Guest Reviews
- Mitchigan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kashe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Not clean, dust everywhere.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Absolutely stunning flat when you get inside. The outside does it no justice
- Helen (9/5): Superb - Perfect location & spacious, had everything we needed
- Catarina (8/5): Very good -
- Phillip (9/5): clean comfortable and close to Brixton. - superb communication at all times, great location for Brixton town centre and the flat is very clean, modern and with every appliance you might need, highly recommended indeed.
- Hardill (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and well located WiFi didn't work initially but the owner put it right immediately.
- Melissa (4/5): Worst stay - Location was good Infestation of sewage flies that covered the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. We were given insecticide to spray them but it made us all uncomfortable to stay in the place and made the place smell of chemicals whilst we were there. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling, the toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet bowl and there was a cracked cupboard in the kitchen. The garden is packed with rubbish so not a nice view when opening the blinds in the morning. The main bedroom blinds are really thin meaning we woke up very early due to how bright it was. There was cat poop on the astroturf just outside the entrance of the property which stunk. The sofa bed latches are broken so the additional piece moves when you sleep and the main bedroom is two single beds put together so you can feel the line between them.
- Farmer (3/5): Reality didn't meet expectations - Good sized rooms. Kitchen quote well equipped. The animal faeces on the astro turf out front that we were able to admire for 20 minutes whilst waiting for a message with the keybox code should have given us a clue of what to expect indoors.
Inside the apartment is spacious, and at one time was probably lovely, but now it's urgently in need of some tlc. Only one of the 5 internal doors had handles that worked. The kitchen units had seen better days. The loo seat was too small for the loo and wasn't attached to the bowl. The bathroom sink, whilst allowing water to escape eventually, was obviously blocked and took ages to drain. The whole place desperately needed a good clean and maybe we shouldn't mention that the only clean linen on the bed were 2 pillowcases. Sadly we couldn't connect to the WiFi during our stay despite several attempts.
On the plus side we found a large bag of frozen vegetables, half a box of crunchy nut cornflakes and an open sachet of coffee for our use. And in fairness when we contacted the owners about the bedlinen we were provided with a clean set, and a bottle of Shiraz as an apology.
Our review seems to reflect previous ones regarding cleanliness in particular. Please owners, try to get that improved on. The apartment could be great, but sadly at the moment it isn't.
- Di (4/5): Disappointing -
- Terry (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Slater (6/5): Pleasant - Great location was lovely and warm Generally the flat was pretty poorly finished loose tiles in the bathroom, the bed wasn't made properly, the garden was a dumping ground ! Generally bit scruffy
- Ian (9/5): Great - Clean, good facilities
- Rebecca (7/5): Nice apartment - Spacious apartment, and lovely and warm. Good location for King's College Hospital. Hosts responsive to questions and resolved an issue we had quickly. Not sure how thoroughly it had been cleaned prior to our arrival as bathroom sink was blocked and full of dirty water. But this was resolved quickly. Worth noting that although on-street parking is available and we were able to find spaces very easily, parking is limited to four hours max and costs about £30 for those four hours. But it is London...
- Fabio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alyona (3/5): Poor - Pictures on website are better than in real life. No light at front door, very dark to enter. No heating in the bedroom, absolutely freezing room. Pull out sofa in sitting is very uncomfortable and pull out mechanism wasn't working. Underfloor heating seemed only worked in sitting room. Big pile of rubbish at the back garden, no wonder all blinds were down. Dont think sheets on bed were washed. Communication very poor! After me trying to contact the property through booking.com, WhatsApp, ringing direct (phone was off).....I've really panicked. 15mins before check in (2pm) got reply for entering arrangements with key code and was told not to enter before 2. Ridiculous! We've only stayed 1 night even though I've booked 2, way too cold and uncomfortable.
- Julia (9/5): Superb - The only issue I had with this property is that it was cold. Even after adjusting the thermostat, it did not go above 19 degrees.
- Idayath (9/5): Superb - Really good place for a trip at London
Near the metro station
- Liam (10/5): Great property , would definitely recommend and hopefully return some day - Size Leaving
- Alistair (5/5): Good location but mange your expectations - Great location and large flat. WiFi wasn’t great and I was only able to get signal in one room. The TV was not fitted to the wall correctly and fell off while watching it.
- Daniel (8/5): Could have small improvements, but would definitely stay again - Excellent for the price, very nice looking place The creaking floor got annoying, and probably could have had a better clean of the floor, wasn’t bad but was just rushed with bits on the floor.
- Nick (10/5): A very friendly host, nice guy, help in everything you ask him for. - The flat is really nice, the check in was not easy cos i am use to person checking me in, but i was quick to understand everything.
