- Claire (10/5): Comfortable stay and have booked again. Thank you for your excellent hospitality. - Perfect for the purpose of the trip. Clean tidy and in a central location.
- Neely (1/5): - That it wasn't a beachfront appointment far from that forgot to mention that there's 4 fights of stairs to get to the appointment nothing stated that it wasn't private witch i was told by owner old sash windows witch need replaced could not sleep the first night it was a bit windy and the windows rattled all night wind howling through i had my 13 year old son his 2 old small dog's the only reason we booked this appointment was for my and the dog's for the fact that it was stated beachfront!!! And only stairs shown was one's too the apartment forgetting to say there's other 3 flights before you get to the apartment we stayed on the Friday night was a nightmare I had to go round all the windows in try and stop them from rattling so we gave it one more night Saturday a little bit better but the dog's were struggling with all the stairs we cut our weekend short we left Sunday morning so no a weekend from hell to be honest I don't think I'll be booking with booked. Com anymore that was a shit show!!
- Sean (8/5): We were only there for somewhere to sleep and wash however it served its purpose for us - Location, parking and comfort The shower was great pressure but shower head was not right for the rail
- Violet (10/5): Fabulous and in a great central location. - Great central location. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back.
- Dominique (10/5): Comfy place to stay, perfect for the night away with the dogs. Great place and lovely decor. - Clean tidy, plenty room, perfect location N/A
- Lee Pitchford (10/5): Clean and comfortable apartment in a Great location - Great location
Very Clean and comfortable
Lovely little touch of chocolates left for our arrival.
Great communication from owners. Nothing not to like.

- Simon (10/5): Amazing we will be back - Everything was amazing. The apartment is in a central location, was spotlessly clean and just lovely. We were visiting to attend a funeral of a really good friend and staying here made it so much easier. Nothing
- Colin (10/5): Perfect little flat in the heart of Ayr. -
- Susan (10/5): -
- Luigi (10/5): -
- Yvonne (9/5): Lovely cosy apartment perfectly placed in Ayr. - Really nicely decorated and clean and cosy.
I loved having a bath and there was plenty of hot water. Plenty of space in apartment and a great kitchen. So handy to have the use of a washing machine!
I felt at home in the apartment and recommend it. Perfect location right next to all amenities. Just for the reference of others, although it wasn’t an issue for me, but there are quite a few steps up to the apartment, so it would be unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
It was handy to be able to park at the owners property, but bear in mind it’s a ten minute walk from there to property with your luggage. Again, this was not an issue for me but might be for others.
It would be great if the sash windows could be replaced as they are very draughty and rattled loudly the first night I was there, due to a very windy evening. There are large cracks on several of the glass panes which ideally should be replaced.

