Guest Reviews
- Caitlin (8/5): Nice, comfortable stay. Good location. - Very good location (approx. 10-15 minute walk from town/sea front). Lots of nearby cafes, restaurants and shops. Accommodation had all the amenities needed. Big enough space for two plus a small dog. Very clean and comfortable.
Had an issue with one of the sink taps continuously flowing. Reported the issue and it was fixed same day which was great. Duvet cover could have been bigger (it only just fit the bed and me and my partner were unintentionally stealing it from each other all night!). Could also benefit from some clips to fit the bed sheet to the bed.
When walking back from the town, it’s a very uphill walk back to the accommodation. Fine for me and my partner, but just worth mentioning.
Not a major issue, but again worth mentioning that the car parking space provided is quite small. My mini clubman just about fit. Anything bigger would be a struggle to park. If you have more than one car, consider taking the smaller one if you’re staying here!
- Russell (4/5): OVERALL OK. JUST USED AS A BASE, TRAVELLED OUT MOST DAYS - BREAKFAST N/A LOCATIONS WAS GOOD NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOURS
- Joanne (2/5): Don't bother - The kitchen was well equipped, and that is all I can say.... When we first walked in, wow..the smell of damp was overpowering and didn't go. The pictures taken were done very cleverly as it was so tiny. There is not enough room for 2 people and a dog. The stairs were just dangerous as very slippy, and I fell down them. The bedroom was a fair size, but I didn't sleep well at all. The mattress was terrible and so hard. The pillows were awful and needed to be replaced. The duvet was a size too small.
The patio area..not a patio but extremely rough poured concrete that was painful under feet. It also advertised a patio at the front. Very old and rusty table and chairs and some pots that frankly had all seen better days. I was then charged £25 for the dog after the booking was made and couldn't be refunded to be given a list of things the dog couldn't do!! I left 3 days early.. contacted the rental company and got no answer..
