The room was class: clean, big, comfy and the bath room even had a bath tub standing in the middle of the room. Wow! Definitely an outstanding accomodation for any trip to Derry. We will come back! There is nothing, really nothing to complain.
• atravelerfornow (10/5): Return to Georgian Townhouse Derry - I returned to Georgian Townhouse Derry after an overnight outing to Donegal and Killybegs. Once again, every aspect was impeccable. The host is such a lovely and interesting person who goes out of her way to make sure her guests have everything they need. I am grateful for her hospitality! The place is so gorgeous and inviting that I could've just stayed on. It's a reason of its own to visit Derry. As always, my highest recommendation!

Gorgeous accommodations, outstanding host, exemplary hospitality. The historic building has been thoughtfully renovated and designed, with original art incorporated throughout. The en-suite rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and inviting. The host is a true local, extremely knowledgeable about the city and region, as well as Ireland in general; she kindly offered interesting information and helpful suggestions. Everything has been thought of to make guests feel truly welcome and comfortable. My highest recommendation!

Eileen was very warm and welcoming, kept in touch and was flexible about our check in time. The house is in a great location, easy walking distance from the Guildhall and restaurants and in a beautiful Georgian street. The room is amazing, light and spacious, comfortable, and elegantly furnished, with Eileen’s vibrant artwork on the walls. You can see St Eugene’s cathedral from the window. The bathroom is fabulous - a place to relax and pamper yourself. Good tea and coffee, toiletries etc and complimentary fruit bowl in the lobby are all nice extra touches. Nothing - it was all great.

• Claire (10/5): Fabulous stay in Derry - Wonderful stay! Eileen very friendly, and her artwork and design make the place so beautiful. Extremely comfy bed, thoughtful touches throughout (like lovely shower gel, plenty of towels, a selection of teas and real cafetiere coffee), huge bathroom and bathtub as well as shower. Perfect location for us too, easily walkable, and free on street parking. Free fruit and porridge if you didn't want to pop out for breakfast (but there's a gorgeous coffee spot Gráft just up the road, or Jerusalem down the way). Super clean. Good blackout blinds. Hope to be back. Traffic noise inevitable in old building by main road with single glazing but ear plugs did the trick.

Everything was within walking distance. Eileen has a good eye for interior design we love everything about the room and the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. We adored the freestanding bathtub 😍

It's not a hotel so don't expect a restaurant, it's not even a B&B but it's an incredibly stylish place with stunningly decorated rooms and a super welcoming host. Great location - just on the edge of town - out of the hustle and bustle but a short walk to everything you'll need. Highly recommended.

Also, thank you for the lift down to our restaurant. We love Derry. A great vibe in the city. To be honest you don't need to add contential breakfast to your business as many restaurants nearby. The little biscuits and fruit an added bonus. No TV in room. This is only an observation. Too much to entertain yourself in Derry to be watching the TV. You will do amazingly with your adventure. The location is great, and the attention to detail in the building, and Eileen’s fabulous artwork create, a one of kind place to experience and enjoy.

Plus Elaine might be one of the best hostess in the UK. All in all，it must be the best living experience I have ever had and absolutely I would get back to Georgion Townhouse again in the near future.

It’s a beautiful townhouse, the room was very spacious with a big bathroom, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location was walking distance to the centre of the city with nightlife and restaurants not too far away; the street was quiet and on street parking. Would recommend All was great!

Comfortable beds, Modern and super clean. Lovely proprietor, very helpful. Even had advice and help to give regarding our genealogy search. No breakfast included but there is plenty nearby. Several flights of stairs. So if you have health issues you need to know that going in.

The hosts have paid tribute to its historical background with beautiful stain glass ,colour and local art . The host was most welcoming offering advice on places to eat and visit .It was warm welcoming and very comfortable. We will definitely plan a return visit . It couldn’t be better !

She went over and above to make us feel welcome Rooms are located upstairs, just something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues. No TV, not necessary for most but I had my teenage daughter with me, so it would have been useful. No breakfast, maybe an offer of tea and toast or croissants to your room at a set time would be nice.
