Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (8/5): A convenient and quiet location. - Very quiet and clean. Good sized room. Nothing
- Marta (7/5): -
- Turner (7/5): Room with plenty of facilities but not in nicest of locations, - Nice bed and all utilities you would require. Location wasn’t fantastic. The corridors leading to the room were very dark and creepy. Ground floor room with curtains that didn’t fully cover the window isn’t the nicest thing ever.
- Ronaldo (5/5): Location is okay if you're have something to do in the same area but would not stay again! - No much.... perhaps the quality of the tea bags left. Good tea. The bed is not good at all. It tilts to one side which means we spend the night trying to shuffle back into the middle of the bed.
- Madeline (10/5): - The apartment was clean, cozy, cute, quiet, and incredibly functional! I loved my stay here, I would've stayed longer! It was a bit difficult to find the apartment initially, once inside the building!
- Aitana (10/5): -
- Semetay (10/5): -
- Melanie (10/5): Nos encantó!!! - Era súper cómodo! Estaba completamente equipado.
- Szymanska (10/5): -
- Tracey (2/5): Not comfortable the bed was horrific. No TV. Very minimal. - Nothing at all It was challenging to access with luggage 3x codes & no idea where unit 15 was
- Scott (7/5): -
- Rebecca (8/5): - Good location clean and tidy It was very cold and noisy
- Alexis (5/5): - Great location, nice & clean , accommodation, comfy bed.
selection of teas & coffees available, were a nice touch poor sound proofing, it's a basement room , so could hear the other guests when they were showering or using the toilet
I'm allergic to scents, the 'air fresheners were a tad too many

- Kelly (6/5): -
- Ralph (9/5): Nice, clean and comfortable, with a great location to Brixton Academy - Nice, clean and comfortable, with a great location to Brixton Academy
- Alessandro (7/5): -
- Samantha (6/5): Conveniently located, no frills, good value for money - Location was great, room was clean Shower head does need replacing as it is a dribble, and we didn’t have any hot water? The door could do with a lock on the inside, the only lock with the code is abit wobbly, if I’d have been on my own this would’ve worried me.
- Constantine (7/5): Decent stay - - Quiet neighborhood. Even if Brixton has a bad reputation, I didn't feel unsafe walking around the streets at night. Though this might depend on the season too. The house is relatively away from the "bad" streets of Brixton, but always be vigilant.
- Good value for the price you pay. A decent and clean apartment. Nice bed for solo travelers.
- Very close to the train station and the bus stops that go to central London.
- Tea and coffee offered. - As the previous reviewers say, the instructions to find the apartment are not clear so you have to search the entire building, it's like a labyrinth in there 😆. Long story short, as you enter from the main door you have to turn right and then right again and down the stairs from the fire exit.
- The wifi was not working while I was there. Personally I didn't care cause I had mobile data.
- The windows open just slightly, for security reasons I reckon, so keep that in mind.
- Unfortunately you can clearly hear the neighbors talking from the adjacent apartments, so no sound proofing. While I was there fortunately the neighbors stopped talking after midnight so I had a good sleep.
- Martin (8/5): All good. - Clean, great location, easy access, quiet area great value for money in London. No TV ..but fair enough at that price.
- Delicia (10/5): Perfect from start to finish - Everything Nothing
- Laurentiu (7/5): Clean but hard to sleep with does doors slammed - It was clean. Too much noise created by the doors closing system
- Lisa (8/5): Lovely room - The room was nice and very clean, close to local shops and underground.
Had what we needed. The main door to the property was never locked.. did not need the main door code for the main red door as it could just be pushed open..
Also, the white main door outside where our studio was, was also easily pushed open, and people just in and out.. I didn't feel particularly safe.
- Kerys (10/5): great location, comfy stay & good host - great location, pretty safe area and friendly host with fast communication, really comfortable bed & great to have amenities needed a bit of refurbishment
- Monika (9/5): - Comfortable little space, we just stayed overnight after the concert, great location, great communication with the host, easy to find on the ground floor.
- Riordan (10/5): -
- Yuliia (8/5): -
- Kirstie (8/5): Good location - Good location for Brixton high street or the O2 academy. Not too far from the underground either. Room could do with a fan as it was very warm
- Maria (1/5): Bad -
- Jimy (10/5): Good - It was very clean and tidy The entrance to the room was very difficult to find
- Sarah (7/5): Good - Great location for visiting Brixton Academy On the hottest day/night so far could have done with some air con
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Barnett (9/5): Superb - A top little apartment, perfect to stay after a great evening out in Brixton.
