• Philip (6/5): Ok stay. For a new property was already scuffed/damaged - Quiet at night. Reasonable price Location was pretty sketchy. Lots of litter outside and felt not terribly safe. Inside was nice but heaters hanging off walls, paintwork scuffed , sofa on a brick, mattresses weren’t particularly comfy and inadequate towels on arrival

• Michele (9/5): Great value for money - Location great for eating, drinking and entertainment In a quiet area Free on street parking outside Spacious for 4 of us Comfy beds Street was easy to find Little things to consider that could enhance the stay - provide tea towels and hand towels, 2 pillows on each bed, mirror in smaller bedroom, bath mats, welcome hot drink sachet. Despite these little things it's a perfect place to stay and a lovely apartment

• Mrsh (8/5): Nice interior - Cost and exterior let it down - Very close to Utilta arena, perfect for our purposes. Modern, clean apartment, great space, two good sized bathrooms. Kitchen had good range of utensil and equipment. Contacts were prompt ans helpful with access info. Its expensive, given the appearance of the surrounding area. (building site views from all windows) Also - some minor cosmetic things, mentioned in previous reviews from a while back (brick holding up a sofa, radiators hanging off walls, missing blind adjuster in main bedroom) that would take small effort/cost to fix, have been left unresolved Binbags stacked up to almost 8ft right next to front door - didnt smell great. (not really owners fault - but at nearly £200 for one night - it wasnt ideal to see) Can hear the upstairs tenants moving around a lot. Parking limited - and some permit only bays. We had to park 2 streets away.
• Hannah (10/5): great stay, would highly recommend and will return when we have other plans to visit - Imran was on hand just a phone call away if we needed help. but the instructions were very clear and easy to get into the property. there was parking right outside the apartment and was easy walking distance to the arena nothing to fault the staff and the house but there was lots of rubbish outside the apartments (a box of raw chicken) and in the heat smelt really bad. this then meant we couldn't open the windows as the smell was coming inside.

• Chloe (8/5): Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend - We liked how clean and spacious it was and how it looked like a lot of care and attention was put into the place The sofa was balancing on two bricks to replace a broken leg which was fine but it did make it a little bit unstable to sit on and there was no shower gel in either bathroom
• Victoria (8/5): Very good - Not clear instruction to find the house. Its never mention that the house is no 11. The apartment1 is inside which is confusing. But overall the apartment is recommendable, its clean, spacious, and good for money.

• Becky (10/5): Amazing Apartment - Such a fantastic stay here! Walked through the door and wow absolutely stunning apartment, exactly as described and shown in the pictures. We stayed as friends, 2 families of three. It was exceptionally clean and every room stunning. The owners are brilliant, very easy to contact and get back to you very quickly. We were able to check in earlier too... I'm very impressed with this apartment. We were only a short 12 minute walk away to the utility arena for our event which was perfect for the kids! We will definatly be staying again here..

• Laurianne (10/5): Beautiful apartment - The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. Beds were amazing! Home from home everything you need is there. Good location a 15 minute walk from main bars and canal. Host went above and beyond with communication before hand. It was easy to access instructions were clear and everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
• Delia (10/5): Great little spot! - I've been to a couple of places that I've booked now and I've got in to realise it looked good from far but far from good. This was not the case here. We loved this apartment. Everything was really well looked after and clean. Great spot for weekend away from the girls, only about six to eight minutes walk out from town centre and train station. We are definitely going to go back there.

• Kate (10/5): Spacious apartment - Very nicely decorated , spacious The area is literally a building site, buildings waiting to be demolished, not a good sight. Also on arrival the apartment was very cold 12C , took a long time to be warm. Small thing- there was no milk for tea or coffee, couldn’t find a hairdryer.
• Natalie (8/5): Amazing apart from the notice - The property as exactly how it was advertised. We woke up on the morning after our stay to notices on the door stating we were staying there without permission. This was very concerning.

• Jon (10/5): Elegant city centre living - Beautiful property spacious and tastefully decorated meeting all our requirements. Situated in close proximity to the city however very quiet and peaceful location. Imran was exceptional as a host going above and beyond for us. He provided an upgrade to the superb apartment combined with permitting a late checkout that was very much appreciated and nothing was an issue with him checking that everything was to our approval. Will happily be returning when required again. Nothing
• Fern (6/5): It had so much potential to be exceptional - but to have apartments swapped and into something smaller at the last minut - Stunning property. New and designed for a luxurious stay. We were downgraded to a two bed from a three bed property (that we had booked and paid for) with only an hours notice. I had to sleep on the sofa. There was a sofa that I think was supposed to be a sofa bed but it was beyond hard, the sofa was ok. It undermined the entire stay and the host ignored all communication. Such a shame as the property was so thoughtfully designed but I wouldn’t recommend at all.

