- Mcdonald (9/5): Fantastic stay in this very comfy clean well located property - Spacious and well laid out for a group get together. Clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and comfortable to hang out in. Lovely welcome touches - Lurpak, bread, milk and Prosecco !! Great dog friendly with safe secure garden easy walk to lovely pubs in ilkley. Fantastic time The rooms could have a little more coziness but they did have the basics and did the job .
- Emma (9/5): brilliant house would def recommend and stay again -
- Sue (9/5): Beautiful home in a lovely town, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. - Spacious house, 5 adults and 2 children and we never felt at all cramped. Lovely garden. Beautiful kitchen with everything we needed. Super bathrooms with amenities and fluffy towels provided. The host also provided a few treats, that were unexpected, but much appreciated. It would be nice to have barbecue facilities available, as there is a lovely outdoor seating area and spacious garden.
- Samia (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely lovely, comfortable house and garden in a quiet area near the city center, main shopping centers and best hikes. The equipments were beyond our expections. The landlord was available and friendly.
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (10/5): Stress free and lovely to find a place to stay to fit the family in together. - Easy to find, enough parking for 3 cars. Beautiful garden. Comfy bed. Big kitchen where we gathered for breakfast and after the wedding sat and had a cup of tea. Plenty of room for 6 adults and no falling over each other. Really lovely to have prosseco, milk, bread, jam, butter and biscuits ready for us. That was a God send as the village shop for some reason had closed for the weekend which was not normal.
We had a lovely stroll around the area after arriving having sat 8 hours in a car. The locals were friendly and I think they must have been going for best villiage as everyone's gardens were gorgeous. Fish and chips from local business was also good. Really easy stay and took all the stress out.
Paul our host was great at communication and gave us all the info we needed. Instructions for the coffee machine were to hand but I am sorry to say I chickened out. Coffee, tea and sugar were also provided. Infact it was like arriving at a good hotel. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back when the next wedding is organised. Nothing although I forgot Yorkshire has such soft water! Had trouble getting the soap off!!
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (10/5): Lovely property for short or extended stay. - Everything. A lovely property. All mod cons. Fully fitted kitchens. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two seating areas each with a 60"tv with Sky box. Nice secluded garden with seating area.
- Linda (10/5): Very comfortable beds, and bathroom facilities plus eating areas. were great. Cosy Lounge. - We were self catering, which was easy with items provided by Paul. Bread, milk, tea, coffee etc. Being a large kitchen area, the litter bin was the wrong end of the Island
- Salma (8/5): Excellent property once the plumbing issues get fixed - Lovely location, well fitted kitchen, nice garden, lovely views The en-suite shower is partially blocked and the water doesn’t drain out quickly. We ended up using the main bathroom. The main bathroom has an unpleasant smell due to the toilet leaking. We could see water on the floor in the morning around the toilet.
- Varun (9/5): Wonderful stay very close to yorkshire dales and attractions. - Plenty of utensils in the kitchen to cook and quite spacious. House gets plenty light and kitchen and lounge space is quite big to spend time with friends and family. Conviniently located near tesco and other utilities with plenty of places to eat and roam around near by. I believe the beds could be little better with mattresses.
- Julia (10/5): Paul’s rental is great. The photos don’t do it justice. We were a family of a 1 & 3 year old, their parents, us as g - Everything. Just a great place for the whole family and the dog. Nothing
- Martyn (10/5): Couldn’t fault the property and the owner was really helpful. - Good size. Ideal for our purpose
- Lucy (9/5): Exceeded Expectations - The property exceeded expectations, lovely social spaces and fantastic kitchen. Beds are also really comfortable. Parking is a bit tricky off main road and any fits 3 cars, but there is roads near by to park.
- Coggon (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful house in a lovely location. Very comfortable and homely.
- Sammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (9/5): Super well equipped house. Everything had been thought of for a very comfortable stay. - Super well equipped kitchen. Two large TVs with Sky. Super walk in shower. Plenty of storage space in bedrooms. All very clean. Light and warm and a few goodies to welcome us on our arrival..
- Ammaarah (10/5): Do not hesitate to book this gem! - Driving up from the south & midlands, we came up for a family wedding and boy did this place exceed our expectations. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 children (4 & 1) and everything was provided for a family stay. Travelling with kids, the unexpected washes (not just a full laundry room, but pegs & non bio all stocked up!), the extra wc downstairs, 2 whole stylish bathrooms upstairs including a bathtub, the space for storage, the small touches, the comfy bed linen, all really added to the experience.
We travel often as individuals/families so were blown away by attention to detail. 2 living rooms and TV's for when we needed space from each other to work whilst away, access to the garden from various locations, a beautiful garden with somewhere to actually dry the clothes and for the baby to run around in.
We were also given bread, butter, milk (essentials!) and a bottle of bubbly (we don't drink but appreciate others may) & some ice lollies in the freezer which the kids loved. Absolutely loved the kitchen island, open plan living area and ofcourse the full tv package so we don't miss our favourite shows.
Do not hesitate to book, you will be amazed. Thank you so much and looking forward to staying again. N/A (I don't think i've ever had nothing to say in this regard, everything exceeded our expectations!)
- Gary (9/5): Excellent . Thanks for the extra supplies nice touch - The kitchen Nothing
- Herbert (10/5): The best Yorkshire based holiday let in 11 years! - A very lovely house in Ben Rhydding. Just 15 mins walk to Ilkley and a 20 min walk to the Cow and Calf. The house and garden were extremely spacious and clean. The amenities were excellent - two large flat TVs with full SKY package, a kitchen with two fridges and freezers; plenty of cooking utensils and an amazing gas stove/ electric oven. Having had a 5 hrs + journey, it was such a pleasant surprise to find milk, butter, bread, chocolate biscuits and a bottle of fizz in the fridge. I cannot recommend it enough. Having holidayed in Yorkshire for the past 11 years with my, now, teenagers, having a comfortable base makes our trips so much more enjoyable. And I would say this house, with it's location to town, is definitely top of my holiday let experiences. Thank you very much Paul
- Wanqing (10/5): The most enjoyable stay at a house - It’s the best place we had found for value. Convenient location, clean and comfortable. Lovely garden. Big and well equipped kitchen. Extra toilet downstairs. Washer and dryer None
- Karen (10/5): Loved the house so much we didn’t want to leave! - Location was perfect for us to celebrate my Mum’s 80th with friends and family. We loved the garden and the spacious living kitchen - perfect! Paul (host) was extremely helpful and welcoming, even leaving some Prosecco for us to help celebrate.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
