• Réka (10/5): Perfect holiday near Heraklion - It is located on the outskirts of a small village, surrounded by undisturbed nature. It is really close to Heraklion, so if you want to see all the sights and then relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place. Argyris, the host was really kind and helpful. We got two bottles of wine as a welcome gift, a white and a red one. The villa is really comfortable, everything is brand new, just like in the pictures. We had two large bedrooms with comfy beds and a lot of storage space. The bathroom was large and it had all the necessary toiletries, just like in a hotel. There were new, clean towels for the bathroom and also for the pool. It also had a washing machine, a drying rack, and some laundry tablets. The kitchen was a housewife's dream, it was fully equipped with everything needed, minus a dishwasher. The sink was ginormous, it had a kitchen island, equipped with everything. We used the oven, the electric stove, and the sandwich maker. There was a Nespresso coffee machine with some coffee pods and sugar. There was a large variety of tea. The villa also had a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. We sat around the large dining table and played some board games that we found under the large TV set. By the way, there are TV sets in both bedrooms and also in the living room. The house is air-conditioned that works all the time, there is a unit in every room. We enjoyed the pool, after a long day trip of seeing all the sights it was great to come home and be able to relax in the pool. I fully recommend this villa, it has a really good price-value ratio. If you want to stay away from the crowds and still get a view of the sea from the pool, this is the place for you. There was no dishwasher and the colors of the tv from the master bedroom were a bit off, but these were only minor inconvenience. The villa exceeded my expectations in all areas.
