Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): Would recommend to anyone and definitely good value for money - Very good location in an upmarket area set back from the main road. We are visiting from Singapore and have stayed in many apartments around the world this place would be rated in my top 3 Nothing
- Ashiam (10/5): -
- PHil (10/5): - Thankyou, it was an excellent house in a lovely area.
- Victoria (10/5): - I don't normally rate places but this was absolutely amazing we loved it, Tracy the host was so great, best ever ❤️ Nothing
- Moyra (10/5): This comfortable, spacious property was perfect for our stay with extended family including a baby. - Very spacious, good showers, comfy beds, easy parking and facilities for young children. A bonus would be the addition of a dishwasher.
- Jay (10/5): A delightful and relaxing get away. - My family and I have been coming to Stockton-on-Tees for years and we've had our fair 'taste' of properties in and around the area - the good, the not-so-good and the not-so-beautiful! The consensus was that The Hideaway was the best place we've stayed in so far. Check-in instructions were clear. The amount of space on offer and facilities allowed everyone to be together and yet enjoy their privacy. All the facilities were clean. Parking and proximity to our areas of interest - everything was top notch. Would gladly stay here again. Nothing :-)
- Wells (10/5): Property was immaculate. Easy to find and the host Tracey was fantastic. -
- Kev (9/5): Superb - Everything, the house was spotless & Tracy who owns it is always helpful The ceilings upstairs can be a bit low, just how it us designed, not an unlike as it adds to the uniqueness of it, just more of a caution as can easily bang your head.
- Sadiq (10/5): It was awesome and I will book it again and again. - I like the property as it is very spacious and well cleaned in a quiet environment.
- Christopher (10/5): We all enjoyed our stay at the Hideaway and will definitely be back again. - The property is very well presented, with plenty of space for all of us (we were are party of 8), it was very clean throughout. Great location too. Nothing.
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house. Lovely host.
Had everything we needed for our stay.
Such much so, that we have booked again
- Osayuware (10/5): Brilliant. - Big, spacious, clean. Host were always available if needed. Nothing
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josephine (8/5): Beautiful and large modern house - Beautiful huge modern house with plenty of room downstairs for all of us, we were a family group of four couples catching up with family in the area. We all got together on the Sat and it was great to be able to stick the kids in one lounge with games and tv and the rest of us were in the kitchen and other lounge. Enormous kitchen and garden and loads of parking. Tracy was very helpful and quick to respond to comms. Compared to the other three huge and well appointed bedrooms the small double was very sparse and not really big enough for a couple, no mirror, no hooks or anywhere to hang clothes and had to climb over each other to get out of bed. (No picture of this room on the website). Main bathroom is gorgeous but could do with a shower, ended up with two in the e suite and then six of us sharing one downstairs shower. Didnt spoil our lovely stay but next time would need to find a second property and have less of us.
- Charlotte (10/5): Excellent - Property was really nice. It was very clean plenty of space and liked the little touches that the owner had left around the house We traveled with a disabled person who could of used handles or a chair in the shower
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic property to spend New Year with family. - Exceptional property, really large and everthing provided. Great hosts who ensure everything is ready for your arrival.
- Amy (10/5): Excellent - Amazing space for the family to meet up together, we loved our stay at the Hideaway. Nothing - only that we didn’t plan to stay longer!
- Ritzy (10/5): Exceptional, we will be back! - Overall stunning home, felt like a home from home. Heating wasn’t working great and the owner came straight out to sort it. Amazing host and amazing home. There was nothing not to like!
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - It was lovely to stay at The hideaway, worked really well for us, grandparents, parents and siblings, for our grand daughters wedding a few miles away. Our only regret was that we hadn't booked to stay longee. Nothing to dislike!

Everything has been done to a very high standard.
Amazing home from home, will absolutely be back.
- Osborne (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much. - Clean, spacious property. Excellent value for money. Tracy ensured we had what we needed. Fabulous little touches such as complimentary coffee pods and wine. A little folder with some info in: popular takeaways near by, info on bins. Difficult to be critical when stay was so good!
- Jayne (10/5): Fab house and location - First rate, everything we needed All fine, no issues at all
- Anthony (9/5): Would stay here again - Stayed here twice during the holiday period, was good value for money, great facilities generally all good
- Anthony (9/5): Brilliant stay, lots of space for people to have their own space. - This was a great place for family gatherings, lots of space and clean amenities. Huge comfortable bedrooms, great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Centrally located within walking distances of supermarkets, pubs etc. Would definitely stay here again. Had difficulty getting the washing machine to work - A manual would help :)
- Sunder (9/5): Superb - Dishwasher was not available
- Angela (10/5): absolutely fabulous house for our family to stay in all together - spacious, spotlessly clean, everything we needed. could not have been better. nothing!
- Rubina (10/5): The house itself and size of it is amazing, with perfect facilities which we've had the pleasure of utilising. - facilities. size. garden. games provided.
just so practical for families
- Dosanjh (9/5): Superb - How should I start, it felt like home when we got there, but much bigger and better, there's so much space! All rooms are big and spacious. Huge garden. Massive kitchen, loved it! It has everything you would need. My kids loved the board games that were provided. I would highly recommend this place when going away with your family. It's so relaxing.
- Lindsay (10/5): was amazing experience for our family and some of our relatives have booked already to stay the weekends with the kids a - it was very clean and tidy host was very helpful and was easy to contact she was very polite. pictures did not do it justice when you are there we could not believe how beautiful the property was .

- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious modern all facilities excellent
- Bonnie (10/5): Perfect! - The house was beautiful, large, roomey, clean, tidy and homely Everything was perfect
- Gary (10/5): Brilliant large home that is very private and brilliant connections. Will use again. - it’s huge, private and lots of parking nothing / all good
- Kay (9/5): Great ! Will be fab after a few minor tweaks - The size was great, location great, communication great. Comfortable beds and very clean. Host was lovely . Considering this is a new venture they are doing pretty good Needs an extra shower however I understand that is planned. If there are 8 guests you can't eat in the same room so maybe a bigger table? Or some bar stools. I'll probably mark it a 10 when we return!
- Jordan (10/5): Lovely house - Great size & very comfortable had everything you needed.
- Loretta (10/5): Would stay again....x - Stunning accommodation, with very spacious rooms and lovely decor throughout. There was only one shower in an ensuite bathroom, that was the only negative. Beautiful roll top bathroom. But a second shower would have been useful.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