- Maaria (10/5): -
- Karen (8/5): Perfect location and clean tidy and also great hosts - It was really clean, tidy and modern, close to all the shops so perfect location. Also we had a little problem but the hosts fixed it straight away for us and also let us enter early and later than stated thankyou The little problem with the boiler but was fixed straight away and was a little cold because the windows are abit dated.
- Yvonne (10/5): - Central location for shops and beach N/a
- Patricia (8/5): Entrance to the property was very dirty and lots of flies , but the top floor was clean. -
- Frank (9/5): Attic in Ayr. - Central location in Ayr.Clean, spacious and comfortable.Well equipped. Nice and cosy in winter. Bed a bit soft. Back yard covered in neighbour's dog's dirt. Difficult to park apart from Sunday/ Monday at adjacent wine store.
- Michelle (10/5): Amazing home from home - Beautiful home and lovely hosts Nothing
- Eva (8/5): -
- Carol (9/5): - Great location Parking
- Tanya (8/5): Good central location, spacious living room, clean and nicely decorated. Would stay again. -
- Gerry (9/5): Perfect place for our trip - A great place to stay, had everything we needed. Lovely furnishings. The stone steps are a bit tricky, but there is a hand rail to use.
- Hazel (7/5): A nice apartment for a short stopover - Rather dingy location but nicely done out apartment Bet seemed small
- Janet (10/5): - It was a good location, comfortable & good value for money
- William (9/5): - Grateful for the offer of car parking from owners. Probably our oversight when we booked but we were looking for two beds for two singles and while there was the one bedroom, the fold down bed in the lounge fell a bit short.
- Kathryn (8/5): I was working at Ayr Flower Show so the flat was convenient and comfortable - Noisy pub at the end of the street and Seagulls in the early hours, I was working but it probably wouldn’t bother holiday makers .
- Lisa (10/5): - Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean
Had everything we needed and more
Right in the centre of town with everything within walking distance
Would definitely book here again if we ever came back to Ayr
- Decurtins (9/5): Super cozy - The apartment is amazing, cozy, central and super clean. The windows are classic old UK windows and we were there in a heavy storm, so it was windy inside the apartment... a fixing of the windows would be an enormous improvememt. If it hadn't been for the storm, it would have been perfect, but I'm not going to blame that on the apartment :)
- Carl (8/5): Very nice convenient stay - No breakfast included, location was good for the town centre. 2 hour parking was near the property for dropping off, the owners allowed us to park free near their property which was helpful Wasn't anything we didn't like
- Lorren (10/5): - Apartment was beautiful and clean had everything you needed for a short break away. Beds were very comfy and the location was central. Great communication from the owners and a good wee guide book of things to do. Couldn't fault the place
- Jade (1/5): Highly disappointing from start to finish. - The paintings. So many bad things to say, dirty so many things need upgrading and fixing. Smelt moldy in bathroom. Its up 3 flights of stairs and i have physical issues. Dog had an allergic reaction so i tried to cancel they wouldnt let me with out paying £70 so i tried to change the date but they kept refusing and not replying when i asked what days they were free for me to change. Finally got them to change the dates after so long of going back and forth requesting dates with no response from them.
There was a pink stain on floor in bathroom which they have accused me of doing, i am so shocked, i had to clean the whole place. It was unbelievable to have paid so much and walked in to a place that physically repulsed me. I pulled hair and cleaned so much disgusting gunk from the plug before i even sat on the sofa. I kept having to hold my breath in the bathroom fue to the overwhelming mold smell.
I thought it was a man who owns it as the cleaning was so bad but there's lots of pink in the house so i hope its a man to explain the poor quality of everything although that doesnt explain all the handy work that needs sorting.
Scratched un-useable pans and not alot of equipment to actually cook even though its a self catering holiday apartment.
Coffee was very old & all stuck together in jar. No salt, only one bottle of seasoning that was gone off so i had to buy everything even though i was there for a couple days.
This could be an awesome property to stay at if it was actually stocked, cleaned and maintained well.
I wasnt going to leave a review but the fact they have accused me of making the pink stain is so shocking nevermind the poor customer service.
- Maureen (10/5): This is first time we have booked a property (usually hotel ) and was not disappointed Was so homel - Very central location Very homely accommodation Not the fault of property owners but parking in and around area is time restricted but this was over come by first dropping off our luggage at property then finding suitable parking not far away
- Dean (5/5): Passable - It was nice inside..
Clean
Quiet Parking was tough
Finding the place initially is tough
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional - A real home from home, perfectly presented and central location.
- Andy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chris (8/5): Very good - The location and the facilities in the apartment with good TV&Netflix ect No dislikes
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent apartment, lovely and clean and beautifully decorated.
- Brian (8/5): Comfortable and convenient place for us to stay for our couple of nights in Ayr. - It was a good size, had great heating, and a lovely large kitchen table for meals. We really appreciated the toiletries provided, also the tea and coffee. It was in a good location near the centre of Ayr and close to restaurants and shops.
There was plenty of parking nearby, we were lucky arriving on a Saturday afternoon and leaving on a Monday morning so found a fairly convenient park and didn't have any parking charges to pay. There wasn't much hanging space for clothes, and no airer for clothes from the washing machine. There was no sharp knife, and a couple of the light fittings were too low for a 6 footer who kept brushing his head against them.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - The location, the excellent house, very spacious and exceptionally clean, everything you needed was there and a very informative book The entrance
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment great location 🙂
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Large space. Modern & great location.
- Peter (10/5): Excellent.recommdnded - Excellent location with all the facilities you need. Clean and tidy. Nothing
- Anderson (10/5): Exceptional - Great location walking distance to everything you need and clean tidy and have everything you need and more
- Pauline (10/5): Warm and cozy flat great location - This has got to be the cleanest comfiest flat we have been to in Scotland. Excellent decoration up to date new carpets and freshly painted. Was really pleasant. Games and cards to play. Menus for takeaways everything you need. It was on third floor but that is all
- Glen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Lovely apartment - Lovely wee apartment, well equipped kitchen. Nice and cosy.
- Becca (10/5): Lovely little space, can’t fault it! Thank you! - Spotless and really cute little apartment! the living room is lovely too. handy place too! didn’t realise it was top floor initially but I can make do 😂
- Angus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - The property was spotless and excellent location.
- Helen (9/5): Convienient and comfortable! - It was in a brilliant location, clean, bright and I had everything I needed for my stay. The hosts were very helpful. The windows didn’t all close properly which was fine as the weather was warm when I was there but It might put me off booking in the winter months.
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (7/5): It had all we needed for a one night stay. - Location.
Cleaned and tidy apartment.
Personal touch with a text to see if we’d found it ok etc… I think visitors should be warned about the communal entrance. It was a bit of a shock walking into it as a first impression of where we were staying.
Other places in my charged us £10 extra for taking a dog, whereas here, it was £20.
- Balfour (10/5): Loved the little extras of chocs and tunnocks t cakes on the bedside tables , also the millionaires shortbread in the f - Was very clean and modern everthing you could need for a stay without going shopping for the basics .
In a lovely old part of the town easy walking distance for everything .
- Samantha (8/5): Very good place. - Great apartment, great hosts, great location. No freezer, bit chilly at night as windows aren't great. TV channels not great, news channels only and no radio. Otherwise excellent.
- Katsi (9/5): Cosy little flat for a couple of days stay. - I loved the coziness of the apartment, cute little book with local places to go, comfortable lounge and kitchen with almost everything.
The owners were responsive in regards to the shower situation (which hopefully would be fixed by next time I consider visiting). They also gave good instructions for accessing the property.
Would have preferred a fridge freezer especially if I was to stay a few more nights I often like to buy sorbet to eat in the evening or have some frozen foods to save money on the trip. The little drinks fridge is useful but doesn’t cut it. I suppose it depends on their normal clientele durations.
As a solo female travelling I do get conscious of doors with flimsy feeling locks (flat door only uses a single latch lock) and a number of windows are not lockable. As I’m from London where we get a lot of opportunists I’m obviously more wary.
- Margaret (7/5): Good -
- Zena (10/5): Exceptional - Very helpful host. Lovely appt wit really good facilities at top floor of an old tenement building a secret gem. Not far from the river a few minutes walk from the beach. Lots good restaurants close with excellent recommendations from the host.
- Gail (10/5): Hidden gem - Beautiful flat , great location , can see river from kitchen window. Everything was great if I was to be picky I would say maybe a throw for couch, an extra tea towel and some type tuperware for micro didn't want to stain dinner set heating beans lol
- Carrieann (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful decorated and really clean, had everything needed and really happy with our stay! Will definitely book again and thankyou for a lovely stay

