Guest Reviews
- Sylvie (8/5): - Grand salon lumineux
Grande baie vitrée Tout était impeccable
- Lucy (10/5): A perfect local stay for friends who wanted to visit the local area - Location was perfect for walking to mumbles and bonus sea views Nothing
- Jeremy (9/5): Very Lovely Indeed. - A very lovely family cottage, ample room for the 5 of us, 3 adults, 2 teenagers and our dog.
Enclosed back garden for the dog also.
Location is prefect between The Mumbles and Swansea. 30mins drive from The Gower which is a must.
Amazingly understanding hosts also.
Communication was A+.
Would definitely recommend.
Thankyou. Not much :)
- David (9/5): Great location and cosy cottage, comfy beds and great kitchen. - Great local facilities: cafe/store & pub next door and across the street. (But absolutely no noise.)
Bathroom was modern and clean, kitchen was well equipped and generously stocked with crockery etc.
Host gave quick friendly responses to our questions and requests. Stairs were steep, but expected for this type of cottage. Parking was a little tricky, but plenty available within 50-100m and short stay next to the gate.
- Melanie (8/5): We had a lovely time, lots of lovely touches in the property. - Very efficient hosts who made the booking process very easy and provided good instructions for arrival/checking in. Property was spotlessly clean and lovely touch to have Christmas decorations up for the start of December. It may be worth providing some instructions on where is best to park as the road in front is narrow and has double yellow lines. We always parked a short way away in a side road, but some guidance may be useful.
We struggled a bit with the heating and downstairs was rather cold. Upstairs was fine as the boiler is upstairs so warms up quickly and holds the heat more. To get the heating to come on we had to increase the temperature on the unit in the lounge but it was misreading the temperature as 21.5 degrees so never coming on automatically, and heating could only be turned on once you were in the house and adjusting it.
- Carly (9/5): Chilled, family time in the loveliest cottage - Location, decor , comfiest beds and fluffiest towels No outside light for the back garden.
- Lynne (10/5): Perfectly placed home from home ❤️❤️ - Sea glass cottage is perfectly placed, it’s close to the beach, a short walk from the mumbles and a short drive from some amazing bays and beaches.
- Lucy (10/5): Homely and lovely cottage in a great location with plenty of space. - Deceptively roomy cottage, stylish but still homely, comfortable, great location and everything worked. The heating thermostat kept dropping down so the heating kept switching off. This meant we had to keep turning the thermostat back up so we were cold rather a lot. Once it was on the cottage was super cosy though.
- Ernest (8/5): Very good - Courtyard garden for the dog
Very light and airy, very well equipped The skylight blind
Pull it down a while before going to bed just to see if it is correctly in place
- Michael (10/5): Charming family cottage with a side of Welsh hospitality - Sea Glass Cottage is very charming and comfortable. We felt right at home. Everything was clean and stocked. The beds provided a great night’s sleep. No dedicated parking but street parking was close by.
- Joanne (9/5): Great location for coastal walks - Great location, comfortable and clean.
Beautiful interior design.
Fantastic coastal walks. Mumbles is a great coastal town.
Great communication with Cat.
Small corner shop/coffee shop next door.
Easy to walk to town and restaurants.
We were able to use a recommended dog-sitter.
Hope to return. On street parking only. But we always found a place park.
Can park beside the property for 30 mins when unloading and loading luggage.
- Cath (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Lovely cosy cottage. Perfect for a New Year's Eve stay.
- Zoë (10/5): Wonderful experience would love to come again - Loved the decor,
Facilities and welcome package
Felt like home rather than a holiday let
A challenge to adjust to using a Rayburn as I had never used one, but a wonderful experience once I got used
- Laura (8/5): Awesome - Thank you for the lovely bottle of red wine and snacks on arrival. So thoughtful! Great location with fantastic restaurants close by. Friendly locals and a handy shop/ cafe next door. We loved it! Personally we found the Rayburn a bit tricky to use but we managed fine. It was a novelty to use.
- Beryl (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was a lovely location very homely and very well equipped There wasn't anything we didn't like
