Extremely expensive for the money. Taking advantage of the Thursford spectacular business. Owner had a terrible cold and was not wearing a mask or gloves to cook or serve breakfast.

The house is full of character, very clean, and the breakfast was just excellent! If I ever need a place to stay in that part of the world again, I'll check availability of this B&B first. Lovely breakfast One first arrival the outside is a little off putting with two broken windows but no fault of the hosts.

The table at breakfast time looked a real picture and the breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh fruit salad. Really friendly staff who made you feel at home. We stayed in room 3 and found the mattress a bit low and a bit soft compared to what we are used to

- Hayley (10/5): Great accommodation! Totally recommend. - Very cozy and clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Nothing
- kim (1/5): Very disappointed - I do not know why his accomodation had previous good reviews. I do not want to go into to much detail.
But cleanliness was not brilliant and put me off eating there or staying there, i left and went somewhere else. This does not let me put on more photo but there was more unclean things than i cant show here. and the big humps in the bed, which i thought was quilt are actually the matteress itself. The sheet had been launderd. But the silver bed cover was smelly. On shutting the room was quite smelly. There were alot more negetives but thats enough now. I would never go there again.
- Patricia (10/5): Great stay exactly what we wanted - Very quaint

- Dominic (7/5): Superb breakfast - Breakfasts were amazing, very clean, bed linen excellent Shower could have been warmer, mattress a little uncomfortable, needed a memory foam topper
- Chapman (8/5): Hidden gem run by an excellent host. - It was clean and comfortable.
I had an evening meal there of roast pork and it was proper home cooked fair of excellent quality as was the inclusive breakfast in the morning all cooked by the hosts mother.
The hotel had a lovey homely feel to it and was in my opinion a hidden gem.
Bathroom was spotless and roomy, bed comfortable in-fact I had the best night sleep in ages. TV was way too small.
- Thomas Selvaraj (9/5): Quaint 14th century building - Very clean and dust free. The area around is quiet!
It's better than a hotel. Facilities were well catered for, including free milk and diet coke in the fridge.
There are plenty of sockets to use for charging in the rooms.
Everything was tidied after we left the room for the day!
Free parking space.
Excellent ordered and cooked breakfast every morning. The fruit salad was delicious, and so was every other item that we had as it was all fresh! The pillows were too soft!
- Jane (10/5): - It’s quaint and quirky. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, all freshly cooked Nothing everything was good
- Andrea (9/5): - The location was perfect for our visit to the heritage festival. The setting at breakfast was amazing, with VJ Day the day before the village had a party. The historic memorabilia and antiques in the dining room and beyond were brilliantly laid out with great attention to detail. It was like a patriotic museum. Proud to be British, then you must stay here, first class!
