• Philip (9/5): Perfect for walking the Camino - I’m a single male walking the Camino Frances. This was great accommodation for me in my travels. Clean, neat , tidy and bonus restaurant attached. I walked into Astorga city. Took me about 20 minutes so I could be picky and say there is not much around where the Hostel is located. But it has its own Restaurant and Bar.

Bonjour, Merci," ne fait pas partie de leur vocabulaire... étonnant pour des hôtes ???? Le snacking, obligatoire car restaurant fermé pour cause de veille de fête, servi froid sans proposition de réchauffe.

• Sheila (8/5): i got a great night’s sleep! - i loved having my own room, it was very quiet after 11pm, sink in my room was very nice, the bar lady was patient and helpful there were few options for food on location, is a bit of a trek off the camino but worth it to have a single room

• Andrew (7/5): Better than expected, clean - Considering some of the previous reviews this was surprisingly very good and better than expected. Basic but clean. Good value pilgrim meal with complementary wine! Communication was at times difficult as no English spoken but that’s my problem in Spain! Also 2km out of town.

Aus dem Hotel links und nach ca. 100 meter wieder links.... Essen war preiswert u. gut. Kein typisch deutsches 5 Sternehaus!!! Alles i. Ordnung

• Alberto (5/5): En verano ni se te ocurra reservar habitación aqui - Facilidad para aparcar. Increíble que en el siglo XXI aún existan habitaciones en verano sin aire acondicionado o por lo menos un ventilador. Insoportable dormir en este lugar. Tuvimos que comprar un ventilador y aún así muy complicado dormir de forma decente.

Es un Hostal de mala muerte. - La cercanía con el camino De Santiago El trato del personal era poco amable, el olor a comida en la habitación, no había aire acondicionado ni ventiladores, las colchas sin lavar y la televisión sin canales. La ducha no cerraba la puerta y las persianas no subían. 60€ es muy caro realmente para lo que ofrece.

Al final lo hicimos nosotros tras discutir. No tienen aire acondicionado en la habitación y hacia mucho calor. Es un hostal muy caro para lo que ofrecen

• Claus (3/5): Nicht zu empfehlen. - Kostengünstig Trotz Außentemperatur unter maximal 10 Grad keine Heizung. Restaurant am Abend geschlossen, nur Snacks an der Bar möglich. Das Frühstück bestand aus einem Kaffee und einer getoasteten Scheibe Brot mit Konfitüre.

• Kate (9/5): - I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hostal was clean and comfortable. I felt very safe there as a solo traveller. The menu was explained very well and I really enjoyed my dinner.There was a map left in my room of Astorga and it provided a wide range of information for me. I had a lovely stay at Hostal Residencia Delfin. Thank you. Nothing really. I asked for some more toilet paper and was given some straight away.

• Gene33 (4/5): Mediocre facility, nicely maintained, & spider problem. - For an older place the rooms & bathrooms were well maintained and clean. There was a broken lamp in one of our 2 rooms, and there spiders in the other room. I woke up with 25 to 30 spider bites!

• Oscar (3/5): Mala noche en Astorga - El sitio estaba super lejos. Era el típico motel de barato y de mala calidad. Trato pésimo por parte de la señora que nos atendió. Apenas llegamos y nos montó una bronca por habernos equivocado en la reserva en vez de comentarnos amablemente la situación… Le pedí un simple tenedor después de haber comido allí y lo hizo después de decirselo dos veces y de haberme humillado delante de todos los clientes que había.

• Sandra (4/5): - Habitación amplia, aparcamiento gratis Junto a un parking de camiones que no paraban d llegar durante toda la noche y no dejaban dormir.No tenía aire acondicionado y hacia mucho calor, suciedad en el baño, moho en la bañera y habitación con salpicaduras de bebidas por todo el cabecero, repegajoso.

• Nicholas (6/5): Basic room, clean but no air-conditioning or fan. - Fair price, room was clean and showers hot Little noise as we were at the back of the building No air-conditioning or fan provided. To keep the room dark we had to close the metal shutters which reduces the airflow making the room very hot all night. Busy road so if you keep the windows open as no Aircon the rooms would be noisy.
