Allysan (9/5): Great stay that we really enjoyed - Location was perfect Very clean and modern with good facilities A lovely touch with a bottle of fizz and snacks The second bedroom was very small - a bed without a wooden frame would be better - we kept bumping our legs on the bedframe as the space around is so limited
Jonathan (9/5): Great location for walks, fantastic for the pub and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway station is very close too. - Good sized rooms all round. Comfortable. Dedicated parking space. Excellent cooking facilities. Very well equipped for families with children. Property is behind the Station Tavern which in itself is not a problem but restricts the views.

Steve (9/5): Woukd definitely book again for a future stay. - Location was ideal - very convenient for the NYMR A slop mate for the bathroom would be a useful addition as would a smallish table in each of the bedrooms but overall very pleased with the property.
Sue (8/5): Excellent for a weekend stay. Handy for the steam train! - As we were in Grosmont for a lunch experience on the steam train, Badger's Rest was the perfect location for our weekend base. Well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely time. A nice touch for a bottle of prosecco and teabags which was provided for us. Thank you.....We'd brought our own supplies and hadn't planned to cook anything. The cottage was lovely - we'd consider a future stay and would recommend to friends. Heating wasn't on so the property felt cold when we arrived at 4pm. Completely understand though that the property might have been empty for a few days before we arrived. Heating was easy to get going.
John (10/5): Pleasant, relaxing stay. - Clean, comfortable, cosy, and with all the kitchen equipment one could require. The welcome basket was a nice touch. Handy for the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and other attractions. We had a super stay. Only one little thing. The fan in the bathroom (operated when the light is switched on), stays on for 20 minutes and tends to resonate in the bedroom nearby. When used at night this can be a little disturbing. Only a very minor point that in no way distracted for a super stay, but would be better if on for a shorter time and perhaps a quieter fan.
