Well equipped and very comfy. Brilliant hosts nearby but not intrusive. Handy EV charging point. Lovely gardens around and great view from the living room windows. Nothing

- Ruth (10/5): Well-equipped house in great location - We received a very warm welcome from Irene when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom was well stocked and the charge point was very useful after travelling from Fort William. Well situated for Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, lake Menteith but also Stirling and Edinburgh. Relaxing lounge upstairs where we watched the sheep in a nearby field. We also loved the caramel wafers! Being picky but a washing machine might be a good addition.
- Annette (10/5): Extremely comfortable stay in a lovely location with very welcoming hosts. - Very welcoming hosts, met me on arrival and departure. Good location and lovely views for the first floor living room. Extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was nothing that I did not like.

Good location.
Good facilities.

Lovely hosts. A double bed would make the property better.
Fridge smells weird.

- Amanda (10/5): Amazing views, cosy yet spacious house. - Beautiful settings. Very peaceful, just what we needed. Gorgeous house - very clean. Views were exceptional from the upstairs floor where you can sit in the lovely rocking chairs and watch the day go by. The house was well stocked with cutlery, drinking glasses, mugs, plates etc. Hosts are very welcoming. We went a walk around the area and it was nice to be out in the countryside and look at all the wee lambs in the fields. Callander and Aberfoyle are close-by, by bike or car. Lovely restaurants close-by, we went to Nick Nairn's restaurant in Port of Monteith and it was lovely. The Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill is also a nice place to visit for food or a drink. We will be back as we really did enjoy getting away from the city. I loved everything about the Newton Bothy.

- Josierc (10/5): Exceptional - Wow!! We had an amazing stay. The bothy was so well presented and everything was spotless. The bedroom is so comfortable, the shower is amazing, the kitchen has everything you need (and importantly was well stocked with tea, coffee, and even fresh milk!) and the upstairs area was incredible. My partner and I loved the comfy chairs looking out the big window. The hosts were very welcoming coming to say hello and making space in their shed for our bikes. Good location for outdoors adventures being close to Aberfoyle, Callander & surrounding area. 10/10 stay nothing negative at all to say.
- Christina (9/5): Lovely accommodation, well situated, welcoming hosts and the added bonus of an electric car charger - Location was lovely and quiet, but also convenient for Stirling, Aberfoyle and Callander. Irene and Jim were brilliant hosts and had taken time to think about how to make the Bothy "a home from home" and made us feel very welcomed. The electric car charger was also very useful.

The Bothy was spotless and furnished to such a high standard, the view and the little garden were perfect. There was everything provided that you could possibly need, the beds and shower were amazing! Irene and Jim are the most helpful and accommodating hosts, it was a pleasure to talk to them, they had wonderful recommendations and we very much look forward to returning one day! A perfect place to stay!! Nothing at all, everything was perfect!!
