• Janet (9/5): Joyous! - Beautiful location and well-equipped. Wouldn’t say that there was any thing we didn’t like but some instructions about where to put the hot ashes from the fire would have been useful.
• amanda (10/5): An amazing house in a fantastic location! - Everything! The layout of the house, the decor, the furnishings, all of which were of a very high standard. The kitchen is very well stock with every utensil you are likely to need during a visit, and the coffee machine is amazing. The place was immaculately clean. We were a group of friends and loved the ability to all socialize in the one room whether we were cooking, eating or relaxing. The views from the house are amazing It is only a 2 minute drive from Gatehouse of Fleet, I am sure you could walk but we didn't, where we went for lunch in the Ship Inn which I would recommend. There were various art and knick knack shops all of which were worth a visit Have stayed in various self catering properties over the years and this one is definitely in my top 3 There was nothing that we didn't like, however if I was forced to make one comment it would be that there is no full length mirror in the house. With a house full of female guests this was comment on.
• Anne (10/5): Fantastic holiday home , if I could move in permanently I would - Fabulous property , great views and very high spec inside. Has everything you need for a lovely family break, crockery, glasses, serving dishes . All beds very comfortable , two rooms with roomy en suites and a fantastic bathroom with a view ! No fenced area for dogs .

• Francis (10/5): What a stunning property! We have been on 5 staycation style holidays in Scotland since the covid pandemic and this plac - Super modern. Open plan living. High specification fixtures and fittings. Stunning location. Lots of space inside and out. Nothing, it’s fabulous!
• Karen (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful house to have chosen for a multi-generational get-together to celebrate a big birthday. Spacious, extremely comfortable, well equipped, great views - when visible through the rain! Having this place to dodge the rain was brilliant and we all thoroughly enjoyed our week here and felt at home. Very minor points: more than one, and sturdier, bin liners would have been appreciated; upstairs bathrooms would benefit from small shelves for toiletries; perhaps more information about walks from the house (eg to village through woods). But none of this affects our top rating and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others, or to return should the opportunity arise.

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional Family Break - Disdow House is in a beautiful setting with spectacular views. The house itself, has been done to a very high standard and quality. It is incredibly well equipped and has everything you could need and more. It's a fabulous entertaining space for a large group, allowing everyone to socialise together in one, open plan space, with incredible views as your backdrop. The bedrooms are all spacious with large beds, quality bedding allowing for a comfortable sleep. From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a great family break and they even had 2x christmas trees to make our December get away even more special. Location is the perfect balance of being secluded in your immediate surroundings to enjoy the privacy, whilst being close enough to the village where you will find bars, restaurants and some lovely gift shops. I could continue with even more that I loved about Disdow House! There was nothing that we didn't like - just that we couldn't stay even longer!

• Darren (9/5): Excellent Weekend with Family - Would definitely recommend this amazing accommodation. We had a fantastic weekend , the house is spacious , everything u need , clean and the decor is so nice . Plenty of different things to do in the surrounding area and ideal for the dogs as well .

• Yvonne (10/5): South West Scotland visit - The house is amazing and spotlessly clean, with fantastic views. Well stocked with everything you might need. Good location for us to visit the coco bean factory, cream of Galloway ice cream parlour, gem Rock museum and Kirkcudbright.
