• Thomas (10/5): Absolutely great, can fully recommend it! - Andy and his team are doing a great job, I was there with my family and it was amazing. Started already with reception all are friendly and helpful, all the rooms are very clean, also the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, so much choice, unbelievable. We often used public transport, as underground station is nearby 6-7min walk. Shops are nearby. All was perfect! Thanks to the great team again. Nothing comes to mind.

• Jason (10/5): Amazing Staff Service, Clean Rooms & Convenient Location - LOCATION: - The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlours, and nail salons, and is easily accessible via Didi. CLEANLINESS: - The cleaning staff do an amazing job every day and keep everything spotless. They are also very accommodating — on one occasion, we left the hotel at 4pm and they were still happy to come in and clean our room. STAFF: - The staff (concierge, front desk, greeters, bellboys, etc.) are all incredibly friendly and truly go above and beyond to help. - The front desk staff were always reachable via the room phone and were very patient with my random requests (like masking tape and measuring tape) during my frantic last-minute packing. - A special shout-out to Coke Liu, who helped me organise delivery boxes for all my shopping — he even added me on WeChat to assist me outside of his working hours. I’m so grateful to him! - I’d also like to thank John Liu and Molly Chen, who always greeted me with a smile and consistently offered help whenever I saw them in the lobby. CONCLUSION: Shanghai was our final stop on our China trip, and we weren’t expecting much — but the staff at this hotel were so welcoming, hardworking, and courteous that I would definitely stay here again when I return to Shanghai. 1) Note that there are NO laundry machines or dryers in this hotel - you will have to Didi to a laundromat if you want to do your own laundry instead of relying on their dry cleaning service. There is a laundromat- Jingyue Self-Service Laundry (Chengshangcheng Branch) about an 18-min Didi ride from the hotel. Note that you NEED a Chinese phone number to get a mobile verification code to operate the Wechat or Alipay app-operated washing & drying machines. 2) Nothing to do with the hotel but when you order a Didi, some of them find it hard to locate the entrance to the hotel driveway (which is 1-way only). Might be good for the hotel to install a large sign to show the Entrance.

We appreciated our room attendant, Carrie Sun, as she was very thorough, she thought of everything we would need and provided it; and her smile was amazing! Our rooms on the 25th floor were quiet and spacious, with a great view and very comfortable beds. We had dinner one evening at the Thai restaurant. The food was excellent and the service by Timmy Zhong was friendly and attentive. We would also like to mention the very nice and helpful receptionist, Sinnie Lv. Breakfast was very varied, with live cooking stations for eggs and Chinese dishes.

• Christian (10/5): Will be back - Amara exceeded our expectations! There was a small hiccup with the deposit, but it was resolved quickly and without any hassle. Check-in was smooth and efficient. Most rooms offer 1 king size bed, so had to pay for an extra bed as we are a family of 4, however was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless (loved the bidet toilets!) If you’re craving something late at night and can’t decide what to order, there’s a small burger spot conveniently connected to the hotel that stays open until 3 AM, a huge bonus! Used the laundry service, just note that payment is required before your items are returned to your room. We were upgraded to Executive Lounge access, though we didn’t get a chance to use it but will definitely make use of it next time. The instructions said to place used towels in the bathtub if we wanted them replaced, which we did but they weren’t taken. Not sure if they’re meant to stay until checkout, but we still received fresh towels, so no complaints!

• Yuxin (10/5): - 酒店位置环境都非常好，所有工作人员都很热情认真负责，特别是礼宾zero服务很周到细致，看到我受伤不方便帮我们送行李，还推荐了酒店送机服务，总之非常好的一次入住！

• Lawrence (8/5): Very nice hotel which is clean and close proximity to public transport - Hotel location is nice with plenty of shops all around. The hotel room was comfy and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. We had access to the executive lounge and Staff were excellent, Evan Guan kindly introduced himself to us which was nice and let us know if anything we needed to we only need to ask. The ability to change currency would be nice
