Guest Reviews
- Guest (7/5): Group - Location parking A little bit small for 4 adults
- Chae (9/5): -
- Katja (7/5): Thank you for enabling a lovely stay! - quiet location, not far from centre, spacious, well fitted out, very swift responses to our inquiries, car parking in front of the house since the weather was quite mild, the heatings in some rooms were too warm and could not be downregulated. minor problem
- Richard (6/5): Ideal location, opposite the football stadium, allocated parking space right in front of basement. - perfect location, exactly where we needed to be. Easy access into city centre without having to worry about taking a car. few minor things that could be addressed. Scuff marks on walls in front room caused by dining chairs, light fitting hanging from ceiling in hallway exposing wires, light fitting in bathroom very dirty, mould spots in said bathroom. Shower curtain mouldy. TV had no box so unable to watch anything other than Netflix which was signed in from previous occupant, unable to mirror screen from mobile device.
small double bed, not ideal for 6.4" person. Also no mattress protector on the bed, which is not ideal with many people sleeping in the same bed. No smoke detectors throughout the property.
- Alison (6/5): 2 night stopover in Exeter - It was spacious and nicely decorated.
It was very close to the city centre and the university.
We were able to eat in using the cooking facilities as well as eat out in local restaurants.
Being able to park the car outside the apartment was a bonus. The area was very noisy. It felt like we were surrounded by student accommodation. (and they were celebrating throughout the night)
The facilities could have been better for the price paid (the microwave didn't work, and the shower curtain needed a wash to remove mould. Also, I was expecting basic toiletries, and some information about the area + how to use the appliances would have been good)
Having stayed in many apartments with Booking.com these are the sort of things that I have got used to expect, I guess.
- Nigel (7/5): Good - It was perfectly located, for the train station, town and Exeter FC There were no freeview channels on the TV (no aerial), the bathroom fan didn't work, exposed electrics on hallway light, and no instructions on how to operate the central heating.
- Pietro (9/5): Excellent location very close to shops great parking -
- Polly (9/5): Great Base for Exploring - As described and pictured. Very clean. Great communication. Easy parking. Great location for exploring on foot or driving further out/the other side of town. Could have done with one more towel and a pillow specifically for the sofa bed.
- Chris (10/5): Very comfy, thank you - Location great
- Abigail (1/5): Bad - Dirty, student type digs. I left as it was so awful. I was assured of a refund and since then the owner has not responded or refunded. Terrible 😞
- Clare (7/5): Good -
- Pam (8/5): Convenient location for visiting our daughter. - The sense of space. Good WiFi. Washing machine. Tea, coffee, salt & pepper & some oil provided. Responsive owners. There was no soap for washing hands/ showering not laundry detergent. However, after letting the owner know that there were a few other items that were not great (eg bedside lamp didn’t work by the bed due to a loose connection, but did work in another socket by the window; 2 dirty pans, washing machine not working (drum not spinning) the owner was very quick to try to fix or look to make amends.
- Tracey (8/5): Fabulous little place right in the own centre, would stay again! - The location was brilliant, right in the town centre plus parking! Clean, great little kitchen and lounge area. The party out the back on the first night (I’m sure it was probably a one off and we were just unlucky!) went on until 3am so a bit tired the next day. Adding a tea towel to the kitchen would be helpful for washing up :)
- Dave (9/5): Superb - The location was great right at the top of town center a really nice apartment with separate bedroom and living room just like having your own little house. I would recommend.
- Rhianwen (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (9/5): Perfectly positioned apartment - Lovely clean well decorated apartment 10 mins from central Exeter. Ideally positioned for visiting sights of Exeter, seeing children at uni or simply indulging in a spot of shopping and lunch. It suited our needs perfectly
- Richard (10/5): perfect and will book from now on every time we are in Exeter. - location near our student daughter
- Ahir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juliette (7/5): Lovely little flat within few minutes walking distance to shops/bars/restaurants - It was very handy for the center of town and great to have a parking space on the drive Students had just moved into the flat above. They were a bit noisy, so we didn't get a great deal of sleep. They were just in high spirits. It wasn't a full scale party and we would still consider staying there again.
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Sophia (10/5): perfect city centre stay! - nicely decorated, extremely clean, plenty of utensils
in the kitchen, beds comfy, bonus to have a washing
machine for if you’re staying longer / spending time at
the beach! Was a little wary with it being a basement
apartment but there was still lots of light! And we were even
treated to a chocolate orange on arrival :) loved everything :)