• Sergio (10/5): Great flat, courteous owner, slightly grotty area - The owner was prompt and proactive. The flat is spick and span, new furniture, very decently equipped, relatively close to centre town. The area is not very lit in the evening. The view from the windows is scruffy and unkempt.

• Lindsay (8/5): Modern apartment. Perfect for a group stay in the city centre. - Lovely apartment, perfect for a group stay. Lovely and clean. Comfortable beds. Easy access to the City Centre. Helpful accommodating host. The property is currently surrounded by building work, which may put some people off, but in fairness it didn’t impact our stay and there wasn’t excessive noise:
• Watson (10/5): Clean and good location - Great location for rail station and for Symphony hall. Very clean and comfortable for what we needed. Good communication from host so just ask if you have questions. Work may be going on outside but not while we were there. Brand new so may not have everything to hand but just check with helpful owner.
• Christie (10/5): Fantastic value for money - The room as exactly as described. Very clean. Very modern. Very pretty. Staff were on hand via phone for anything we needed. Lovely and easy service. Nice and private. Quiet area tucked away. Nothing.

• Mandy (9/5): Superb - Nicely dressed and comfortable. I wouldn’t say these were thing I didn’t like about the property as the property was absolutely fine and lovely and clean. Maybe they could have some milk in the fridge but that’s a very little thing. There were toiletries in the bathrooms which I didn’t expect and again a little thing but most people prefer bath sheets to the smaller bath towel.

• Aimee (8/5): Very good - Apartment was lovely, modern and clean. Really close to the arena which is why we booked. Be wary there are contractor works outside the apartment so we were woken up in the morning by this. Also would be good to have had coffee/tea for the morning :)

Location close to city centre, building work ongoing nearby but no problems with noise. Managed to get parked easily. Host easy to contact, quick response times, accommodating with check in time. Although it looked nice to have the table laid, we didn’t eat in the apartment and had to move everything off the table to be able to use. The floors could have been cleaner, needed hoovering, especially in hallway.

• Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment comes highly recommended! It's well-located, very clean, stylishly decorated and spacious. It's well equipped with everything that you need, and you'll certainly get a good night's sleep in the beds. There's really nothing I could fault, as it really was a pleasure to stay here. The only thing I would raise is that if you're driving parking may be a bit difficult directly outside the property but there is parking in the roads around and a few car parks not too far. I would most definitely recommend staying here. Nothing to dislike.

Lovely large living room for us all to enjoy together. Having 2 bathrooms ideal for 4 ladies! En-suite shower room particular highlight - shower was fantastic! • Sadia (10/5): Fabulous stay - Location is great for access to Birmingham City centre. There is a Tesco nearby and you aren't far from the hustle and bustle of Birmingham. This would be a great place to stay if you are visiting your child at university or for university open days. It is a very clean, spacious apartment, the kitchen is well equipped and the location is great. We are already looking to book again. The owner has a fabulous place and takes good care of it.

The property was in central location which meant it was easy for us to get around. The apartment itself was very clean and was very spacious. I would definitely recommend. As well as the host, he was great at communicating and was very welcoming. What a lovely stay we had! Nothing, everything was amazing!!

• Fokrul (10/5): Great place for staying with family and friends. Very clean with excellent facilities. - We normally book a hotel for the family for any trips away. We decided to book an apartment this time as we have young children and having additional facilities like a fridge would be useful. The reviews on this property were good and needless to say we were not disappointed. I may not book hotels again in the future. The property is newly renovated, well maintained and very clean. The facilities are great with everything you might need for the family including fridge, washing machine, dishwasher etc. The property manager was brilliant and provided all the information I needed and answered any questions. I spoke with him several times. I would use this property again in the future. There is not much to dislike. We stayed during a heat wave, so having a couple of fans could have been useful.

We will definitely stay here again!! - This property was in excellent condition, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, bright and very comfortable. Sloane House was a really lovely place for me and my family to stay and we all would definitely recommend it, it is definitely our number 1 accommodation to stay in when we return to Birmingham again- we wish we had discovered it sooner. Last but not least, the communication from the property was outstanding, whenever we needed to query about something there was a straight direct reply and they were always happy to help and were extremely kind to us, they understood the reason for our visit and made that even more special for us. Thank you Sloan House! There were building works going on outside on the same street but that didn’t impact our stay at all and was very quiet!
