Guest Reviews
- Bunn (10/5): Lovely cottage in a great location, short walk to the town and public transport - Great location and excellent views
- Philip (10/5): -
- Lauren (8/5): Really enjoyable, clean and comfortable accommodation with good outdoor seating area and a lovely view behind Looe. - It was in a walkable distance to Looe centre, had parking and a garden with a good seating area and a lovely view.
Also, the bed was comfortable and the sofa bed fine as well and everything was clean.
The apartment was thoughtfully decorated and furnished with everything you might need. The steep approach for the parking, although we navigated this. Also, perhaps a better fitting toilet seat, as this would be more consistent with the overall finish?
- Tracy (9/5): Really impressed and value for money - Lovely location with beautiful views, worth the 50 steps. Property well described and looked exactly as we expected. Well maintained with everything you could need and a comfy bed. Clean and tidy with good interior design. Host checked in on us. Think it's a good price for what you get. Neighbours upstairs were loud (or sound proofing is none existent) and this was clear throughout the stay.
- Guest (10/5): Nice relaxing place to stay, feels homely - Lovely well equipped apartment, great view and nice to have outside table and chairs Nothing I didn’t like.
- hantamkind (9/5): - Lovely little decking area with bbq, apartment lovely with all we needed, good location to town, pub around the corner with food and music, happy days!! Parking - up a steep hill, etc
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely apartment in Looe - Just a short walk from the centre of Looe and the beach, with a fantastic view from the terrace. Lovely decor and a well equipped kitchen, it really does have everything you need. Bed is very comfy, lots of drawers and hanging space in the bedroom, plenty of plug sockets and charging points. Host is lovely and very responsive. Extremely good value for money. Steep drive, which we were warned about, makes parking a bit tricky.
- Michelle (9/5): Quirky and unique place to stay - Quirky place to stay with superb view of Looe estuary.
- James (10/5): Great location and apartment - Really great location, it’s a great size for 2 people and the terrace is amazing
Great view and catches the sun all day
Perfect location walking distance to beach and the town in a few minutes Nothing
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Hannah (10/5): Brilliant accommodation - Brilliant place to stay near Looe. 5 minute walk into Looe. There are steps to the property so that's just something to like about for some people. The house had everything we needed and more The parking. It is steep but we parked up all week and walked or used the public transport which was at the bottom of the road
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Celia (8/5): Beautiful views - The apartment is beautifully decorated and has all mod cons. Tremendous views of the river and town. Access is quite steep as mentioned in the booking description.
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely flat Perfect for two with fantastic views and 10 minutes walk from the town center. There was nothing that we didn't like.
- Cooper (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was in a great location and really nicely decorated.
- Kirsten (10/5): Great place to stay for a single night or longer term - Beautifully decorated, wonderful amenities, excellent staff
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Clean fabulous location Nothing
- S (10/5): Had a nice stay, very comfortable bed and all the appliances you need. Great views and natural light - Very close to town, great views.
- Tom (9/5): Loved the sunny decking and being able to easily walk into Looe - We had a really great stay, the views were fantastic - perfect for sitting out in the sun on the decking, which we made the most of. The flat itself is nicely designed and has a really cosy feel to it. Parking was manageable for me, but it was really thoughtful of the owner to offer to cover the cost if I needed to use larger car park just down the road. Nice little touches like that make a difference.
The flat's location is handy too-there's a Co-op in town that had everything I needed. But if you're staying, don't miss out on La Bocca- their pizza was absolutely spot on! There's quite a few steps up to the property, but the views are worth it
- Amanda (4/5): Nice area but sadly disappointing accommodation due to the amount of cleaning which it needs - A very pretty property with amazing views Unfortunately the fridge wasn’t working properly with water coming out of it. The shower cabinet is absolutely disgusting and needs a really deep clean around the doors
- Blakeston (8/5): Very good - Lots of little touches made it very welcoming and homley The parking is a bit of a nightmare but does not take away from the flat
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good -
- Andy (7/5): Amazing views and cosy stay - Superb views, nice touches throughout. Quite a classy looking apartment. The steps and driveway didn’t bother us as we knew what to expect from the listing and it’s also a steep fishing village so it comes with the territory and the views were worth it. Blankets in lounge and linen could do with a freshen up, a bit musty and dog smells.
