- Darren (10/5): Great experience - Out of the way place ,lovely and quiet, only a 10 min walk to main st , tipi was stunning , very comfortable and everything u need ,host was very pleasant, good value for money and ill be back again Quiet a steep walk up to tipi but we'll worth it for the view

- Raul (10/5): Lovely off-grid tipi experience! - Everything was very comfortable even being an off-grid tipi. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a stove and kettle to heat up our dinner and make coffee and tea! We were expecting more of a camping style so this was very thoughtful and kind of Eileen, our host. The tipi itself was warm and comfortable and it was a very fun experience! I don't have anything bad to say about this location! Everything exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable.
- Michelle (10/5): Stunning location, lovely hosts, perfect glamping set-up. -
- Robyn (9/5): Loved this authentic peaceful stay connected to nature - Stunning views, peace. Good people
- Marianne (10/5): Delightful Experience - A very unique experience that will stay out from all others. Outside facilities close by, convenient and clean. Lighting present in tent. Owner drove us up to site and back to our car the next day. Just because we are older with physical problems it was hard to get in and out if tent, but we are so glad we tried it.
- lorenzo (10/5): - Vista magnifica e esperienza divertente.

- William (10/5): Exceptional - Great location the host was amazing looking after us wonderful
- Niall (10/5): Great location, clean accommodation and very helpful hosts - Great location and views we booked the tipi but unfortunately weather was poor , we were upgraded to one of the pods , comfortable , clean also a loo with a view 😂 and 10 mins walk into village. Good if you could get vehicle near accommodation but Andrew happy to transport up on ATV which is fine
- Kenny (9/5): Overnight stay in the comfort of an A frame hut which was comfortable and excellent hosts - Eileen & Andrew greeted us on arrival and provided us with lots of helpful information. With heavy rain forecast overnight and a cancellation for the A frame building we had a switch from the tipi. It was a great experience with a comfortable bed and we both had a great nights sleep after a long day doing the NC500. Well situated for an overnight stay with lovely hosts. It’s off grid with solar power to recharge your gadgets so it doesn’t have the luxury of a tv. Outdoor shower and toilet but we knew that and we enjoyed chatting with the night still being light at 11pm.
- Elaine (10/5): Fantastic experience! - Funky, fun, and a wee adventure. If you want 5 star this is not for you, however for those who have life in their soul you should do it. Fantastic hosts, view to die for. We booked a tepee, but the A frame was available so we chose it only because it had windows. We were introduced to the farm animals, we had tea and a bottle of wine overlooking the loch. Been on a touring holiday 2 weeks and this was the highlight. Even tried the outdoor shower which worked perfectly!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic experience
- A (10/5): Andrew and Eileen are warm and welcoming hosts.Thank you for the lovely memories we will take away - Beautiful surroundings
Unforgettable experience
- Dickson (10/5): This was a charming experience with warm, funny, and accommodating hosts! - Andrew and his wife were delightful, and this was a unique and fun experience! The view was amazing and we got a kick out of listening to the rain and the bleating of nearby sheep. We definitely recommend the breakfast; it was very good, hot, and plentiful and was delivered right to our door. Everything was as expected, so there was nothing we didn’t like. It is exactly as advertised. A bit off the beaten track, but in a good way!
- Tony (7/5): Good -

