short break. Facilities good. Going home.
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional - Location, second time we have stayed here, got out on our bikes again. The lodge is fully equipped and spotless, firepit and bbq, great. Fabulous stay again no doubt will be back, just beware
the midges 😂 N/A
- Shona (8/5): Very good -
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional - The Cabin was spotless , well equipped and in a really peaceful setting
Highly recommended All good , couldn't fault
- Kate (10/5): Well needed peaceful break. - Wonderful location. So peaceful and lovely to be so near the ponies! The grass was a little long around the fire pit
- Tom (3/5): Uncomfortable and overpriced - Lovely location very uncomfortable “bed”. Had to bring own bedding which was definitely not clear from description (if it had been I would not have booked). Peculiar kitchen with only one pan but I hadn’t planned on cooking anyway. Complementary tea and coffee would be a nice touch. For the price (akin to a hotel, where you do get a proper bed) it was very disappointing and I slept badly (akin to bothy/camping sleep)
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (10/5): Fantastic - would absolutely recommend and would stay again! - Such a cosy little lodge in an excellent location. The lodge was actually very spacious, incredibly clean and the surroundings were beautiful. We will definitely book again! Nothing!
- Charmain (10/5): Loved every single minute will definetly be back - Absolutely everything immaculate&verycomfortable Everything was perfect
- Declan (10/5): Excellent - The location and staff we ever so friendly even although we did not meet face to face
- Shaunna (9/5): Great! Would definitely recommend. - The surroundings and the view are amazing. The mini Lodge is cute and clean. Fire wood was provided, which was great for sitting out watching the sky. Would definitely come back for longer next time. Staff are kind and friendly. It's really everything you could want for a little getaway. Lots of adventures to be had. I have bad hips, so the bed was a little hard and uncomfortable for me, but my partner said he slept great, so there is no real issue here. Just personal preference.
- Sorcha (10/5): Exceptional - It’s so sweet, very cosy and clean. The location is amazing, we’ve been a few times down and love it. Will be sure to be back. The property is beautiful, nothing not to like.
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Rosalind (10/5): Cosy, scenice getaway at the edge of ayrshire! - The property was clean and cosy! It has everything you need for an overnight stay when adventuring. Absolutely stunning views and wildlife to be seen all around. Nothing it was perfect!

- James (10/5): Fantastic location for a peaceful getaway - Fantastic location, well equipped and very clean. Can’t wait to return.
- Sarah (9/5): Brilliant wee lodge for a romantic getaway. Despite the storm a very comfortable, warm stay. Was slightly worried about - A lovely comfortable stay. Big enough for a couple. Everything was lovely and clean and the lodge was lovely and toasty once we put the heater on. Towels and toiletries would have been a nice touch. I knew from the description we had to provide our own but completely forgot. Luckily found a shop nearby for toiletries.
- Mcphee (10/5): Breath taking - We were blown away it totally exceeded our expectations the horses around was beautiful we had such a wonderful stay and the walk around the grounds was breathtaking very peaceful Nothing at all
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