The owners even left us out a birthday card and bottle of Prosecco for my husbands birthday , my husband would like me to mention the massive beanbag in the living room, it was amazing Nothing

- Lesley (10/5): We had a lovely stay at golfers rest and the host went above and beyond to help us - It was cosy, bed was so comfortable and had everything we needed I can’t fault anything
- Margaret (5/5): Great location if you want to be in the town centre - The location was perfect and the owner let us park at his residence which was good of him The bed was a bit uncomfortable but maybe not what we are used to, the shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold we could not get it to regulate at a constant temperature. The fridge was inadequate for our stay but that is our fault as I hadn't noticed in the pictures of the flat that it was a small one. We couldn't get the washing machine didn’t work
- Nicola (9/5): Superb - Brilliant location. Apartment was spotless everything that you needed. Host also messaged to make sure if we needed anything to let them know.
- Yvonne (10/5): Fabulous homely apartment. - Really beautiful roomy apartment. So well equipped with everything you would need. It felt so homely with lots of nice touches, nice lighting and seating and cute ornaments.
Ideal location close to all amenities. Would stay again and highly recommend. It didn’t bother me but just to note for others that there are stairs to entrance. Dimly lit entrance at night but I just used my torch on my phone.

- Martine (10/5): Fantastic little apartment. Loved it! - Had a lovely weekend away at this beautiful apartment. Very nicely decorated, loved the yellow rocking chair! It was clean and cosy, with a very comfortable bed. Near to shops, restaurants, the harbour and the beach. Lovely hosts who offered us a free parking space in a safe location nearby, which we were very pleased to accept. Hosts have thought of everything you need & left milk in the fridge for a cuppa on our arrival, and biscuits too! We loved our stay at this little gem, and will definitely be back.
