• Luciane de Paula (7/5): Hostel agradável- localização a pé e cansativo e inseguro. - Gostou do atendimento da Dani, muito simpática e prestativa. Eles tem uma regra de sillencio que e respeitada.Local limpo e agradável. Não há armários individuais; os pertences ficam em um quarto separado sem chave. Não tem uma piscina , podemos chamar de SPA ou mini piscina. A localização não é tão próxima do centro histórico e, para quem não está de carro, é necessário caminhar cerca de 15 minutos ou aguardar em média 1 hora pelo ônibus local. Além disso, o caminho é uma subida íngreme, o que pode ser bastante cansativo, principalmente ao retornar dos passeios. Para quem deseja voltar ao centro histórico à noite, é preciso encarar novamente essa caminhada, o que pode acabar desanimando. Apesar de 15 minutos parecer pouco, a rua é deserta e mal iluminada e, dependendo do período, pode ser necessário fazer o trajeto sozinha, o que gera insegurança. A praia da Jabaguara é próxima a um mangue, água escura e fundo com lama.
• Karla (9/5): Atmosphärisches Hostel. - Ich hab die Lage sehr geliebt, direkt am Meer, ruhig, atmosphärisch und ca. 15 Minuten vom historischem Centrum entfernt. Man kann entweder gehen oder einen kostenfreien, stündlichen Bus nehmen, der direkt vor der Tür hält. Super komfortabel! Zudem ist das Hostel sehr hübsch eingerichtet, es ist klein und familiär mit super lieben und entspannten Mitarbeitern. Kein Partyhostel, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Leider war die Klimaanlage im Dorm nicht sehr vertrauenswürdig und Moskitos haben mich in der Nacht teils wach gehalten.

Todos foram muito receptivos e pude me inteirar rapido com o local e os arredores, que são próximos do centro histórico. Os espaços comuns são uma delícia e o Hostel tem uma vibe tranquila além de sempre poder interagir com várias pessoas e fazer novas amizades. O ar condicionado faz um ruído um pouco alto e o armário de bolsas pode melhorar.

• Bartlomiej (10/5): Newly opened relaxing hostel in a chill location with friendly people - I had a great time as Hostel Mawe and ended up staying for almost a week longer than I had planned! The owners and volunteers are were super friendly and cool and made the experience 10/10. Mawe hostel is located a bit out of the city center in a quieter area of Paraty with nice views and beaches. It includes a cool little terrace with a few of the beach, perfect for having your morning coffee or just chilling in the evening. The hostel was opened in the last few months and you can see the love and effort the owners are putting into creating an amazing hostel! Thanks Rafa for everything!! I hope to come back one day! Sometimes there were many mosquitos which made it hard to relax or sleep, but it was like this everywhere in Paraty.

• Rafael (10/5): An unforgettable stay — I would definitely come back! - Amazing atmosphere and one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had! The location is perfect, very close to the beach, and the place is super clean, organized, and comfortable. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making you feel at home. The common areas are great to meet people, and everything is well thought out. You can really feel the positive energy of the place! Honestly, nothing. Everything exceeded my expectations.

• Fabiana (7/5): Atendeu ao que precisávamos para 1 pernoite em família. - Ótima localização, café da manhã fresquinho. Roupas de cama cheirosas e limpas. Iluminação do quarto estava fraca, de 2 lâmpadas, apenas 1 estava funcionando. Havia uma bituca de cigarro dentro do ralo da pia do banheiro.

Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, varié et en quantité. Du café est à disposition toute la journée. Les lits sont confortables et le rangement est suffisant (cintres, bureau, patères). La chambre est faite sur demande pendant le séjour ainsi que le remplacement des draps et serviettes. On me l’a même proposé sans que je le demande. On rejoint très facilement le centre historique à pieds en 15 minutes. Rien, c’était parfait !

Nice to sit on the terrace. Good breakfast. Very noisy - between bars next door, people in the rooms next door, dog barking, motorbikes driving past etc. 2 nights in a row the room next to us seemed to be having a party in their room, loud music and shouting etc. Towels old/stained. Ants in bathroom. No extractor fan in bathroom so gets very steamy, results in room feeling quite damp. Floor/corners felt quite dirty. Lack of storage/space

Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful and the staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. Loved the little dog Mawe :)
• Tikva (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was good, with several fresh options. The location is good if you want to go to the beach. Our daughter liked that they have a dog. Because of all the great reviews, we might have had too high expectations. However, we felt the double bed was really hard. We stayed for 3 nights, and there was no cleaning off the room or bathroom. Also, the music from the nearby restaurant was pretty loud.
• Monika (9/5): Relaxing stay and great vibes! - Very relaxing atmosphere. Great staff who spoke English - which is rare in Brazil! Awesome location close to beach, grocery store, and restaurants. Great outdoor hangout areas and simple but fresh and delicious breakfast! Room was ok - clean and what you would expect for the price but nothing fancy. No bug nets in windows. Thought we had no hot water, so took cold showers for the first day - figured out on the 2nd day that we do have hot water by fluke and how to turn it on.
