Julie (5/5): We enjoyed the town but not sure we would stay here again - New hotel so clean and modern. Concierge team welcoming and very professional. The reception team seemed disorganised and not overly helpful whereas the concierge team could not have more professional and helpful. We decided to use room service as we were weary from travelling - the food was OK and service was good. As a new hotel I would suggest that staff need more training and to be more aware of quality of service. Location quite a long way out of town - you need a car and no public transport options

Andy (9/5): Great facility, excellent service, and great landscaping. - The room is very clean and organized. Front desk staffs are friendly with big smiles all the time. Coffee machine also worked perfectly. My overall experience is excellent and will book again for future trips to this region. Sunset Terrace is not open for Mondays and Tuesdays. We didn’t get to try it unfortunately.

Tried to charge nearly twice the agreed fee and stated that they did not recognise Booking.com and couldn’t honour the Booking.com price. We had to return to the property after we had checked out meaning we had to change our travel plans. Finally got the fee agreed after much discussion with manager.

Till (10/5): Wenn Cambell River, dann dieses Hotel buchen. - Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit tollem Aussenbereich (viele Sonnenliegen, grossem Schwimmbad, Sauna und Whirlpool im Freien. Grosse Zimmer mit Balkon. Von dort hatten wir einen phantastischen Blick auf den Hafen und die schneebedeckten Berge. Alles neu und sehr gepflegt. Für den Baulärm aus dem entstehenden Wohngebiet in der Nähe kann das Hotel nichts.

We sat at the Bar for dinner , service was excellent and bartender was very friendly and helpful with menu suggestions food was delicious. We didn’t play but Looks like a beautiful golf course . The pool was very cool not a comfortable swim . Wouldn’t recommend eating at the golf course pub . Food was blah and extremely noisy with large tables of people outside in the patio area. However the Staff were awesome and service was prompt . Maybe just needs a menu makeover . 🤷‍♀️

Melissa (9/5): A lovely resort - definitely better than 3-star! Worth a stay and a great value for the amenities. - The hotel room was comfortable and spacious. The facilities, especially the pool complex with the pool, hot tub, sauna and steamroom were a big perk. Breakfast in the hotel was not overpriced. The fitness room was good for a hotel gym. The fitness room was pretty good but could have had a few more weight lifting machines. I thought the restaurant menu for dinner was overpriced and we wound up eating offsite.

L (7/5): Good stay - Spa - everyone is amazing in there. The attendant that came directly to my room when I was having an issue order room service over the phone system located in the room - the food was excellent! The housekeeping attendant that knocked on my door and kindly asked if I would require more towels etc. She also explained to me how to get the lights to work in the room - with the keycard. Check in. I felt the check in person was rather rude. She didn't ask if I had stayed before, or if I was checking in. Just I need ID - didn't explain why. She also didn't tell me to use the keycard to access power in the room, or that I would need to use the keycard to use the elevator to get back to my room. I find these kind of details to be important - especially as I have never stayed there before. I booked an room with a mountain view, as I live on the ocean and see it all the time - all I saw was the golf course, and maybe just the tip of the mountain? The shower head started to leak after 20 minutes of turning it off. The phone in the room didn't work to order room service.

Matthias (8/5): Golfhotel mit schönen Außenanlagen - Wir waren in einem barrierefreien Zimmer und das war 10/10. Die Architektur des Aussenbereichs ist sehr schön. Es ist ein Golfhotel mit entsprechend dominanten, lauten Publikum. Damit muss man umgehen können. Die Zimmertüren sind zum Gang schlecht Schall isoliert.
James (7/5): It is a beautiful hotel, service was great - but it is on the high end price wise for only 1 night. - We were only able to stay for a very short visit and we were unable to take advantage of any of the facilities, except for the hot tub in the evening after dinner with friends off site. I wanted to have an early morning swim, but since the pool did not open until 8:00 am and we had to leave by 8:00 am that was not possible. The rooms are very clean and well laid out. We understand that the location was dictated by the existing golf course, but the overall setting in that part of town was not exciting - especially when we had a "city view" room, rather than a "golf course" view. Given our tight schedule, we did not visit any of the dining areas, so we cannot comment on that. The price is quite steep in comparison to other locations in the area - especially if you are only staying for one night, but I understand you are positioning it as a high-end destination spot. What I found strange was the additional "resort fee cost" that was added to the room cost - for things like housekeeping, use of the pool facilities, etc. These are elements that should be included in the basic room cost - not considered as add-ons. We stayed here because we had a gift certificate for use at the property - otherwise the overall costs would have prevented us from visiting.

John (10/5): I can’t wait to stay again next year. - We can’t wait to stay again!! I was really satisfied with this resort as we enjoyed playing Golf, Pool and Hot tub. Furthermore, the facilities was very clean. I felt very comfortable in the bed. First of all, the staff was very nice and kind. I think this resort was 100% perfect. It had the best value and competitive all of the world.

Carol Anne (8/5): NYE guest - Large rooms well equipped. Bellhop at arrival did not ask to take our bags to the room. No shower caps in bathrooms. No waste basket in bathrooms...small one in separate toilet area. Common areas were not heated as well as could be. No closed pathway to the pool area...cold & inconvenient in winter.
