Guest Reviews
- Denny (10/5): Would definitely book again. - House was very roomy and clean. Tea and coffee, hand gel, washing up liquid etc all provided which was a nice touch.
A christmas tree and decorations had been placed in the house too which was lovely.
- Duncan (10/5): Excellent - Liked everything about The Jennings, it's the second time I've stayed here great location, off street parking, very comfortable
- Anne marie (9/5): -
- Shaun (10/5): Great house in perfect location - Great location, central to all I needed. Little touches like tea and coffee, kids games etc made the difference. Host communication was fantastic. The mattress in the front bedroom was particularly comfortable! Nothing to fault
- Debbie (7/5): Good as a 1 night stop over - Easy to find, good communication with the owner, Beds were comfy, great that we had games to play. Very accessible for local shop No fenced off area so couldn’t let the dog out without being on a lead.
There was very little toilet roll or hand soap provided.
Very much felt like a rental property
- sarah (10/5): Excellent stay - Everything was excellent. Could do with some lids for the sauce pan's
- Jennifer (10/5): We had an incredible stay at this property and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location was ideal — peacefu - I was extremely happy with this property, the location was perfect, very convenient and close to everything I needed. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the space was even bigger and more comfortable than it looked in the pictures. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I would definitely stay here again. Nothing all was excellent
- Michael (10/5): Great house in a great location, would stay again. Home from Home -
- Stuart (8/5): A very pleasant overnight stay on the outskirts of Middlesbrough and Redcar - Size or rooms, great shower, v.short walk to shops and pubs. Nearby car charging with Blink at 50kw No secure garden for our dog. We have a very big car and parking was awkward due to low walls on either side but nothing spoilt our stay
- Maria (9/5): We had a lovely time at the property. It was very comfortable and close to nice walking areas which is the reason we cam - The property was a spacious area it was close to Pup’s, Tesco’s express and takeaways which was handy if you didn’t feel like cooking. It was a very comfortable. Nice chair to sit in in the evening. It had the basic items in the kitchen like washing up liquid, coffee, tea which was nice so you’re not in a hurry to go out and get it all. We enjoyed us stay very much. The only thing we struggled a bit with was the traffic at the front of the house as we not used to hearing traffic, but that is just one of these things
- Attila (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly host, clean&tidy lovely house, comfy beds, off road parking, good location. -

Prompt contact with host Need a blind in the bathroom.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - This is my 2nd stay at this lovey homely cottage.
Again, everything I needed. Lovely and warm, spotlessly clean.
Plenty of shops around, Tesco, Pizza takeaways, and a brilliant friendly pub The Woodmans just at the end of the road. I look forward to my next visit….
- Lisa (10/5): Xmas trip - Everything. Just what we needed while home for Xmas. Nothing.
- Lisa (10/5): Xmas trip home - Location. Facilities. Space for the family. Nothing. Everything we needed.
- Julie (10/5): Home from Home - Keys in a lock box, no problem there.
Great location.
Off-road parking on the property
Exceptionally clean.
Everything you need in kitchen, plenty of towels and spare bedding if you need it. I didn’t.
I stayed November into December, heating is on timer, and didn’t feel the need to boost the heating as the house stays warm.
This is just an all round clean and welcoming home from home.