The WIFI is very wick, a stronger wifi is needed,
The rooms are big The WIFI is wick, need a good broadband, and please answer your phone, in emergency phone call could be the only thing to do.
- Rhys (8/5): Warm & Spacious and a great location! - Had everything you need and was surprisingly spacious for the cost of an apartment in London.
Underfloor heating was also a big bonus. Could have done with just another quick hoover by the cleaner as the floor was still a bit bitty. - The bathroom was very clean however.
Also worth a mention, all the windows to the property are barred on the outside and the back door was locked shut, in the event of a fire, the only way in and out is the front door so if there was to be a fire, you best hope it's not at the front door!
- Carol (8/5): Convenient and cost effective place to stay in London. - Much more space than a hotel room and being able self cater makes it more cost effective. Quiet location. Easy to get around on public transport. It would have been useful to know that a parking permit was available for the day, as I spent a lot of money on the 4-hour permit and had to move the car after that.
- Georgia (8/5): Hidden Surprises in the Basement - Definitely loved the space and amenities provided. Very well laid out, comfy bed and sofa. Even the extra little tin bucket in the freezer for those "special occasions" were sweet. Couldn't get a hold of the hosts as I tried calling a couple of times once I arrived. There is a lot of water damage in the bathroom that I'm unsure if the owner knows about. The mirror is extremely hot to touch in the bathroom, which I'm worried that could be a future fire hazard. The sofa bed needs a couple screws tightened as the pull out bit kept coming loose. There was also male underwear left in the lounge area, which we threw in the bin
- Jeni (9/5): Superb -
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clark (8/5): I stayed there for just one night. It’s wonderful! - It’s very spacious and it had everything I needed for my stay. New property. The location is a bit far from a tube station. But bus stops are just a few minutes walk from the property.
- Mihai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (7/5): One night stay - Clean and modern Poor communication about the parking.Had to call twice for wi fi password. When it was finally mailed wi fi did not work.Owner had to switch on from another location.Wi fi password is at least 12 digits long.Make a shorter password its very easy.Make things simple for your guests please.Customer service 101
- Grima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Betts (8/5): Welcoming interior and very spacious. Lots of light in the rooms - Spacious & comfortable space. Well stocked kitchen & good shower. Lovely space and area to stay in. Look forward to returning.
- Petr (9/5): Clean and nice accommodation at a very good price in 15-20 minutes walking distance from Brixton st. -
- Phillips (7/5): Good - Everything done to best possible London is a dirty decaying city. 3rd world destinations are cleaner and safer
- Caitlin (8/5): Very good -
- Matthew (10/5): A great stay. - For the price you get a lot for your money, you can spend the same on a hotel room and get a lot less.
- Eylene (9/5): Superb -
- Kremena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. The place is very confortable and close to the center of London
- Owen (7/5): good - good value for money poor wifi connection
- Bethel (9/5): beautiful apartment in quiet location. would definitely stay again. - Very clean and well equipped. Great location, very quiet and parking outside on a weekend. Nothing. Only thing I would change is to have a darker blind in the bedroom as the light shines through very early in the morning.
- Ian (10/5): Verry Happy - great location for Kings College, very spacious, clean and tidy. will be booking again.
- Renier (9/5): Superb - nice spacious place in the heart of London
- Jo (9/5): Great place - Fantastic location for people visiting King's hospital, surprisingly quiet at night and loads of street parking available. The place was clean and tidy with decent facilities and very good value for money. The owner was lovely and responded super quickly to any messages and sent loads of helpful details If you're a little ocd like my dad who came with me then the attention to detail on the finish of the property will bug you but for the price and location its well worth it
- Marjanovic (3/5): Poor heating, no internet in the apartment. Close to King's college. Loud neighbors upstairs. - Apartment is in the convenient location to King's college. There was an attempt to refurbish the apartment. Host is not responsive. There was no internet (although it was listed on the listing) and heating was broken,, When contacted host to fix the issue, no response after asking 3 times, and has still not addressed it after weeks stay. Poor communication on the arrival around key collection, sent multiple emails and left voicemails.
- Caroline (10/5): there was plenty of room, had everything we needed and had been recently redecorated and refurbished. - spacious and well appointed bathroom door handle was broken
- Robert (10/5): Beautiful one bedroom - Beautiful large one basement flat . Well appointed , spotlessly clean , with a very comfortable homely feel. Good quality furnishings and very spacious.
Host was very responsive , helpful and on hand to assist if required.
Very good location just outside the heart of central London with good access to buses and trains
Much better value than a hotel when you look at the space and facilities that come with the apartment, plus you get a taste of what it's like to live in London rather than staying in the touristy parts of London , Nothing
- Elmer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcelo (8/5): Good relation price quality - All new. A lot of space
Well equiped The garden. The neiborghood
