Guest Reviews
- Regina (10/5): We loved our stay here in Rome and would definitely stay here again. Fabulous - Beautiful apartment, Clean, fantastic location. Excellent communication and great advice and suggestions from Marco. I would like to have been able to make a cup of tea. No facility for this.
- Katarina (10/5): -
- Annikki (9/5): Superb -
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Tamari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (9/5): Fabulous, clean, convenient, up-to-date apt, comfy bed, would def stay again. - It was a wonderful apartment in a family style, vintage apt building. Think “Emily in Paris” winding staircase around an elevator. The place was very clean. Wonderful, firm, large bed. Enough space for everything, including in the bathroom. One block to metro, very safe feeling neighborhood. Would stay again.
- Kaya (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great. The apartment was very clean and pleasant. Marco was very nice and helpful :) We truly recommend it!
- Potenza (10/5): Exceptional - Just gorgeous. Best location money can buy, right across from metro station, lots of restaurants, bars, market nearby. Beautiful and comfortable room. Marco ,the host , was so helpful .
We will definitely go back
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional - very comfortable and fancy interiors. highly enjoyed my stay, comfy bed slept well! extremely convenient, metro and bus access. very new deco and furniture. no laundry detergent provided :(
- Michail (9/5): Superb - The decoration of the room and the location right next to metro station A/C wasnt working
- Dan (9/5): Rome... history and more - Room is clean and newly renovated, good location, nearby metro station and napoletano restaurant pizza (after corner) Host charged us 15euro for cleaning service when arrived (was not specified in the reservation), the blanket is not wrapped in a sheet (it would be more pleasant if it's wraped). Otherwise the accommodation was ok, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom really nice.
- Peter (5/5): OK for travellers who like walking and don't mind eating out. Clean but not central. - The studio was clean and the bathroom and shower well arranged and fully functional. The studio was close to the metro even if it was quite a long way from the centre, contrary to what is suggested on the site. To foreigners, the word "appartamento" is misleading and suggests that one can use dishes, cutlery and a microwave for a simple meal. The appartamento Edelveis does not offer that and although there is fridge (that we turned off because it hummed in the night) there is not even a kettle for boiling water for a cup of tea or coffee. It has a good view over the piazza, but to describe the studio as being in a "zona più tranquilla di Roma" is just not true. The traffic noise is incessant and the windows must be shut in order to sleep. The lift to the fourth floor (which has seen better days...) was several times out of order because other users forgot to close the door. Fortunately we didn't mind going up the stairs but it is useful to know that in advance.
- Alan (9/5): First class Holiday apartment - Lovely apartment in a quieter area of Rome next to a metro station (Rei De Rome) so was easy to get around. Some nice restaurants and bars nearby. Nice spacious room that was comfortable and modern en suite bathroom.
- Edward (10/5): The perfect 'home' in Rome as reviewed by a Travel Agent with 45-years' experience in the industry. - The location was perfect for me. I hate staying in the 'middle of things' and tend to stay a little off the tourist route. This location is about 20 steps from the 'easy to use' Rome underground. Stay there - the host, Marco, is very kind caring, and attentive without being bothersome. As acting CEO of Vuitton Travel in New York City with 45 years of travel experience to my credit, I highly recommend this property for a perfect stay in The Eternal City. I honestly cannot think of anything that could have been better. Breakfast was across the way in a cafeteria with pastries and coffee which was just enough to get the day going. Furthermore, there is a laundry close by, a super stocked supermarket, a leafy green park on the square opposite the property, and quite honestly everything that the traveler looking for a 'place to call home' in Rome is available, on the spot.
- Alya (8/5): Was great but had to pay extra for council tax and late check in -
