- Daukniene (8/5): - Lovely place in a rural area. Very clean, and had everything for our stay. For those who like walking is a great place to stay.
- Josephine (10/5): - The cottage was very welcoming on arrival as the Christmas tree and all the decorations were lovely! The beds were all comfortable too. We managed to cook Christmas dinner for 10 of us ,as family live nearby. A nice addition would also be a pint of milk as it's in a rural area. The welcome bottle of wine and homemade shortbread were delicious.
The views are beautiful and it's in a lovely location. Using what3words would make the cottage easier to find though especially when arriving at night. We enjoyed seeing the stars and beautiful sunrises !
- Mark (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful cottage, clean, modern and spacious. Parking just outside. Comfortable living room, kitchen with appliances. For the same price as two rooms at the nearest hotel! Hosts friendly and welcoming. Lovely quiet area. Only slight grumble would be that there needs to be some lights between the car parking spot and the door. Bring a torch!
- Sophie (8/5): Beautiful place. - Lovely place, spacious and clean. We were there for a funeral and ended up getting there very late at night as one of my friends had an emergency. We had the code for the key box which was very handy. It truly is a very beautiful place to stay. No tea coffee sugar or soap.
- Peter (1/5): An extremely disappointing experience - The house is spacious and decorated nicely. We were very disappointed with our stay at this accommodation. Upon arrival, the cottage did not feel clean or welcoming: it smelled strongly of dog, the sofas in the living room carried the same odor, the carpet was full of hair, and the living room floor was dusty and littered with debris. We had to sweep part of the floor ourselves to make it somewhat cleaner.
The kitchen also felt unhygienic. Some dishes and cutlery still had food residues, the extractor hood was covered in thick dust, and the stove knobs looked as though they had not been cleaned for some time. The extractor itself barely worked, which meant the kitchen filled with steam while cooking. Next to that the dining table felt sticky.
In the bathroom we found what appeared to be a fecal stain on the floor next to the toilet. Cobwebs and dust were present throughout the house, and there was no vacuum cleaner available for us to clean anything ourselves. In addition, several basic amenities were missing: only one dish towel, no hand soap, and not a single laundry pod.
After reporting these issues, no action was taken other than an apology and a note that the cleaning team would be spoken to. Our follow-up message about the bathroom stain was not answered to at all.
Overall, this stay fell far below expectations, especially considering the positive reviews we had read beforehand. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this accommodation. Although we hope this was a 'one-time only' mishap for this accommodation.

- James (10/5): A very comfortable house, very clean, spacious and well presented - Very well prepared house, excellent facilities with everything we needed for our stay
- Mark (9/5): Very peaceful - Nice bach, very spacious, clean and warm. Quiet rural location. Nothing to complain about but a couple of friendly suggestions to the hosts - please provide a small supply of essentials such as sugar, salt, pepper, hand soap for the bathrooms and a pod or two for the washing machine. There's no nearby shops and most guests will not carry these basic items whilst touring.
