Guest Reviews
- Kornelia (8/5): - Sehr gute Lage - 10.Min. bis zum Hafen / ST.Ives-Mitte. Sehr gut ausgestatteter Küche. Insgesamt saubere und schöne Unterkunft. Wenig bequeme Sitzmöglichkeiten in der Wohnküche (2Couch).
Räume sehr hellhörig.
- Gillian (8/5): - grab bar in shower - shower floor tray slippery/ door stops as bedroom door closures very squeaky need adjusting/shelf in bathroom & suggest backsplash tiled above vanity otherwise with wear & tear it wont last long.
shower temp seems to be when others are using the water possibly above temp changes/remote control batteries need changing in living room
- Elisabeth (8/5): Excellent. - The facilities nd cleanliness were excellent. However, I was not told that the access was up such a steep hill! I am 86 and only walked up to the property once. That was enough. Going down was OK see above
Perhaps you could oil the bathroom door as it creeks badly.. It was impossible for me to find normal channels on the televisions though I could find Sky News. That was all. I found the duvet too hot and thick but my companion like it heavy! A hook on the bathroom door would be useful as would a shelf by the basin. Otherwise everything was super.
- Sandra (9/5): - Very clean had a dishwasher and washer dryer Looked a bit tired in areas
- Victoria (8/5): - Bien equipado.
- Jenny (9/5): Modern, great for couples or families with older children - Comfy beds, modern kitchen, Wifi & smart tvs, clean and parking Bathroom door needs a lock 🔐
Warm inside apartment, can adjust heating but can't turn off.
Sofa not big enough for 4 people, pretty comfortable.
- brian (9/5): - Very clean and spac Up a hill
- Heleney (5/5): Comfy beds, good location but slightly disappointed overall. - Good location. Good parking. The beds were very comfortable. The property itself is tired in places. The shower needs resealing. There is water stains on the outside of the bathroom wall into the living area. The bathroom needs a lock. It does need a freshen up with paint. As there is accommodation above it was very loud. You can hear every word they were saying, we were woken early in the mornings. Also we stayed with another couple and there is just the one 2 seater sofa, so we used the dining chairs but it doesn’t offer a relaxing stay for two couples and slightly awkward with no bathroom lock. The fire doors are not soft closing, they really do slam, so be aware.
- ALISON (9/5): Great value for money comfortable apartment for 3-4. - Clean and simple decoration. Comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen area. Nice toiletries provided. Good location. Parking. Can’t think of anything!
- Magdalena (8/5): - Apartament gustownie urządzony i świetnie wyposażony. Plusem jest ogród. Spokojna okolica.
- Alexander (10/5): An excellent choice in St Ives - Great location in a quiet neighborhood – just a 10-minute walk to the city center and harbor. The apartment was very clean, nicely decorated, well-equipped, and had comfortable beds. No issues to report.
- Kate (7/5): - Great location. More clarity around shared outside space.

- Birgit (9/5): - Sehr gute Ausstattung! Schön eingerichtet. Tolle Lage! Bequeme Betten!
- Simon (8/5): Great accommodation for a short base in St Ives - Clean, nicely furnished and a full kitchen. Check in controlled by timed electronic lock which would not let you in until exactly 4:00 even though room was ready. Small issue with lock number that also had to be solved by calling office. Quite a walk up the hill from town centre.
- Neil (8/5): Great but for parking - Great facilities, comfy beds, decent location. Only let down by parking situation - was not clear prior to arrival that it may not be possible to park on site (there was no space one of our nights due to other guests poor parking in the car park), and the claim in the handbook of being able to park easily in the surrounding streets was false as these were almost all double-yellow lined. The only alternative was a rugby club 10 mins walk away, which was not practical for us with a baby and everything we need for him.
- Yvonne (9/5): Great stay - Needed a rubber mat for the shower tray very slippery
- Michal (8/5): Very good - Comfortable spacious rooms, clean overall Clogged drain in the shower upon arrival (we had to clean it), toilet constantly leaked (only partially repaired)
- Andrew (4/5): Mixed experience, good location but not a great place. - Newly refurbished. Unhelpful layout of dining area, there is a step up to bathroom which I cut my toe open in the middle of the night. Fire doors (?) to bedrooms fitted with returns which slam shut and could not be melted open. Lack of natural ventilation… Dehumidifier provided.
- Claire (9/5): Great find !! - Amazing beds,very comfortable..
Very clean and modern furnishings and good location..
No problems parking .
Everything we needed for our break was in the property.. Nothing!!
No issues , you have a great place !! 🙂
- John (8/5): Very good - Nice and spacious ideal for a break in St Ives Bathroom needs some attention, shower doesn't drain very well and toilet ran constantly.