- A (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely hosts in an incredible setting.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): A great experience with a beautiful view - The host, Andrew and his dog, Murphy were very kind and friendly. Andrew offered to upgrade our teepee to cabin to have a more comfortable night. However, we liked our teepee experience. The teepee is thoughtfully setup with kitchen, toilet and shower facilities. Very cosy and serene surrounding with a great view. None
- Peter (9/5): Andrew and Eileen made us feel very welcome - Andrew and Eileen made us feel very welcome, and even upgraded us from a teepee to a lodge gratis as the weather was quite extreme.
We paid for a great breakfast in the morning, which set up up for the day. Fabulous views over the Loch and a good location for touring. Nothing really.
- Henk (1/5): All together bad experience. Don´t go there in the Mosquitto season! - First Evening with good weather was very nice, beautiful view. Bett is really comfortabel. He was very friendly and helpfull Ather that only bad things to say:
Shower did not Funktion, most oft he lights did not funktioin either. Afther the first cold night we could not leave the Teepee anymore. Wenn it wasn´t raining the wind died and Clouds of Mosquitos where attacking. We where there the last week of May, officially the Mosquitto season ist June-August.
They promissed to repair the Lights that Morning but he went to work and Eileen had some sort of Injury. Eileen where also not supportive to find alternative housing (Therfore others in Lochcarron).
Also to Expensive! Not only while Shower and lights did not funktion. There ist really not much in the kitchen to work with. And with bad weather it is a very dark Teepee.
Last thing to say: Afther loading 2 Mobile Phones, the batery was almost empty and not much sun in the forcast to reload.
All together bad experience. Don´t go there in the Mosquitto season!
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent set up, beautiful views, surrounded by animals, tipi was cozy and comfortable bed, lovely cooking facilities
- Annie (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing views, animals around, complete peace and quiet. Wonderful. All was very good
- Stephen (9/5): Very welcoming . And flexible . - Unique
- Andrew (7/5): Cheap and oh so cheerful - I had a great time in the TiPi for 2 nights. The TiPi itself is great, super comfy inside and really spacious. The solar charged battery was a nice touch to keep devices charger and lights on in the dark. Beautiful setting, and a short walk from the local town.. Lovely views all around and friendly farm animals around. The shower is really just a bucket and a small pump, so I showered at a gym on Skye instead. I don't think this was terrible actually and made for a great experience. I'll never forget how under prepared I was for the midges so bring your repellent- this is not a poor reflection on this place.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the location, it was so remote that you could really be one with nature and take a step back from everyday life. The bed was luxurious, and the Tipi was also very spacious. The staff were very very friendly, they helped us feel at home and even provided us with free beer! What's not to like!
- Sebastian (8/5): Interesting experience. - Very good sleep and comfortable despite the cold / wind / weather outside Not much once you get used to it. Perhaps needs some house slippers. Without those it’s a barefoot walk to the outdoor toilette/kitchen.
- Michal (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): sizzling steak, gin and tonic, misty rain and mountains - This was ideal for who I am and what I want. Cooking facilities, toilet, shower. comfortable bed, beautiful scenery. I'd choose this over a posh hotel everytime. You can keep your Gleneagles. This is what I like
- Rob (10/5): A fun relaxing quirky experience. - So much fun staying in a Tepi. Very quirky, fabulous view. Was all good.
- Kayla (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts were super helpful and very kind, they even dried our wet camping gear and clothes for us. Great place to stay!
- Trautmann (10/5): Nice tipi with stunning view - We really loved it here. We stayed in the tipi tent, which also hab a bench out front and a shed with all necessities. There was a shower, a chemical toilet, a sink with running water, a tiny kitchen with a gas cooker. They also had spices, cooking oil and instant coffee.
The bed was really comfortable and the tipi tent was super spacious.
Our highlight aside from the accommodations was the croft itself. There were sheep and pig and the owner was super friendly, showing us that the pigs could be petted. We ended up feeding them our strawberries, because they were so cute. It was just a special and quiet place to sit, breathe and enjoy the view.
If you are up to a bit of nice glamping, we would recommend highly and we‘re already planning on returning.
- Parvathi (9/5): Superb - Eileen was very kind and hospitable. Would recommend the stay.
- Philippe (4/5): hugely overpriced -
- Nick (9/5): Fabulous outdoor experience - great way to try something different - Thoroughly unique - really glad we did it.
Although off grid it had all the essentials and we really enjoyed it. Nothing - all good.
Weather changed and we had rain but it’s perfectly cosy in the tipi
