Guest Reviews
- Adachi (10/5): Great -

- Ken (9/5): A top choice - Low price Excellent location proximity to supermarket and places to eat not too touristy Nothing
- CLAUDIA (9/5): - Es sencillo pero tiene todo lo necesario, buena ubicación, buen precio, me encanto que tenía calefacción El baño podría limpiarse con más frecuencia
- Ken (9/5): Hard to beat at this price - The price not much more than a bed in a dorm in a hostel it's location in an area surrounded by places to eat and a next door to a A101 supermarket close to Halic metro not too touristy warm clean and 24 hr reception so come and go as you please Nothing really for this price a bit extra I believe you get a kettle
- Zainab Opemipo (8/5): -
- Alessandro (7/5): - Rubber shoes in the room!
- Razvan (9/5): Very good for this price - Very good!

- 翰廷 (8/5): Despite of the cons, it is recommended if you have limited budgets. - The staff are kind and willing to help. Specially, they lent me a hairdryer, which is not explicitly listed as a facility. Soundproof is not good. The bathroom is not clean enough. The staff know little English.
- GERRIT (9/5): -
- Evgeniia (8/5): - In a city centre, your own room for this price is perfect Outlet was not near the bed.
- Norbert (7/5): Good for short stay - It was in good centre position Mould in the toilet, it was too warm at night and it was not possible to turn the heating down. I had to open the window but the street was very noisy.

- Ken (9/5): Hotel standards at Hostel prices Incredible value single rooms in Fantastic location - Great value for a single room Excellent location next to a mini mart and in an area full of eating options and full of character and charm 24 hr reception Towels toiletries
The toilet facilities were brand New
cable TV and slippers too Things and details you wouldn't expect at this price point Amazing absolutely Faultless for the price can't wait to go back Nothing really except there wasn't any cooking facilities or kettle available but it's a Hotel rather than a Hostel
The receptionist had very basic English but he was able to contact a member staff over the phone who spoke perfect English So Absolutely Nothing worth complaining about
- Nazerke (10/5): - Все было чисто и аккуратно, персонал очень вежливый, отзывчивые люди. 5 мин до метро Халич! Все супер! Большое спасибо!!!
- Kosntantin (10/5): -
- Franco (9/5): - Location, in one of the main neighborhoods of Istanbul. Very lively area until midnight, full of good places to eat.
Nice staff. The room for one person is small but enough.
- Nadzeya (10/5): -
- bunkua (8/5): - Clean and staff very good ...
- PaolaNakada (10/5): Affordable private room and kind host - I really enjoyed my stay here! I had a private room at a very affordable price, and the neighborhood had plenty of shops and places to buy what I needed. Public transport was about 10–15 minutes away on foot, and as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe in the area. The bathrooms were shared but always clean, and although there was some noise, it didn’t bother me.
The older man at reception was incredibly kind — even though we didn’t speak the same language, we communicated perfectly with a translator. On my last day, my airport driver was an hour late, and he patiently waited with me the whole time, which I really appreciated. The only downside is that it’s not very close to the city center, but it’s easy to get there by Uber or public transport.

- Vincenzo (6/5): - Location Wc orribile
- Abdurakhmon (10/5): - Отлично 👍
- Benjo (9/5): - Very good price in an old part of the city. Plenty of food choices, and close to Halic metro, buses, and Kucukpazar tram. Very clean. A little Turkish goes a long way.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Olga (7/5): Belle - L'emplacement L'odeur
- Rui (6/5): -
- Nora Prytz (8/5): -
- Petr (8/5): - Nice location close to Halic metro station, Galata, Egyptian bazaar, not so close to the main attractions but still. Lots of doner around working until late hours. The hotel itself is simplistic which is understandable with this price The single room is small, and (as far as I've noticed) there is just one shower per floor and it is located in the bathroom, so when it's occupied, there is just a toilet and a small sink available
- Kajus (8/5): - Kambarys, švaros priemonės. Priėmė net 5 ryto sugrįžus. Fainiai. Toliau, labai padorus apgyvendinimas už tokią kainą, 30 min pėstute nuo centro+-
Mažas kambarys, bet man patiko - jauku. Nebuvo šiukšledėžės, tik kolidoriuose bendros.
- Julian (7/5): - The hostel is really well located, a short walk from the Grand Bazaar and other tourist attractions, metro and tram links plus decent local restaurants. There is also a small supermarket more or less next door. My room was adequate. The furniture was a bit jaded but the bed was clean and comfortable, with a fan provided. The room and bathroom were a little cramped, but perfectly adequate for a short stay.
- Peter Neil (7/5): -

