- carol-ann (5/5): Passable - 10 min walk from Anfield stadium.
Bed n linen were clean. Clean towels left out n plenty toilet roll. It was freezing. Window ajar in bedroom, didn't want to touch as dirty n mould on blinds! Thank goodness for electric blanket n radiator.
- J.H.B. Jansen (6/5): - Voor een wedstrijd op Anfield te zien de perfecte locatie..
Snel contact met verhuurder Sober, oude keuken, oude badkamer, koud bij binnenkomst
- simon (8/5): Anfield view - Great location for the football,a few minutes walk from the Arkles pub and about 5 minutes from Anfield. We only stay for 1 night, it was just somewhere for us to sleep. Couldn't park outside, but we managed to park a few streets away. The whole house was big... Had central heating and my bed was quite comfy. The toilet made a bit of a load noise when you flushed it. Had a key safe so we never met the owners.
- Ajayi (1/5): Worse experience ever - Nothing I completely regret booking this accommodation. The experience was terrible from start to finish.
There was no parking space available, no instructions within the property and no communication from the host despite several calls and messages. The cleanliness was extremely poor — cobwebs in the kitchen, and the entire place felt neglected.
There was no heating at all, and we couldn’t sleep the whole night due to the cold — especially difficult with children. The toilet made a loud vibrating noise throughout the house whenever flushed.
The kitchen was completely unequipped, with no utensils to cook or even prepare a simple meal.
Overall, this property is in terrible condition and should not be listed on Booking.com. It does not meet even basic hospitality standards. I would strongly advise others not to book this place..
- Joe (8/5): - Perfect location
- Seamus (6/5): - Brilliant place to stay for match in Anfield
- Nicola (1/5): not Livable, very dirty, worst state of repair i have seen, disgusting property - Nothing - property is not fit for what it is being used for property is not fit to be lived in, in a exceptional bad state of repair, kitchen is falling apart and very very dirty, bathroom is a disgrace, used toilet roll still on toilet brush, and bath not secured to wall (wobbles) house VERY dirty and grimy, door very bad state of repair, windows also poorly maintained.bed sheets dirty, pillows flat, if we had turned up with enough time we would not have stopped there for single night. We left 0800hrs next morning as the dirt & dust triggered my wife’s asthma and it was supposed to be a weekend away with out the children, we went and stopped in alternative accommodation, food marks left on kitchen counter, we had to go and buy cleaning equipment to clear one of the work tops,. the owner should be ashamed of them selves.
- Noel (7/5): Ideal For Our requirments. - I chose this property after researching all others next to Liverpool Anfield Stadium and booked it according to what was important to me and acceptable to my 23 year old daughter. 1. The bedroom beds had to be clean for our nights stay. 2.It had to have a TV and 3. The heating should Work. As our Visit was in June the Gas heating wasnt needed. but we did use the oil filled radiator and hologen space heater an hour before retiring. The property is old a bit like visiting grandmas in the 60's but it had character. Bells and wistles I did not expect at this price point, we had beds to sleep in after the concert wich was a 2 min stroll to and from Anfield stadium. We did not use the kitchen facilities as we @ out at a local cafe which is a short walk 4 mins away from property. I brought my Ipad and used my iphone as a hotspot to watch a netflix film and my daughter did likewise. The property has freeview channels which my daughter utalised to watch big bang before we left for the concert and in the evening before retiring. On a personal level I would stay at property if I wanted access to Liverpool FC stadium for concerts or Football matches. Its a 3 bed property 2 double beds for adults and a bunk bed for children or adults. It was the cheapest accomodation in the area for sole occupency rather than shared accomodation. Paul the owner provided the lock code for entry and kept us informed in a timely manner to ensure everything for our stay was in place.
I smiled when I saw a que after the consert of a thousand people on the opposite side of the accomodation we were in with 4 public transport buses ! I can only assume they had an interest journey getting back. So if you want cheap and cheerful that ticks your boxes book this house, if you want bells and whistles and dancing entertainers and can pay premium rates book elswhere. I was happy and my daughter didnt complain and the night went as expected. Leaving Liverpool.
- Alex (5/5): Passable -
- Jessica (3/5): Poor - Close to Anfield Stadium. The house is huge and spacious The house is extremely old and hasn’t been maintained at all. There is mould in most rooms, it was dirty, there was a glass panel missing from the front bedroom window, wallpaper coming off the walls. There is a sign on the wall in the kitchen to say milk in the fridge but the fridge wasn’t even plugged in. It was freezing cold when we arrived, the toilet makes a terrible noise when flushed..
- Sanjay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lorna (3/5): Poor - Location was excellent as we were over there for a football match It was so cold our two kids were freezing the entire time. In fairness to the owner when we rang on our second day they did bring over extra duvets and told us we could keep the heating on full time.
It’s perfect for a group who are over for a weekend for drinks and football and just need somewhere to put their head
