- Sergio (9/5): Nice house, clean, modern, well equipped, plenty of room for the family! - Lots to like about this house. Four bedrooms (one en suite), three double and two single beds, house bathroom, downstairs loo. House was clean and tidy when we arrived. Well decorated, nice pictures and ornaments, well equipped with washer, dishwasher, microwave oven, plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils, had WiFi, TV with a fire stick too. House was kept nice and warm. Well located, there is parking immediately outside though it’s first come first served.
Other nice touches like a couple of little emergency torches up and downstairs. Also nice little pack with dishwasher tabs, sponge, teabags, biscuits etc.
Lots of useful communication leading up to the stay.
Keys readily available in key box at the front door. Not much to say here. There did seem to be an issue with flies - had to catch and dispose of around a dozen that seemed to make their way into the house.
Back patio had a few loose flags to one side.
Kitchen tap dripping constantly though it was fully turned off - solved by putting a dishcloth under it. Sure it will get sorted though.
Lastly, did get bombarded by texts, emails and messages via Booking.com about leaving the keys in the key box if we went out and also leaving on time and what we needed to do. Too much IMO. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving the keys especially as on arrival, the key box was set at the entry code rather than being jumbled up.
Wouldn’t put me off coming back though.
- Paula (8/5): Morgan's family - The house in general was a lovely property however there was a few things in our opinion needs attention
1, The patio outside has a few loose slabs and was dangerous for the children
2, We rang about the shower leaking into the kitchen light below again very dangerous with young children as they could have switched on the light at anytime and caused electricity shocks
3, No actual nominated parking space for your property yet again very difficult with youngsters and packing and unpacking the car
4, The bottom stairs carpet was loose and very hazardous
5, The central heating was on constant and couldn't turn off
6, No fans in the property
7, The patio door to the rear of the property was very hard to close and lock
A few minor problems which needs sorting out other wise we had a great time As above

- Anne (8/5): The house was central for Filey, Whitby, near York and Scarborough. It was a nice family holiday. With access to swimmin - Nice layout of the rooms. The outlook from the back showing large green communal space .The BBQ was good and the outside table and chairs. lots of glasses, cups plates and essential pots e.t.c. Swimming pool and Sauna/ were good for family fun. The en suite bathroom was small, the shower was a decent size but dirt had built up in the difficult to reach places on the sliding shower doors. - see photos below *
We had to de-scale the kettle of a large build up, because tea made with this was scummy.
The main bedroom had large wardrobes, but only had room for a bedside cabinet on either side. Hardly space to make up the bed.
Some windows won’t lock.
The dishwasher was reported on the first day as broken, we did get compensation for it. But it was not fixed while we were there.
They rely on the previous renters to clean the oven and dishes before they go. That’s not really working out well. We had to clean the kettle see above .A special clean every month is needed.
They say they allocate parking spaces but that’s not the case, turns out anybody can use the spaces outside your rental House. We had to park at reception sometime.