- Danica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Willian (8/5): Very good -
- Zack (7/5): Budget hotel for solo traveler - Location is fine , 5 minute walk from T1 tram and metro station. Not sure if it’s the problem of cleanness. My skin gets red dots after staying 1-2 days.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Nicholas (7/5): Good -
- Ing (9/5): First time Istanbul - A good value for the money. Was very clean and close to metro station and bus station. Staff doesn't speak English. Only few of them can understand you if their shifts corespond with your stay period.
- Nazarena (8/5): Cheap private room in great location of European side - Lovely people work in this hotel, they don’t speak English but always willing to communicate through translator. Good location for European side, cheap for a private room The shared bathroom get dirty very easily, they need to be cleaned more often, they doesn’t smell well
- Egor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Spyridon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Dylan (6/5): Cheap and great location, but facilities were not well kept. - The property was in an amazing location which was easy to access and walk around the city. The floor in my room was dirty when I arrived and my sheets had several stains in them. The communal bathroom also had a strong mouldy smell to it.
- Berisha (7/5): Good -
- Samina (7/5): You get what you pay for - Located near the non touristy parts meant non tourist prices which was good for budget travellers like myself and price was good for a private room. Someone at reception most of the time which was good. Cameras on every floor for security. Shared bathroom on 3rd floor stank sometimes like it was the sewage. Loud noise coming from outside which is unavoidable i understand but even with the window closed and earplugs I found it difficult to sleep. In the morning someone downstairs kept slamming the door shut which woke me up often.
- Zuhair (8/5): Very good -
- Edwin (8/5): Very good - Some outside noise.
- Carmine (7/5): Good -
- Muhammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vadim (10/5): Exceptional - Good room for a good price. Convenient location.
- Stan (9/5): Many flaws yet a very solid choice if you are looking for a private room on a tight budget. - Very acceptable for the money. The bed is very comfortable. The location is great too. Simply said, it's far from exceptional, but it is exceptional for this price. Many things: The light of the hallway keeps coming through the glass of the door. The walls let lots of noice through which is a shame when your neighbour is loud. The shower wasn't working on my floor. No atmosphere.
- Giancarlo (10/5): Exceptional - Overall the owner of the hotel very kind available to help me in all fields
- Egor (8/5): Very good -
- Evgenii (8/5): Very good -
- Antoni (2/5): Very poor - The room was dirty, there were old stains visible on the floor, the desk and in the wardrobe.
- Gerda (7/5): Good - Very good price for it's convenient location near the Bosphorus ferries metro station and spice market.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Marcin (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff at the reception, rooms clean and tidy, top location, low price. Just perfect -
- Mikael (7/5): Great place to overnight at a reasonsble price - Price, location If they provided drinking water, at least for extra pay, that would have been good. I arrived in the middle of the night and that was tough.
- Muhammad (7/5): Good -
- Guillaume (10/5): __/ THANK YOU \__ -
- Levente (8/5): Very good - Simple, small but clean room, good value for money.
- Rosstapher (8/5): Enjoyed for a few nights! - Great value if booked ahead of time and a good part of the city. Excellent cheap Turkish priced food right next to the hotel Maybe the stuffiness of the rooms
- Geza (9/5): Really good value for money - Really really good location, walking distance from the bus stops, and I also walked there from the Grand Bazaar (25-30 minutes walk). Good street with plenty of fast food options. For a very cheap price, it is a perfect place to sleep. The room is small, but it was clean. The toilet and the shower are in 1 room. This means that if someone takes a shower, the entire floor will be wet. If you want to use the toilet after someone took a shower, when you sit on the toilet, your jeans will become wet because the entire floor is wet. The shower and the toilet should be separated, or at least the toilet should be 10-20cm elevated, so the area doesn't get wet.
- Valentina (10/5): Exceptional - I honestly loved this hotel. It was ridiculously cheap compared to both hostals and similar hotels. The facilities were much better than I expected. The room was very clean. I appreciated so much having a desk, a closet and a slippers for the shower. Even the communal bathrooms were clean. I also really liked the location. I found so many cheap restaurants around and I was always a couple of minutes away from whenever I needed to go. I totally recommend it. I couldn't check in early even though I requested it. This is probably out of their control but it meant I had to wait outside of the hotel for like 6 hours.
- Karoline (4/5): Disappointing - For one night is ok, the bed is comfortable and the hot shower works.
Location is also ok, walking distance from a few attractions The whole place is super noisy, I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights with people banging the doors and being loud all night. The bathroom stinks and is really hard to use it . Not enough toilet paper