- Michelle (8/5): Very good -
- Georgina (6/5): The place was really conveniently located and the beds were super comfy. It lacked hooks to hang anything up, maybe a la - The bedrooms were modern and the beds very comfortable Water came through the ceiling in one bedroom and there was no one to deal with it until the next day. The staff were very apologetic about not being contactable and we have asked for compensation however no one had phoned back or replied to our email.
- Stephanie (10/5): Excellent - Lovely stay comfortable beds very clean. Good internet
- Mary (7/5): Good -
- Suhi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (10/5): Awesome, absolutely perfect -
- Michelle (8/5): Family short vacation - Location Toilet was constantly running.
- Nicole (6/5): Pleasant - I found it difficult to get the keys because my code didn’t work. We had to call and as it was Sunday it wasn’t the easiest. Then turned out to be an internet problem so they gave us another code. The internet apparently was solved later on, but it was communicated by booking messages which I was not checking during my holiday. The place was nice and comfy good location. It was well equipped and the bedrooms were well equipped too. However, the walls felt very thin as it was really noisy. The noise. Very thin structure. We were able to hear everything
- Nick (9/5): You've Should Book...... Little Nook - Just really lovely place and everything was within walking distance Nothing
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Muktapa (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Balaji (10/5): Good place to stay with family comfortably - Clean and well furnished
- Josie (8/5): Clean, comfortable, quiet accommodation that is as it looks on the photos. Very good. - Clean, quiet, well appointed and accessible to town. Lack of opening windows in the living room/kitchen.
- Katrina (10/5): Fabulous communication, lovely and clean with everything needed - Clean lovely and modern with everything needed No recycling bins in our accommodation
- Kristian (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (9/5): Over all was really good value for money, wanted a cheaper base so we could travel round Cornwall and this was perfect w - In a lovely quiet area, shop not too far, has everything you need Could use a three seater sofa rather than a two or an arm chair
- Gary (10/5): Perfect - Clean and everything you need is in the apartment
- Zoe (5/5): Nice decor but lack of sleep due to noise - Nice decor Noise levels are bad, bad night sleep, constant noise throughout the whole night from upstairs, you can hear every move upstairs which meant we got minimal sleep
- Sonia (7/5): Good -
- Cassandra (9/5): Very pleasant stay, wish we could have stayed longer! - Lovely and clean
Modern finish
Lots of little extras left such as tea, coffee and sugar. Not being able to control the heating.
- Terrence (10/5): Fabulous couple of days away in a lovely apartment will definitely use again - Cleanliness Facilities. Location
- Peter (10/5): Excellent stay in a spotlessly clean well maintained property. - The accommodation is simple but very modern, clean and comfortable. I loved that the hosts provided quality tea, coffee and all the consumables including dish washer tablets and toiletries for the stay.
Both bedrooms had large comfy double beds and TVs
There is a warning about limited parking but this was not a problem as there appeared to be plenty of spaces for normal sized cars. I can’t fault the accommodation at all. A couple of things to note (which is shown) is that although the bedrooms could easily suit two couples there is one two seater sofa in the kitchen diner. This was not an issue for us.
The accommodation is not massively hard to find but when I missed it, I noted that the management company could not help although they were super friendly, they just did not know the area and were just looking at google maps.
- Paul (7/5): Perfect for our objectives. Just needed a clean and well situated place that was reasonably priced - Location
Parking
- Clare (6/5): The apartment gave you what you needed, but need to look at facilities in more detail. - The apartment was clean, easy to find and in a great location. Creek and country emailed regularly and replied in a good time frame. Parking on site, WiFi, close to the seaside. Gave you information on what to do around St Ives and other areas in Cornwall. Although they offer facilities such as towels, cleaning products, tea/ coffee, the apartment lacked a few fundamental items. Being close to the seaside, a broom would be handy as the cleaner only came when you book over a week, a clothes horse as there is no where to place your washing except for a small towel rail in the bathroom. We ended up buying these items to help cater our needs during our stay especially as we love the beach. Parking is tight especially for long cars.
The finishes on the apartment were lacking, the toilet sit was loose, gaps in the skirting boards on wall, finishing around the door frame need attention, the sills were coming away. The layout of one bedroom needs rethinking, there are charging portals next to the bed but nothing next to the bed to place your phone/ water. There is nowhere to place toiletries in bathroom, no shelf.
Our fire alarm went off during our stay quite early in the morning, even though it is good to have regular checks, it would be ideal to inform guests when these happen, maybe having this information in your guest pack. We were startled it happened and only knew this check was taking place as there was a gentleman outside with his van informing us what was going on.
