Guest Reviews
- Fiona (10/5): Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and very clean - Delightful cottage, comfortable and clean, spacious and beautifully decorated in modern colours. All four of us loved it for our short stay. Well located for coastal outings and walks. Spec had noted two bathrooms. In reality one large bathroom upstairs; one toilet and washbasin in a utility room downstairs. Both absolutely fine, but not ideal for four adults all wanting showers in morning!!! Suggest spec is altered to reflect this?
We are all in our 70's but, we hadnt noted any mention of a steep staircase. Luckily we are all fit so managed. Fabulous cottage otherwise!
- carolyn (10/5): - The property was very clean ,warm, and comfortable ,with plenty of space
- Caro (9/5): - Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. Great for family and grandparents.
- Amran Hasan (10/5): - We went to tulip garden and we had to stay one night there. It was wonderful experience.Everything was so tidy and overall the wren cottage perfect.Thank You
- Alice (9/5): A lovely cottage situated righ in the centre of Heacham. Comfortable and clean and would recommend, - Wren Cottage has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The cottage was clean and the beds comfortable. A very well equipped kitchen, with everything you need and a small contained garden, which is great for dogs.
There is off road parking for one car and the location of the cottage was exactly what we wanted, right in the heart of Heacham. We would definitely recommend Wren Cottage and hope to stay again soon. No complaints - everything was as we hoped.

- Nathon (10/5): WHAT A GEM - Everything! The house was beautiful Genuinely there wasn’t a thing I’d change
- Sarah (10/5): We had a lovely short break at Wren cottage, it’s in a great location with lots to do close by. - It is a beautifully presented cottage, the facilities were clean and comfortable, everything you needed was there. Lots of local shops and takeaways were in walking distance. The road was very quiet even though it is called ‘high street’ there was hardly any cars up or down. There was nothing to not like about the property.
- Keith (10/5): Enjoyable stat -
- Helen (10/5): Nicely furnished village house , clean ,spacious & well equipped - Lovely spacious downtowns with a great kitchen diner ideal for our family. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking . Lots of books and games for all the family. Well situated in Heacham village, ideal for the shops , takeaways and beach.
All bedrooms have comfy beds, bedding and pillows.
Grateful to have 2 door keys with 4 adults staying.
Really enjoyed our stay.

- Isobel (8/5): Warm, cosy and roomy cottage. - Nice property and spacious. it was very cosy and exceptionally warm. It would have been good (but not essential) to have a few small extras such as some salt or a few tea bags. A small welcome pack goes a very long way. But we hadn't depended on it.
- John (9/5): Excellent, very comfortable and clean - Wonderful Cottage
- Helen (10/5): Wonderful Christmas break for our family - This lovely house is spacious with a very comfortable lounge and airy kitchen diner. Ample seating for our group of 5 with a great selection of games, puzzles and books. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. The wood burner warmed the lounge perfectly and the central heating was left to us to control. The bedrooms had ample hangers, comfortable beds and 2 dressing tables … thank you !! There was nothing to dislike
- Annette (10/5): - Had everything we needed, spotless and Comfortable
- Smith (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): Perfect place to stay within walking distance of beach, shops, pub - Very clean, well equipped, perfect location Nothing

- Bev (10/5): - Beautifully clean home from home stay, everything about this home made you feel comfortable, cozy and relaxed. The rooms are calming, filled with lovely decor, and it was just perfect for a friends weekend away. We cooked at the house, the kitchen had all the accessories needed. The kitchen also has a patio garden with seating and pretty lights. The sofas/chairs are comfortable in the lounge, cupboard filled with games/puzzles if that's your thing. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and have a great amount of space. Shower is Fab in the main bathroom upstairs, and love this has a separate downstairs toilet/utility room. It has a log burner in the lounge, which makes this time of the year even more cozy. Nice touch. We brought extra logs/kindling, but there was enough to get the fire started at the home when we arrived. But there is also central heating. Handy and very quiet location, a 15 minute walk to the beach, 5 mins to Tesco local, cafes and takeaways. A short walk to Norfolk Lavender, and Lidl if needing a bigger supermarket (which is where we found extra logs/kindling for log burner) Parking - one space for off road, outside the home, and a quiet road which has generous spaces for extra cars. Communication with Hosts was great. We will be back.