Maybe a welcome book for things like the tv and heating would help
- Paula (10/5): Wonderful relaxed stay will definitely book to come again - Absolutely lovely accommodation, clean bed so comfortable, all the facilities needed home from home, supplied everthing for a self catering flat, our dog loved roaming around in garden, five star accommodation Nothing
- Melanie (10/5): Set in a beautiful picturesque location, an amazing peaceful and relaxing property - The property had a fantastic view of Looe and was very quirky and was decorated lovely throughout, the layout was perfect for my needs and I was very comfortable there. The peace and quiet was amazing and ensured a nice chilled out, convenient stay for me, I would definitely go there again.
- Simon (9/5): Superb - Property great lovely apartment comfortable and clean comfortable bed great views. Parking is difficult better off paying for parking elsewhere also 50 steps up to property.
- Joanna (7/5): Good - Nicely decorated flat, well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and sofa, a well-organized space, large windows, high ceilings, and a terrace with a magnificent view. Electric heaters for the colder days. Close to the town center. A very steep hill to drive up to the parking area, parking space for Flat 2 is steep and small, so we decided to park elsewhere. A lot of stairs to climb to reach the apartment, which could be a problem for elderly people or those with mobility issues. Dust in the bedding storage container, and the blanket has a dog smell. I couldn't find a hairdryer.
- Teresa (4/5): Quaint apartment, steps not for the faint hearted, host very accessable! - Quaint little apartment
All on one level
Nice little outside area 50 steps to the door!
Parking space was tiny
No locking front door on arrival from the inside
Double bed was snapped in half
Number of steps wasn't mentioned (although it did state not for poor mobility)
Poorly lit at night.... Had to use phone torch when sensor lights didnt work.
No handrail at the top of the steps.
Felt unsafe on first night.
- Edward (8/5): very enjoyable and would come again - location was ideal being short walk to town and railway station. best bit was not using the car for three day. worst bit was parking the car up the steep access and the many steps up to the property.
- Helen (7/5): Good - Stylish decor, wonderful views over the town and the river, short walk into town. Tarah was very helpful when I decided not to park at the appartment and booked parking for me at the station car park. Parking in the allotted space too difficult. It was up a steep pitch and then on a slope. A smaller, lighter car with a good handbrake might have managed it but my car was too big and heavy.
- Jo (7/5): Good - Location was fine, views great! Noise from appartment upstairs
Dog fur
Fluff & dust on floor
Tv difficult to use
- Thomas (9/5): Lovely little flat - Lovely flat, nicely decorated, tea/coffee etc provided as well as washing tablets. Nice views of Looe harbour, very quiet. Great communication from the owner. The only downside was we were unable to get our car up the very steep bank so had to park elsewhere, then having to carry all our stuff up the bank.
- Sean (8/5): Valentine's Weekend in Looe - Lovley views and great location The sever slope up to the car park and while carrying the suitcases to the apartment the steps seemed to on forever.
- Philip (8/5): Nice location clean flat well provisioned. Access a little difficult for some. - Clean, light & comfortable. Tight steep parking. Also a number of steps up to the flat that would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems.
- Ken (8/5): Very good -
- Sean (10/5): Lovely accommodation, beautiful location, perfect for couples or single travelers. I will be back. - The property has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay, and more. I love the thoughtful touches, such as houseplants that are clearly cared for, interesting books on a range of subjects, blankets, a fully equipped kitchen, and more. It’s hard to find any negatives, but if I had to say something it’s just to point out that there are some steep steps to access the property, so for anyone with limited mobility it may not be ideal. But for most people this will not be a problem.
- Harriet (9/5): Enjoyable stay - Great location, easy walk into town. Modern and well furnished. Smart TV for entertainment.