The ceiling is thin, we had really loud guests upstairs that woke us early hours of the morning and although Creek and country replied to our email this did not seem to fix the problem as they continued during their stay to be loud until late hours.
- Debbie (9/5): We had a lovely stay at Another Nook in St Ives. The property was well maintained with very comfortable beds and very s - The property was clean and interior was nice , comfortable beds. No window in the kitchen/lounge area. Got a bit stuffy and when cooking I like to have the window open . On the hot day had to have the front door open for fresh air but with other people staying in the other apartments I felt a bit uneasy.
Also a curtain to go over glass door would be nice for privacy in the evening as when it was dark and you have the lights on people can see in you even though privacy glass. No mirror in one of the bedrooms which was a pain as needed a mirror to blow dry my hair as my friend had the mirror in her room and was asleep so I had to keep going to bathroom to hair and do make up. First day was torrential rain and when we got to flat we were soaking as we had been for walk but there was no where to hang up wet coats , would be helpful to have hooks by the kitchen bin maybe.
We still had a lovely stay !
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location - easy drive / walk to St Ives. On-site parking. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and attentive staff. Certainly rates highly on our list of "stay there again".
- Paul (10/5): Top B&B - Very clean, tidy and well run B&B. Although the room we had (No. 4) was not massive it did the job for two of us for a two night stay and gave us a peaceful night's sleep each night. Very comfortable and clean throughout. Bathroom was also clean and had a good shower which was warm and powerful.
Nice lounge to sit in and relax if required.
Breakfast was very good with a range of yoghurt, cereal and juices before a hot option of full English/vegetarian/omelette/eggs etc. Sampled the full English, omelette and scramble eggs and salmon and wasn't disappointed at all. Everything was well cooked, brought to the table not long after ordering, plentiful and tasted great. It certainly set us up for each say we were there.
Car parking was available although advisable to notify the B&B in advance to secure a space - more relevant in the busier summer months.
We could just about make out the sea from our room over the top of neighbouring properties. Only think missign was a dressing table that perhaps could have fitted in alongside the chest of drawers in the room.
St Ives itself is only a short 10 minute stroll from the B&B although does involve a steep hill - although this would likely apply to most accommodation in the area with the nature of St Ives being hilly - even the town itself.
The biggest asset to the Nook was the staff. We received a very warm welcome and left to feel that nothing would be too much trouble.
All in all we had a great stay and would definitely return
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice place - Lovely little hotel. Would stay again. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The overall trip was incredible, could not fault it.The arrival was quick and easy and the service was outstanding.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place. Made to feel very welcome clean and tidy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a lovely place to stay , the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious!!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent place, clean, easy access to town and quiet. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay food were nice, the room are clean and fresh and staffs are really nice.. The lady who I didn’t got the name always made sure we had enough towels and toiletries.. All and all it was excellent and staffs are honest, we left one of our gadgets and the staff who had clean our room gave it to the in-charge who then phoned us and we’ve came back.
Again thank you to all the staffs
- Gary (10/5): Recommended to try - Quite simply one of the most friendly places we’ve visited, after falling ill on the second day they couldn’t be more helpful, kind, caring, considerate & professional, recommend it to anyone, family, couples or even on your own..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a lovely place. Nice and homely. Staff very helpful. I was so tired after my train journey I had a lovely bacon sandwhich and a cup of tea made for me. The breakfasts were delicious.Staff were cheerful and helpful. If I get a chance will stay there again.
- kerry (10/5): - Had the best time . Lovely place to stay & st ives is beautiful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - comfy beds were lovely, very steep hill to town centre
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice views. Comfy bed. Quiet (except for the seagulls first thing in the morning).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel with extremely friendly staff and very tasty generous breakfasts. Both receptionissts and breakfast teams were ciurteous and helpful at all times. They were very flexible with their cleaning schedule and worked around us. Only suggestion its a 10-15 minute walk down very steep hill into town but nearly 30 mins back due to steep steps and steep climb. Suggestion either offer a small dinner menu in tgete beautiful dining room or some sort of shuttle service otherwise everything was magnificent.
- Vivien (8/5): Staff very helpful, room and en suite small - Walk from town is all uphill one has to be very fit as it is a climb
- Mario (10/5): Very comfortable - We enjoyed our stay. Very nice and comfortable room, friendly service and reasonable walking distance to town. We would use again.
- Julie (8/5): Weekend away - Nice B&B close enough to walk into St Ives.
Don't have to drive through St Ives to get to the Nook.
Limited parking so book car in at time of booking.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely and clean comfortable hotel - Fantastic breakfast clean comfortable room if a little small