- Rebecca (6/5): Good size room with en suite - Great location! Easy walk to the tube and O2 Academy
It was clean and tidy
Decent size room
En suite with shower and shower gel/shampoo/conditioner
Fridge/freezer
Microwave
Oven
Kettle (with coffee assorted teas and sugar - no milk so need to bring your own) There is a Tesco extra 5 mins walkway
Wardrobe
Table and chairs
The host sent photos of the door etc so I knew what to look for on arrival and sent all the access codes so getting into the property was easy. The curtains are way to thin/light these need to be changed to allow people to get a decent night's sleep.
The pillows need throwing away and replacing they are lumpy and uncomfortable.
The room is a little run down e.g. there was duck tape stuck in areas. The fridge door handle was broken.
Maybe just a suggestion you add in an extra towel to place on the floor to the shower.
- Amanda (9/5): It was marvellous, thank you - It was very close to where we were going easy to find. No TV, but then he wants to sit in a room and watch TV anyway
- Costa (10/5): Comfortable. - The room is large, the bed is comfortable, it smelled good, it has a good bathroom, it has everything it needs, oven, freezer, cutlery. I don't know if it was a boiler that made a lot of noise. I thought the rooms should be more sinalizad and corridors with light. I got lost to find my room.
- Kyro (8/5): Very good -
- Kevin (8/5): Very good - The room was cheap and clean
- Kiera (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good - It was in a quiet area and the building was quiet also.
It was ideal for for a night's layover. It is under a flight path, so a light sleeper may notice noise from 5am.
It was tricky to find the room.
If you head up stairs, you're going the wrong way.
- Derry (8/5): Very good -
- Anamaria (9/5): Superb - Nice, cosy studio within walking distance from Brixton tube station(about 10 minutes). The kitchen is well equipped and the bed pretty comfy. The day of the arrival it was a bit difficult to figure out that the studio was at ground level since the main door leads to a first floor from where one is supposed to walk down two flights of stairs to get to it. Some additional instructions besides the key code for the main door could have helped. There's actually a secondary, much more user-friendly door which leads directly into the street, without the need for walking up and down the stairs, but since we did not have the key, we could only exit. The WiFi didn't work the first day, but then it was fixed.
- Romane (9/5): Superb -
- Evie (10/5): 10/10 absolutely loved it. Will definitely be returning and would recommend. - It was absolutely amazing. Me and a friend stayed here after attending a gig at the o2 Brixton and it was amazing. Perfect location and walking distance from the venue, shops and station. Bed was so comfy, room was spotless and a good size, all kitchen appliances were there and the bathroom was a decent size and so clean! The room was a little bit tricky to find due to the doors looking like fire doors but super easy to get to once you know where you’re going.
- Martyn (9/5): Superb -
- Wendywoo1973 (8/5): Pleasant enough. - The bed was comfortable. The facilities provided were good. Locating the room once inside the building wasn't clear at all. No tv
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - It was clean, tidy and well maintained.
Contact from the property was brilliant and would definitely stay again.
- Colin (9/5): Superb -
- Kelvin (8/5): Great clean and tidy room. - The room is how it is pictured and described - clean, comfortable and nice. The location was good for the access I needed locally in Brixton. The vendor was very nice and helpful. The overall building was a little foreboding at first and the apartment a little tricky to find on the lower levels.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Position
- Montoya (10/5): Very good licational And the flat is exeptional - Exeptional ,very comfortable very cozi, execive clean the kitchen have everithing is need it the Star is very sweet And nice i love it.
- Charlie (9/5): Cute and cozy! - Really cute, cozy little room! Everything you could need in 2 small, well furnished rooms. There is even a microwave! Which I find incredible.
The bed was very comfortable after a long day of travelling and exploring London.
Short 15 minute walk from Brixton tube station and 10 minutes to O2 academy which was exactly what I needed. The area is nice as well, lots of shops, markets and food on the way to the tube.
Nice variety of teas as well as coffee, which was great for packing up in the morning before check out.
Very large wardrobe with mirror front, great for fashion and selfies!
Good amount of electrical sockets so you can charge all your stuff at once in stead of 1 or 2 things at a time.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. They always responded fairly quickly to any messages. I didn't find the honey or chocolate which was a bummer. But some of the cupboards are up high, and I am 4ft 9", so maybe they were up there.
There are 2 entrances to the property, which in itself isn't an issue. But a few rooms (e.g. I was in 15) are more straightforward to find via the white door. When I first when through the red door I couldn't find my room, as it is through a door I initially thought was a fire exit, so I walked past it.
This wasn't a massive issue however as the staff responded and helped me within minutes of messaging them.
