- Hannah (8/5): Great flat in lovely location, but extra charges for late check-in - The flat was great, well decorated and modern with good AC and two twin bedrooms in a very central location. The only downside was before arrival we were contacted by the host to inform us that there was a charge of up to 50 euros in cash for late arrival (we had a late flight which was past the set hours for check-in). While we saw the check-in times on the ad, we couldn’t find any details about this. The host maintained this was clearly stated in the booking advert and to take it up with booking.com- we checked and couldn’t find this information. So you may want to factor that into the budget when booking. Slight shame as it put a bit of a dampener on what was otherwise a lovely stay which we would’ve given full marks!

However, we were charged €30 for a slightly late c - The property was very clean, and everything matched the photos exactly—no surprises, just as advertised. There were a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable. We were charged €30 in cash for arriving just 30 minutes past 8 PM, despite informing the owner that our flight had been delayed. It was disappointing that there was no flexibility, especially given the circumstances were beyond our control. Additionally, the air conditioning in the smaller bedroom was problematic—it kept dripping water every 15 minutes during the night, which was quite disruptive. The walls are also not very soundproof, so we could clearly hear noise from neighboring apartments.