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Hsiang-chi (10/5): When I was about to leave Turkey, the airport I was departing from was different from the one I arrived at and was locat - At this price, I think it is already great and comfortable enough.
Although there is no elevator, only stairs, the owner was very kind and helpful with carrying the luggage during check-in and check-out.
Hi highly recommend this hotel:) None
- Pedro (3/5): Poor - it seems like a prison, but for the price it is what it is
- Derek (8/5): Very good - Good location, nice and clean. Great value for money. Nothing
- Mehran (9/5): I will definitely go back there if I still want to travel on a budget - This was definitely the best place I could have booked for that price, especially if you're traveling on a budget. Although I was a bit shocked when I first arrived because it didn't look as good as I expected, the longer I stayed, the more I loved it. While there was only one receptionist who spoke English, I was able to ask for everything I needed using Google Translate, and they were very hospitable and welcoming in helping me. (e.g, I wanted to iron my shirts and they gave me one, I wanted to wash my clothes and they found me a tub and detergent). I think the location is excellent. It’s not a touristy area, so the restaurants and bakeries around are cheaper than everywhere else, but at the same time, you're very close to all the major monuments you want to visit, like the famous mosques (Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmed, Topkapi). They're all nearby. Also, if you want to go to Taksim, you just have to walk about 200 meters, go up that beautiful bridge, take the metro, and in 5-6 minutes, after passing two stations, you’ll arrive at Taksim. Also I was not bothered with the shared bathroom and it was always empty whenever I wanted to use. No air conditioner! I thankfully was there in late summer so I could tolerate there with only a fan that was there, but I think If it was mid-summer, I would melt.
No elevator, I was on the third floor, and walking up many times during the day makes you exhausted.
Another minor problem (at least for me) was that their safe box is only available during working days from morning to the afternoon, so you cannot actually use it.
Other than that, It was really a fantastic experience.
- Evelyn (6/5): Cheap, central, but not very comfortable - Good value. The room was exactly as pictured in the photo, no AC but the fan worked. The bathroom was ok. Hot water shower. It was a 7min walk from Haliç metro which was very convenient, and you could walk to the famous sites. Supermarket next door. The hostel was mostly men, I would not recommend it for a solo female. The bathroom was in use by a lot of people and men walking around in towels...not so comfortable for a woman alone. Also one bathroom per floor meant having to wait a lot. Not the best area to walk around: loads of street lights out, dark quiet alleyways, not an inviting place to walk after dark. The immediate area is fine and full of places to eat. It was cheap for the area and probably fine if you're a man but I didn't feel comfortable staying here.
- Nidheesh (1/5): Very bad experience - I was deeply disappointed with my stay. The hotel’s 4-star rating is misleading. The location is poor, the room was on the 3rd floor with no lift, and the only bathroom was smelly. The room itself was sticky, and the glass portion in the door let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. It feels like the reviews might be paid, as they don’t reflect my experience.
- Mohammad (10/5): A great value! - Jon, the receptionist, was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, and I was able to sleep soundly. The room is clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. Overall, excellent value for money. Will comback. Nothing
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Saleem (9/5): Superb -
- Adnan (7/5): Good - Good location and good price No air conditioning, very hot at night and a lot of mosquitoes
- Luke (7/5): Good value for money - It wasn’t the flashiest place though was definitely good value for money. The room was basic but had all you need for a comfortable sleep. The area surrounding hostel felt a bit dodgy. Also my room had no AC, which didn’t bother me as a fan was provided, though something to consider.
- Miguel (9/5): Superb -
- Elena (9/5): The perfect price-quality ratio, cleanliness - It really good for it's price. Everything is very clean. It has a necessities like soap, shower gel and rubber slippers for a shower. It doesn't have an air condition, but has a fan. The staff is nice and helpful. It located in a place with a lot of shops and locantas. Although I arrive here at night, I felt safe. The transparent glass in the door. I think it would be great to cover it with paint or paper to keep out the light from the corridor. Also the door also lets sound through easily. And there are seagulls scream under the window but it's not a problem of the hotel.
- Luis (10/5): Great location, nice staff - Very good value for money.
Great location.
Nice staff
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - The hospitality of the owner was great. Some of the reception staff didn't know a Word of english but were friendly.
- Holly (1/5): Not good for solo female travellers - One of the receptionists was nice. I didn’t feel safe here as a woman on my own, and left after one night. There was also no A/C, and the shared bathroom was not clean. The area is well-located but feels a bit sketchy as a woman on her own.
- Leonard (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rhandy (10/5): Exceptional - functional, clean and good value for money
