The posting said 1 king bed and 1 queen bed (not a sofa bed) which is why I had booked it considering there were 3 of us. When I checked in it was just a single room with a sofa bed and barely any space to move. When I expresses my concern the guy that check us in completely ignored me and was so rude and arrogant about it, and when I proceeded to contact the WhatsApp number they had given- it was just him yelling more that this was the room I had booked. Overall I have no complaint about the property other than the fact that it’s false advertising and rude people.

Mark (6/5): Served its purpose for F1 race weekend. - Location was great Attempted upsell for bed sheets for the sofa bed was met with an equal amount of attitude c/w a sprinkling of MSG on top. Cheeky! Impossible to enter when you’re 15 pints deep. There’s a nice little empty shop house next door with a bench outside that served me well though. Wife still doesn’t believe my story though….

We needed more info as our first time to Singapore, so it would have been better to understand.

Brandon (3/5): - Location is accessible and near the bus station. It has amenities and a laundry washer. It didn't meet our expectations as the room was changed to something different from the one we booked or at least what was advertised. The room was too tight for a family of four as we booked a place with 2 bedrooms. They gave us a bed and a convertible couch. Also, read about the SGD 100.00 damage deposit as we got charged for it and only got refunded less with us leaving the please with no damage or left unclean.

The hotline given doesn't state clearly (not even with auto response) when is their office operation hour. We thought it was 24 hours customer service available operating like hotel. The Indian screw me badly when I texting about the faulty dryer late night. I was told to use the dryer at common area, yet my clothes remain same wet and someone took it out. I had informed the customer service thru hotline that I will checkout what 7am sharp a day before. The message had been take note but fail to meet and answering hotline when call and make us waiting long. Last only pick up my call thru intercom.

Kelly (1/5): Accomodation is not as advertised. - 10 minutes walk to MRT stations. We booked a two-bedroom apartment with a separate living room. This is what is shown on our booking.com booking both in words and in photos. On arrival we were given two very small one-bedroom studio apartments with no separate living area and told this is what we had booked. When we maintained that was not what we had booked, the manager said that was the biggest apartment at R residences. Despite asking for the sofa bed to be set up as a bed before we arrived, it was not set up. The fold out sofa bed should have been in the lounge room but had to be set up in one of the studio apartments, which was already very cramped. To set this up the two-person table and chairs had to be removed from the room. One of the apartments is so small you cannot fully open the door, as it hits the bed. Whilst the booking said there was a wardrobe or closet, there is no storage in that apartment. No cupboards or drawers in the bedroom or bathroom, which meant we had to keep one suitcase in the tiny kitchen, and the other half open on the floor, to live out of. There were no tea towels or hand towels provided. The bathroom towels were very poor quality. The kitchen sponges were very used. The kitchens were so small they were not practical to cook in. There each had a very small microwave and very small kettle. There was only one fry pan, and one saucepan provided. The sinks were so small that to clean a plate, it had to be held sideways in the sink. The crockery was very cheap quality. The fridge in one apartment was so small that it was impractical to use. I observed cockroaches in both kitchens. Never have we seen such cheap and poor-quality toilet paper. No washing powder was provided with the washing machine. The machine was very ineffective at drying clothes and there was nowhere to hang clothes. The accommodation is well below the advertised standard. My child accidentally broke a plate. The manager was more interested in receiving $10 to replace it, than helping with clean up.

The battleship grey was pretty oppressive. The customer service such as it was is really hands off. No, they wouldn’t book an airport taxi. They asked I call them on arrival at the property but I explained I wouldn’t have data so would instead text them when I left the airport. No one was there when we arrived and we had to ask another guest sitting outside to call them just to gain entry. Glad we were only here 1 night but it was fine for that.

Davin (2/5): Disappointing - Distance wise it was nice that it was close to Orchard making it much easier for tourist. There was construction going on every morning like a morning call to wake us up, we had to inform multiple times of the construction The room was also smaller and too expensive for the facilties offered.