- Sharon (10/5): Home from home - Lovely cottage in a great location. Nothing
- Antony (9/5): Great from start to finish - Everything Nothing
- Anthony (9/5): Nce break but Heacham was a bit of a dissapointment - Clean, well decorated, tidy plenty of room Some dish cloths and a bathroom cloth would have been nice, extra hand towels in bathroom,, and clocks that work would have meant 10 out of 10
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - Beds were so comfy...the cottage was lovely and clean...there was nothing you didn't need everything was provided except for a pair of scissors sorry only negative. The cottage was very tastefully decorated to a high standard Nothing
- Marcina (10/5): Lovely stay in Norfolk in a beautifully decorated cottage with everything you could need. - It is so comfortable inside. A gorgeous kitchen diner and lounge area. Very clean and near to the beaches at Heacham and Hunstanton. Dog friendly and friendly neighbours. Chip shop and Indian restaurant near by. Tesco express you can walk to. Heacham is a very pretty village, lots of friendly people too. Nothing
- Theresa (10/5): A Great Place to Stay in Heacham - The whole house was very clean and decorated to a high standard. The furnishings and ornaments made it a place you could live in. Everything you can think of was provided in the kitchen.
So many board games and books, jigsaws too.
The information pack was packed full of all you needed to know about the house and the surrounding area.
The wasn't an 'in the bath' slip mate, one message to Chris later and Amazon arrived with one, you cannot ask for better service than that.
I would highly recommend. The only down side for me and my 70 plus year old friends was the stairs are a tad steep. Some of us have 'Bungalow Legs' lol, so younger legs that are used to stairs will be fine :)
- Gillian (10/5): Lovely - Beautiful, comfortable and clean Would like blackout curtains in the bedrooms but that’s me being picky
- Stephanie (10/5): Lovely property , well equipped , helpful and communicative hosts . - We were three adults and found the property very comfortable , clean and well equipped .
Would definitely recommend . Nothing . But parking on the premises may be an issue if you have a large car but was ok for us.Parking on the road outside the property is possible.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent property perfect for our needs. Location perfect Nothing
- Jane (10/5): Fantastic! Perfect! - The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped, warm, comfortable and in a brilliant location. It has a garden with an outdoor table . Downstairs toilet, always a bonus. Check in and out was easy and hassle free. There is a supermarket just up the road. Parking was available in the road as well as parking for one car on the front gravelled area. Perfect! Would love to stay again. Nothing to dislike but few minor things. The main bedroom needs a wardrobe. The cooker hood makes the most horrendous noise when switched on! Tricky getting off the gravel area sometimes.
- Sarah (10/5): Had a lovely, cosy and homely feel. - Me and my family lived staying here. It was clean, spacious and has a lovely homely feel to it. Everything was Amazing. The only little thing I found to have a problem with was the shower, the main shower head was spurting water everywhere. But we used the smaller one instead.
- Ford (10/5): Lovely stay lovely place in Heacham thank you! -
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (10/5): Excellent place to stay for the family. Good facilities inm the cottage and location good for social - Everything - space, cleanliness, facilities, ability to control hearting, location That we couldn't stay longer due to other commitments !

- Russell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Stunning cottage - highly recommend - Beautifully furnished comfy cottage. Very well equipped, they’d thought of everything! Bigger than I was expecting.
Would definitely stay here again. Very minor thing, the temperature of the shower was difficult to adjust.
- Julie (10/5): Fab - Excellent
- Julie (10/5): Perfect - Superb accommodation - immaculate and furnished so beautifully . Communication was excellent and even chatting to the lovely neighbour who gave us garden flowers Thankyou - was a pleasure to stay Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable cottage. - Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Really comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We wished we were staying longer. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back. That we were only staying for two nights
- Anthony (9/5): Excellent house which was finished to a high standard. - The house was really nice with an excellent finish throughout and furnished to a high standard. It had everything you could want.
I would highly recommend. Parking was on the front of the house and not the block paved drive. We were only informed of this one week before the stay. The front was tight for my car which is quite large especially as there were bushes in the way. There was parking on the road in high season so this wasn't a major issue in the end - the advert should be more clear initially.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic stay....comfortable, homely, everything was perfect. We will return..thank you
