• Benjamin (9/5): Fantastic Host - The breakfast was phenomenal. Very autism friendly. The proprietor Richard was a marvelous host, who regaled us with interesting stories and hooked us up with some local astronomers. Seemed a little pricey for just a room and a breakfast.

La habitación estaba impecable, muy cómoda y tranquila, ideal para descansar. Pero lo que realmente hizo la diferencia fue Richard, el anfitrión. Más allá de ser una persona amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudar, Richard tiene una historia de vida admirable que inspira. Conversar con él fue un verdadero privilegio; transmite sabiduría, humanidad y una calidez difícil de encontrar. Sin duda, volvería no solo por el lugar, sino por la persona que lo hace especial. ¡Gracias, Richard! Falto mi tiempo,
• Fernández Molina (10/5): - Además de ser un lindo lugar, que te hace retroceder en el tiempo, pero que se encuentra muy bien mantenido, la limpieza y calidad destacan por sobre todo,. El nivel de servicio nos sorprendió, son detalles, cómo la calidad de sábanas, toallas, etc que sorprenden para ser un hostal. Richard es un amor de persona, muy atento, amable y te hace sentir como en casa. Nos quedamos con gusto a poco, así es que seguro volveremos!!

• David (9/5): A quiet oasis in Vicuña - Lovely rooms and kitchen based around an open air courtyard. Great location near the centre. Delightful breakfasts. Our host (Richard) was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing.
• Nigelsearle (8/5): Be prepared to pay cash. - The host Richard an American/Lebanese was an interesting fellow though somewhat a conspiracy theorist, kind enough to check in on us as we were both ill when he had left on business also giving me information via phone where to get a share taxi (collectivos) I negotiated with the driver to take us direct (no stopping at his base) to our next accommodation in La Serena 20,000 cps. The garden seating area was very nice, Nelly was a lovely lady preparing our breakfast with the Chilean standard of eggs,ham, homemade bread, cheese, olives,homemade yoghurt, and fruit from Richards garden. The bathroom towels were 6 stars huge and thick and plenty of hot water albeit we were the only guests. The rooms had no double glazing, no heating and as we had the flu we froze at night (out of bed) making healing difficult as we are elderly. The fact Richard wanted payment in cash which caused us to do multiple withdrawals at the only bank (Banco Estado) with fees and the worst exchange rate in Chile cost us an extra $35 in total.
