• Marie (10/5): Great short stay in great Vancouver neighbourhood. - The location was great, in a very quiet neighbourhood, with the no. 2 bus just around the corner. We were able to use the shared kitchen if we wished. The bed was very comfortable. Best of all though was our host Rhoda! She was so kind and welcoming and nothing was a problem. She picked us up from the airport and offered to pick our daughter up the next day also, even though she wasn't staying at Rhoda's. Communication on WhatsApp was excellent in advance of our arrival. The basement bedroom was just a little too hot at night without air con.

Then she also fed me delicious food for supper, and also breakfast! She went above and beyond and I am very grateful. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you!

• Ivan (9/5): Clean and cozy room with own bathroom in a private house. - Located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Free parking by the street. Good option instead of staying in expensive hotels or uncomfortable hostels. The host was extremely hospitable and caring, offering me breakfast and helping me with the luggage when checking out. The location might be a bit harder to access by a public transport, but perfect if you have a car.

Rhoda also drove us to a nearby restaurant on the night we arrived as it was raining. Lovely facility. Continental breakfast very nice. Would highly recommend.

We especially appreciated the early check-in, as the hosts kindly made this possible for us. • Yoshifumi (7/5): そこそこ満足 - 部屋も共用部分も清潔でした。いわゆる民泊タイプで、スタッフの常駐はなかったものの、時々あったスタッフの印象は良かったです。エリアが安全で静かな住宅地だったこと。 壁が薄く、隣室の音が気になっり、私自身も出来るだけ音をたてないようにした。ロケーションが一般住宅の中で、飲み物や朝食を買うのには、あまり便利が良くなかった。

Room was beautiful, clean and very cozy and host Rhoda was amazing! She is very sweet and caring and made us feel at home. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver! • Joyce (10/5): A charming place to stay in quieter area of Vancouver - It is a beautifully furnished property. The host Rhoda was so kind thoughtful and generous, offering to spend time with us taking us to Stanley Park and drive round the sights. We were able to do much more than we thought possible in our 3 day stay and enjoyed Rhoda's company very much. We did travel to the wonderful museum and botanic garden by bus from a nearby bus stop, using our debit card easily and cheaply. There is a kitchen which Rhoda encourages you to help yourself to get tea and coffee. We were lucky enough to sample her blueberry puree she was making, we even had fresh fruit left in our room. It is close to restaurants and the main bus route into the city Nothing I can think of.

• anna (6/5): ok, staff was nice when we dropped off lugguge but nothing else was explanied - nice room and staff member was very nice not sure if its booking.com fault as no info was sent before we got there about locked box and info about place. There was no info about if we could make a cup of tea and use the premises downstairs. No extra pillows as the ones that were there were too soft and no sheets only quilt and it was too hot to have it on.

Whilst we had a small mix up Rhoda went out of her way to rectify straight away. Friendly & a good communicator.

• Steffen (10/5): - The property is very clean, spacious and well looked after. The house itself is silent and located on a quiet and beautiful street, meaning I slept like a baby. Rhoda was a wonderful and kind host, who took the time to explain everything a guest might need or want to know, and she even recommended a few local sights — the VanDusen Botanical Garden, Queen Elizabeth Park and the Pacific Spirit Regional Park are all within walking distance. Mind you, it’s not Central Vancouver, so if you’re looking for something at the historical heart of town, you’ll have to travel in. All in all, Campus Haven is super safe, super clean and super lovely. I would stay again next time I’m in town!
• Darek (5/5): Extremely nice hostess in nice neighborhood but room left a lot to be desired not for elderly couple - Hostess was very friendly and accommodating but somewhat difficult to understand as she had an accent and we are hearing impaired No adjoining bathroom and not clean toilet had to be flushed before our first use, no closet or TV bedroom was a media room with a bed placed in middle. Had to leave shoes at front door and room was down stairs in the basement.

• Jackie (7/5): Not impressed - Bed was so uncomfortable. The room was too hot and I could not get another window open. Not suitable for a solo traveller. I tried to talk to the owner about the owner about getting the shower to work as i couldn't get the pull to transfer the water direction. I asked her to leave it like that, but she pushed it back and left the room. Nothing was explained properly regarding facilities, apart from that I had to do it myself which I was expected. I understand it's the family home, but I do not expect to trip over shoes that's left lying around by everyone when trying to walk through the door.

• Daniel (9/5): Eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen - Die Unterkunft ist luxuriös und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Rhoda hat uns wunderbar umsorgt und ist auf uns eingegangen. Die Beschreibung der Zimmer bezüglich Bettenanzahl ist missverständlich. Aber Rhoda war da sehr verständnisvoll und hat das für uns geregelt.

Rhoda is a wonderful host — super organized, kind, and always available. We could help ourselves to breakfast in the kitchen and enjoyed relaxing on the lovely terrace. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and getting downtown was easy — just a 20–30 minute bus ride. Highly recommended!

I met with some challenges at the airport..she helped me and put me & my hubby up for another nite with much ease and provided dinner for us as we have to get our travel the next day. have time to go out for dinner. Nothing that is unfavourable..the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Once you get around, it is convenient to go Downtown Vancourer by a direct bus no. 2..just a block away from where we stay.

The room had plenty of space, very clean, and the hostess was amazing, she was more then willing to help me with any of my questions as well as assist with both my pre/post travel plans.
