• Jacqueline (10/5): - Great home in a lovely residential area but a short 10 min walk to main town centre and railway station. The home was very well decorated and all facilities were of a high standard The bed was extremely comfortable and linen was of a high standard The home was extremely clean The weather was good but not good enough to sit outside but I am sure having the large garden will be great during better weather Carla was a responsive and knowledgeable owner and all communication was informative and timeous We didn't need the parking but given the double yellow lines outside if you are travelling with a car this will be a great addition Overall a fantastic stay in a great home and we would not hesitate to return if travelling to Shrewsbury again Decking needs some work but given the time of year I am sure this is about to be undertaken by the owners

• Sarah (9/5): A fun, comfortable family stay. - We had a wonderful stay - quiet, cosy and lots to do nearby. The house was lovely, well stocked with teabags/loo roll/kitchen utensils etc. and beautifully clean. We really enjoyed the various board games too. My older daughter enjoyed having the option to stay in the warm basement room as her and her sister scrap when sharing a double! Host was very responsive and friendly. Would stay again if ever in the area. Thank you! A few more hangers would be useful.

Location is fantastic with everything within walking distance. Many thanks to Carla who was a superb host. Nothing not to like at all!
• Rachel (9/5): Lovely comfy stay for New Year’s. Ladies brake away - Lovely clean property 5/ 10 minutes walk from town with a couple of lovely cosy local pubs just round the corner. Layout is really well done the extra softer bed down stair is a lovely idea as we are a group of ladies that travel together & find it hard to have our own rooms . So this was much appreciated. Beds are clean & very comfortable. The lovely little living room is cosy & the sofa’s like a home from home . The parking space was an added very welcome bonus that’s not advertised . We would definitely stay again Shrewsbury is one of our favourite places to go so it was nice to have such a lovely base for New year’s Eve & a few days away .

• Tracy (9/5): Great house in an ideal location for Shrewsbury - Great location as close to Shrewsbury but quiet. House is nicely decorated and welcoming. Kitchen has all utilities would need. Parking at the property. Fluffy white towels. Excellent communication from the host. Would have been great to have some basics in the bathroom eg shampoo and a bar of soap but otherwise it was great.

• Deborah (9/5): Great location, plenty of room for a family of four and very clean and tidy - It was easy and straight forward to collect the keys and get into the property, the heating was a little hit and miss as it was a little cold in there in the mornings while getting up. The bed was a little soft so back was aching but other than that it was great.

Sehr liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet.Für die Kinder gibt es eine Playstation und die die Erwachsenen eine gemütliche Terrasse. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp oder einen längeren Aufenthalt. Die Übergabe und Abnahme erfolgte problemlos. Privater Parkplatz neben dem Haus. Alles war gut. Sogar das Wetter!

Carla, the host, was extremely helpful with any questions I had and compiled a list of recommended places to eat based on my preferences which we used during our stay and she was spot on !! Perfect place to retreat to at the end of the day. We had a wonderful stay. There's nothing not to like.

Would recommend for anyone looking for accommodation in Shrewsbury Noise from road as it was a busy road, beds weren't the comfiest but that's personal preference.

We loved the garden which we were lucky enough with the weather to be able to sit in. Facilities were very good had everything we needed. Hosts were friendly and helpful when we had wifi issues which they sorted out for us.

The cottage was thoughtfully equipped with all our possible needs anticipated. The rear deck was quiet and private and the extra rear garden was lovely. The property was spotless. In addition, our special requests were met. The only issue was that the house was on quite a noisy street but with the front windows closed the noise was acceptable - even though we live in the country so are used to quiet.
