- Emma (10/5): A magical stay in Akaslompolo - Our stay at Villa Vanamo was absolutely magical. The cabin itself was very well equipped, spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The location was incredible too! Just a few minutes walk from the main restaurants and shops of Akaslompolo. Tarja went out of her way to make our stay incredibly comfortable and even prepared the sauna for us - which was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Villa Vanamo and look forward to coming back some day soon! Nothing - it was perfect.
- Barry (9/5): Lovely comfortable apartment, well located, great host and so a good holiday. - Very good communications with the host who was available to greet us upon arrival. Location excellent for cross country skiing and auroras, probably good for the downhill slopes too. Property very well equipped and clean, great kitchen. Quiet. Useful space for outdoor clothes and skis. Ski rental available nearby. Large supermarket within walking distance. Sauna was made available to us and was clean and hot! It would be useful to have a sign saying "Villa Vanamo" outside to help locate the property upon arrival.
- Vina (10/5): Cosy and comfy stay with a lovely host. - Tarja was very responsive and truly a wonderful host. She made our stay memorable and loved the interior as the space is perfect for a couple. The location is very convenient as not too far from everything if you do not have transport but we had a car and parking at premises made it easy on snow days. The last night she prepared the sauna which is located outside the house with lovely candles and with the snowing outside made it picture perfect. Sadly can't upload photos here but will leave a great review on google too. All was good 😊
